Restocking My Organic Local Fruits and Veggies for the Week | Meal Prep Chopped Salad

- Today I take you on a trip with me to the farmer's market to buy all my fresh organic produce for the week! We are super lucky to get local beautiful healthy produce year round. When I get home I like to prep all my veggies and wash them right away. I also show you how to prep your own salad mix instead of buying salad in a bag.
containers used-
fridge drawer- amzn.to/3KeQFRQ
lettuce/ salad container- amzn.to/3OcsEfk
silicone bags- amzn.to/3DviotL
sunflower dressing-
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
soak the seeds in boiling water for 1 hr then drain and rinse
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp liquid aminos or sub a pinch of salt
1 tbsp miso paste
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 clove garlic
blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth and creamy- about 60 seconds. Store in a jar in the fridge and use for up to 4 days.

What do you use to wash them with? I need to get some of it.
its from trader joe's called fruit and vegetable wash, but you could also just use regular white vinegar

Chanty, so glad you opted to keep washing the produce for us. Number one..I hate washing fruits and veggies, but watching you do it inspires me. Number two..it's seriously like, "Produce Washing ASMR". I find it so soothing and relaxing. Was so nice of you to include the time for fast forwarding for those who don't enjoy it though. Hey Chanty, I do wanna watch you wash your vegetables, you know why, bc it motivates me to do the same. If there’s ever a WEAKNESSES I have with my juicing and vegetarian lifestyle it’s washing and prepping my vegetables for the week. This is where you have HELPED me so much! having the food ready to go is where it really matters so thank you I really appreciate you showing us how you do this main part of a plant eaters lifestyle. I haven’t seen anybody else do that and that’s the most important part I think.

You seem to enjoy laying out all your farmers market haul for a display on your counter before prep like I do. I even take photos of my hauls because it makes me happy. I'm a sucker for plums (and cherries) and must be careful not to eat all of them at once because I love them so much. I'm always tempted to eat so many because I know the season is brief.

Chanty you can use the carrot top greens. Use some to make a pesto. We use ours every morning in our smoothies.

Chanty, I'm just like you when it comes to a good yard sale. I find some of the best things at yard/garage sales. It's like a treasure hunt. Also, you've inspired me to get my fridge organized. I purchased a few clear acrylic containers. (very inexpensive at Aldi) and I've given my refrigerator a make over. It's working out great!

I’m sorry, the veggie washing and prep has saved me lots of veggies and $. And the waste water is a reminder of the simplicity of conservation.
I don’t mind your produce washing. It isn’t that long. What I find upsetting is that when you wash dishes you run the water full blast. You live in LA and you should know better. It’s cringy to watch for me. This might have been on your other channel. I also hate Colly Wolly nickname but that’s not my problem. Other than that I like your channel
