@Karn EX I was wondering on your opinion on the Hybrid Spirit of Ice, since I don't think that the Human Spirit of Ice (a polar bear cub) and the Beast Spirit of Ice (a yeti) would fuse and result in a penguin wielding a popsicle stick as a weapon.
This is a very serious question i am asking. Can i use these ideas to complete my Homebrew DnD Monk Build, Way of the 10 Spirits ? I've been brewing that thing for months, but keep getting stuck in a corner when it comes to these 4 Elements.
The "purified" human spirit of water is my favorite of this bunch as it feels like the perfect inverse of Ranamon as from the design alone, I feel like Spellmon is a lot more shy then Ranamon, who loves attention.
These are incredible. Had Frontier been different during the Royal Knights arc we could have seen the bully kids get the discarded Legendary Spirits like these and join the fight. It would have been amazing. Love these designs.
Sylvanusmon is amazing. That'd be a spirit form I'd love to see in action. Adamantimon I was kinda hoping would be a little chunkier, given how muscular Gneissmon was. Like more of a barbarian of earth than the ninja look it has. Also looking at the group together, they really make me think of RPG roles: Sylvanusmon is tank, Adamantimon is dps, Bruixmon is healer, and Taliesimon is a support.
So I figured after watching the video I would give their attacks names and I think I came up with some great ones Futuremon: Temporal Missle, Spacial shot, and Future Visor Kabalmon: Iron clad horn, and Kabali-Bash Tielsemon: Hellfire Solo and Brimstone Axe Atistmon: Seed Shot, and Tree trunk Slam Vinedramon: Creeping Tail, Bark Bash, and Roar of the Jungle Sylvanusmon: IronWood barrier, Marching Roots, and Vine Shot Silcamon: Silca Slash, and Crystal shield Gneissmon: Quartz Chrusher, and Diamond Barrage Adamantimon: Diamond Storm(It makes more sense then on Renamon), diamond Dart, and Refracted View Spellmon: Effervescent Enamoring, Sparkle Storm, and Crystal clear ball Cephalomon: Tenta-Stretch, whirlpool Whip, and refreshing breeze Beuixmon: Shifting Tide, and Tempest Beam I really think it went well
I would argue you can actually fit a lot of children into Sephirotmon, as the anime demonstrated :P Wonderful designs tho, it's so fun to hear the reasoning behind them and how much thought you and the artists put into each of them. I especially love the reimagined water spirit ones!
The purified water spirit were brillaint, they're all beautiful, keeping with Ranamon's obsession with beauty and tying in really well with a lot of female water spirits like naiads, nirieds, nymphs, mermaid and such. Spellmon though was my favourite, she was adorable and tying in with another video, she does look like she could be a champion form to Jellymon. Also Adamantimon was awesome.
@@KudaGeatsune3821 Yeah pretty much. Ranamon looks pretty but her personality and way she acts make her ugly, which kinda comes through in Calamarimon. However, I think if a Ranamon was nice, they'd get a pretty digivolution like Mermaimon. Spellmon's line start adorable, but the covered face kinda makes me think about Ophanimon, who apparently covers her face because she's so pretty she's too distracting to be around (I do not remember where I heard / read this but it's something I remember, which is why I say apparently), Spellmon could cover her face because she doesn't care about being pretty, which makes her more endearing and adorable and it's why she gets nicer evos.
Cephalomon also reflects on Spellmon's kind heart and strength. She's very regal and elegant in comparison. Calmaramon represents the ugliness of Ranamon's soul. She hates this form because she not only loses her control of water and has to rely on more brute force attacks, but also her beauty in her human form. Whereas Cephalomon doesn't have this problem and maintains her aquatic control. She uses her magical and brute attacks in combination. I like to think Ranamon and Calmaramon could Hybrid evolve to Mermaimon. She has the beauty and cunning abilities of Ranamon, but also the strength of Calmaramon
Love this! Frontier is my second-favorite season (behind 02) and I firmly believe the four "evil" spirits deserved to go into the hands of the four other kids, just like this video has. Maybe if Frontier gets a remake or something, that can happen? Who knows.
