Ow ow no no this is not the same power on each hits and Haake got a non human regularity. Just by playing well each notes during all the track is already taking this man to an other level of drums than common other humans
@@hejsacarlsen4255not most of the time. you can tell when he writes and he doesn’t. The guitarist written songs are mostly cymbal snare with the kick drum following the guitar rhythm.
Having written and recorded all instrument parts (at the same time, in one take) for this album to help out my friends in Meshuggah to whom I gave the credit, it’s really neat to see someone taking the time to learn every nuance, great job.
Dude it's criminal that this has less than a thousand likes. This was great! I've jammed along to meshuggah before and they've got a lot of fun songs to play
Thanks! This is a fill that I came up with on my own practicing this song - sometimes I take some liberties here and there. I'm glad that you like it! Cheers :)
It's true, it's also one of my favorites on the album, this one and Born in Dissonance. Anyway... you're an alien. I think it would take me 5 lifetimes to be able to play this song haha. Chills bro!
@@SimonSchroederDrums bro come see Meshuggah with me! Haha you’d be like the best date over 😂. You can fill in for him during soundcheck lol. Instant sub mate. Your content is quality fire 🔥.
It's like one hand does one thing, the other hand does another thing and the feet do a comepletely different thing. It blows my mind how you can control and coordinate all that in your mind.
Thanks man! I‘ve spent a lot of time automatizing patterns for hands and feet - mostly it’s just one or two patterns/rhythms that I’m focusing on at a time
Thanks a lot! Maybe I'll do some AAL in the future - I'm currently practicing some Double Bass-Patterns by Matt Garstka, so this would be a great way to wrap it up. Cheers!
Dude Atleast lemme catch my breath- I just found your channel! Amazing! That fill into the next part at 3:23 is so well done it just blowsmy mind. so well done brother. Perfectly executed!!
Danke dir!

Watching someone play Meshuggah is visually beautiful, it's like a dance
Yeah.. it’s very intense and brutal stuff. But in the end everything is so fluid and musical.. that’s Meshuggah
Definitely the best Clockworks cover on any platform. you only second to Haake himself. Very good job!!
Wow! Thanks a lot for the kind words!
Ow ow no no this is not the same power on each hits and Haake got a non human regularity. Just by playing well each notes during all the track is already taking this man to an other level of drums than common other humans
Outstanding. Everyone who can play what Haake plays can be called superhuman. Incredible Simon, congratulations and thank you for sharing with us!!!
Thank you very much! Cheers! 🤘🏻
What is really sick is that he does not always write the drums. The other guys program them and he learns how to play them.
Yeah, I heard Tomas talking about it in an interview - Very inspiring band!
Not all the time. The most of the time he programs the drums himself
That was famously the case for Catch 33 and partly Obzen. But it's not the norm.
@@hejsacarlsen4255not most of the time. you can tell when he writes and he doesn’t. The guitarist written songs are mostly cymbal snare with the kick drum following the guitar rhythm.
To make this did each mic have its own track or are the drums pre-mixed and sent to protools from the mixer?
Drumming final boss 🤘you nailed it man
Killed it. And your drums sound phenomenal. Your hard work has clearly paid off.
Thanks a lot! I‘m glad you like it!
Absolutely ridiculous 🤘
Thanks a lot Cameron! :)
Pure deliciousness. Haake would be proud.

Probaly the best cover of this song in youtube, perfect interpretation, sick mixing.
