Supro amps sound absolutely incredible and are ridiculously aesthetic. The Black Magick 25w combo is on my short list of amps to scoop up. I noodled on on for about an hour at the guitar store a few months back. Big congrats on your new tool. That's a grail amp for sure.
I have the original, non-master volume, non-reverb 1x12 Black Magick combo, and it's my baby. I play fingerstyle electric, and it's so touch-sensitive with the Channel 2 volume at about 11 o'clock. Barks when you dig in a little, sings when you back off. The tremolo circuit is so supple and chewy! My other go-to amp is a 68 Custom Princeton, and I'm pretty sure I like the sweeter voice of the Supro cleans with a touch of warble more than those classic Fender chiming tones. I bet that head would sound godly through a 2x12 cab with some Greenbacks!
I have a black majick combo and it's my all time favorite, it's the only amp I want to play anymore..it's a weird place to be when I can say after all these years "yup I'm good now I don't want anything else" I can mess around with different things on my pedal board just to flavour the amp and that tone is always there no matter what, just works perfect for my hand and pick ways
I’ve been thinking about getting a black magick combo. The only thing that turns me off is the absence of an effects loop. Do you run pedals through yours?
I have two Supro Comets. One stays home the other goes out and about. I think the amulet replaced the comet now discontinued.I like them because they’re simple, a little depth a little reverb . Turn it up all the way play light for clean pick hard for crunch.
I have the little bitty Supro Delta King 8 1wtt amp. No reverb, but it is an absolutely amazing amp. The tones are phenomenal. You just need a good reverb pedal and you are set.
Dude, seriously, get yourself a Quad Cortex. There so many options of amps on that thing that it almost causes choice overload. I think it would be great you as a player and great for your channel. I know I love mine, so much I really don't use my room full of actual amps much anymore. I've modeled them all on my favorite settings.
I had a 60's Supro combo amp and it was killer. It had a blue frame Jensen speaker in it. I got it through an ad in the classifieds for $300.00. There was no internet back then. I had to have it because I read that Hendrix first amp was a Supro and Jimmy Page recorded Led Zep 1 with a Tele and a Supro amp.
This amp sounds great. I don't think you can really convey how good amps are on TH-cam. I have two cheap amps that sound almost the same as this amp, they both easily give that creamy sound, that goes to crunchy when you really dig in with your playing, slightly overdriven, compressed tone that most are looking for. As far as not needing pedals to get that tone is what is a good point and this amp has reverb and tremolo, but no effects loop.
Supros are amazing. One of my friends got a 1960s Supro for Cheep not a head. But A regular boxed amp . And that shit sounded great. Just a straight clean amp. i don't know if he still has it or not.

Whatever you're doing with the ox box, it makes this amp sound terrible. I have the combo version and it sounds a million times better than what I am hearing in this video, which sounds muddy and unrefined. Sorry but if I watched this video before I bought the black magick I would have given it a hard pass.

I played a 50 Supro last December at a charity and, to say the least, it was one of the BEST tones I ever had!

I have a Supro Delta 10 that is small enough I can crank it pretty easy in the house. It has a boost, Drive, and reverb built in too.