YES! YES! YES! These "purified" Digimon Spirits look so GOOD! Also, I love that you gave them Hybrid forms because why shouldn't all the spirits have them.
7:02 id like to see more of these especially Silvanusmon's alternate hybrid, we can go over the top like ancientgreymon was by just utilizing every single weapon so it can still have the whole hat, shields, and bazookas

I love frontier it’s easily my favorite season there’s a fanfic where it’s essentially a sequel to frontier but it features all 10 kids together I highly recommend it
Great video! I‘ve got another idea: What if Zoe, J.P and Tommy got hybrid spirit evolution forms that do look like a mixture of both human and beast spirits (for example, daipenmon totally doesn‘t look like a fusion of chakmon and blizzarmon)
Too bad we never got to see that happen. We should've gotten Izumi being Jet Silphymon(hybrid evolution of Fairymon and Shutumon) during her fight with Cherubimon in protecting Ophanimon. She has Shutumon's blue hair, Fairymon's pink eyes(possible eye color hiding underneath that visor) and the combination of armor and jet. Tomoki becoming Vikemon during his fight with Arbormon would've made more sense because it's a combination of both Chakmon and Blizzardmon in one. Unfortunately, they gave that form to Gomamon as an alternate mega form to Marine Angemon and gave Tomoki: Daipenmon. Junpei becoming Rhino Kabuterimon would've made sense as well. They gave too much attention to Takuya and Koji, that I can agree upon
Love all the purified spirits. This reminded me of the water spirit fusion evolution I made called Sirenmon/Siremon, based on the modern mermaid like sirens. She looks like a normal human to make other Digimon let their guard down.
i was just re-watching Frontier and this was SOOOO satisfying to watch, especially Attismon, Vindramon and Syvanusmon are so well designed and integrated with the looks of the actual digi-spirit and the other warriors !!!! Props for that, keep up the good work
I like these takes on the spirits. It's very similar to your ranking system for armor digimon in the sense that they all still look like they could come from the respective spirits but in new creative ways
HLR and Dry never freaking miss, and the new boys did phenomenally too. Makes me feel less self conscious about not being able to perfectly get the digimon style with my designs, because seeing theirs made in a style closer to their own and still thinking they looked amazing puts that into perspective for me. Great work lads, lasses, and or wherever you sit upon that spectrum.
Oh WOW! These Are gorgeous. I personally was always enamoured by the Spirit of Steel (They still are my favourite). But damn the others look so amazing as well. You and your partners made me appreciate the Spirits of Earth. Very well done.
i’ve been binging your “what if” series and i just have to say that digimon fan artists never cease to amaze me, all of these designs are top notch and i’m so happy their art is being recognized
Now THIS is truly excellent. I adore the designs presented here as someone who is doing a similar project with the “Evil” Spirits turning good, just trying to put a story behind them. These are all excellent interpretations of what these Spirits would be like as good, and just seeing Frontier content in general makes my heart smile. Karn’s content already inspires to keep working on my own Digimon art, and this video in particular makes me want to keep working on my own Frontier Content! So thank you for that Karn. Also glad I’m not the only one who had the idea of have those 4 kids from that one episode of Frontier actually be the Chosen Children for the other 4 Spirits. Out of the ones presented…the Spirits of Water are easily my favorite. I love the re-interpretation of Ranamon and her abilities into that of a Water Witch/Mage. It works extremely well for a Good Spirit of Water. Thank you again Karn for the amazing content and keeping me going on my own Digimon Art.
Great work, I really like the Hybridform from Spirit of Water, also the Beastform, the idea of the Humanspirit is nice, but I like Ranamon more.^^ Also Beastform & Hybridform of Wood and the Beastform of Steel is great! (they are all great, but those named, are the best in my opinion)
Man I really like these! It made me like the spirits of steel, wood, and water more, cause before I was a little iffy on them to say the least! It also didn't hurt earth at all and I think it was a great purification! I'd have to say I think my favorite are the spirits of wood!
This is amazing. Oh and I'm starting to imagine you making videos for potential bio merges for seasons that aren't Tamers or Fronteir. Since it would be interesting to see what could be original alternate megas for certain seasons. For instance data squad having Bio Merge megas would actually make sense narratively. Of course, Marcus and his Agumon bio merging would just result in whatever digimon that Tai and his Agumkn would become even if it's a variant.
A Biomerge of Marcus and his Agumon would probably result a variation of the Agumon Bond of Courage. Maybe a more human looking Knight variation of ShineGreymon?
I loved the idea and also feel like we were robbed of having the 10 chosen children, I see them getting their digivices at the point in the story where originally the digitamas of the 4 spirits came to their aid, maybe now instead giving the children their new digivices, similar to how the darkness spirits gave Koichi his digivice. PD: I wasn't really feeling both the steel ones, while they're I felt like their design was a bit far from the original spirits unlike the other 3 sets.
These are really good! I had designed my own "purified" versions of the 4 villain spirits but I didn't make hybrid forms or change the human stage that drastically. My logic was that the 4 villains were manifested directly from the spirit's data by Cherubimon, (unlike the spirit of darkness which was fused to a human and corrupted in order to control him), so I reasoned if they _did_ join with a human's DNA then their first stage would only deviate juuuust enough to show more human features because they were already, in essence, the "pure" form of the spirit. The secondary stages, however, deviated slightly more and I had the steel and earth kids swapped around. Serious kudos to the artists! These commisions are incredible and show great talent and imagination!
Recently stumbled upon your channel, and have been bingeing a lot of your videos ever since! The combination of the amazing artwork with your extensive knowledge of digimon and the interesting backstories that are created are really, really entertaining! Easily the most in-depth and interesting digimon channel on youtube
The designs for the other four including beasts and fusions are very interesting. Love Futuremon, Silvanusmon, Taliesimon and Silicamon. I can see Adamantimon shooting spears from his body similar to Adamant Barrage from Inuyasha. Also Silvanusmon reminds me of Orisa from Overwatch.
The steel forms may not have adhered quite as strictly to the designs of the physical spirits as the other three sets did, but I LOVE Taliesimon's guitar having AncientWisemon on the head. It captures something that only Aldamon, Beowolfmon, and Rhihimon had before, having distinct elements of the ancient warrior they're modern reincarnations of.
The 4 kids were actualy supposed to take bigger part in with the evil 5 team. Vs good team. And show was suppose to get abit more darker like the tamers were. Which kinda makes sense. Sadly we only get barely few episodes with them.
Wow! These are probably the best ones I have ever seen! Every artist stuck perfectly to the theme, but incorporated their own styles with the task at hand! ❤
The odd part with Z spirits is the fact that they are 5 elements into 1, using 4 of them I guess to power the 1 up. Though i guess if we have Paidlra and Dinobeemon theres no reason the other spirits couldn't take priority, perhaps in different combinations either We know in the arrangements that we are given result in the 2 from the show Though swapping say 2 of the pairs around could cause the formation to shift enough for a different Element to take the spot light. If Kaiser Grey is Fire Wind Wood Ice Earth and MagnaGaruru is Light Dark Water Thunder Steel What if we swapped say Wind and Water? Wind Light Dark Thunder Steel Water Wood Ice Earth Fire I could see that resulting in something differnet. So yeah now that i think about it I coudl totally see Z spirits being justified simply by changing up the way in which the 10 elements are split up. plenty of ways to do Combinations of 5 to probably get all 10 their own seperate spread.
Unified spirits would be awesome, though it would really only work for Teppei and either Katsuharu or maybe Koichi (who would definitely be sort of a bridge between the og group and the new one, along with Tommy, with Koichi being connected to them by their spirits, while Tommy would be connected to them as humans). Also, the spirits of ice, thunder, and maybe wind, need new fusions. Their real ones don't really work. Edit: Attismon is my favorite, mainly because the spirits of wood were always the coolest imo.
These are wonderful designs. Bruixmon might be my favourite hybrid, Silicamon and Futuremon my favourite human spirit. Kabahmon and Cephalomon my preferred beasts.
Very awesome, gotta say.^^ Oh, here's another idea: How would the spirits and evolutions have been like, if the users of them were different genders? Like, female fire spirit users, or male wind spirit users, as examples.
i can see agnimon, lobomon, chakmon, mercuremon, and arbormon being female like mercuremon is pretty androgynous to begin with but female blitzmon, male fairymon, male ranamon, and female grottomon? idk man 🤣
@@doctordre005 You misunderstand. I mean completely new digimon, not just genderbent variants. Kinda like how he made new spirit statues to go with the evil versions of the good spirits.
This was a super cool concept! It makes me wonder tho, what would happen if other digi-destined teams used the spirits? Would say Tai or Davis turn into Agunimon if they used the spirit of fire or would it be something else?
Please do a part 3 to this, so we can see the Emperor Greymon, Magna Garurumon, and Susannomon forms as I am intrigued on how they will come out or changed the story in some way. Also the Water Spirit forms are my favorite. Also I felt this was going to happened in the show, but cut out of it as the Season was almost over, but would love a sequel to this series showing something like this or a what if season too

Ok. MY WHOLE LIFE I imagined these 4 kids to correspond to the spare 4 Legendary Warriors, so this video does make me quite happy. Also, AMAZING WORK FROM ALL THESE ARTISTS. However, I always pair the kids like this: Katsuharu (the leader of this group) - Steel Teppei - Earth Chaiki - Water Terou - Wood Based on aesthetic and personality rather than by name etymology, to me these are how these 4 should be matched. Now having expressed my decades long thoughts on this specific matter, I have to say the Wood, Earth and Water warriors designs are my favorites here. They look incredible!! Seriously, I've always thought designing digimons is super hard. Even more coming up with attacks and etymology. These artists make it look so easy😭 What a wonderful work, really. If I had to pick only one warrior as my favorite from these I think it would be the Wood one. All the designs are solid and I love that combined evolution. The Earth beast stirit though? Majestic, I love it. And the Water human spirit is so cute. Amazing work, great video👏👏👏👏👏
This is actually pretty cool. Them having more help would’ve made sense. Whoa these artists were really good. I like how this is connected to mythology. If this was real OMG… Susanomon would be in a difficult spot. Bruixmon looks like Aqua Lilthmon.
I honestly love this vid. I’m personally interested in what the “regular” fusion spirit forms would be. Considering the ancient descendants, it would be Wisemon, Volcamon, and mermaimon, but there’s no troy/troiamon, so there’s no modern ultimate option for wood.
These designs are awesome! Though when I first saw cephalomon (my favorite of the bunch) I was hoping for the Fusion to be like jetsilphymon, more armored and holding a weapon. My brain immediately went to Ammoknightmon like an Ammonite. Keep the see witch vibe, but give her a big spiral shell as a shield and a curled tentacle like a staff to fill a paladin motif. The sorceress spellmon learning to be a warrior as well.

These are just epic! I love them all and the amount of love and research that went into each one is amazing! Also side note, the last fusion form made me think of Ursula from Little mermaid and made me laugh and love it even more! All artist did a great job! And of course you did as well!
I had the idea in my head of what if the Digidestined at the beginning were given the other five spirits of Wood, Steel, Water, Earth, and Darkness instead, but not like these spirits shown in this video for Takuya, Kochi, JP, Tommy, and Zoe.
Definitely made me angry that Takuya pretty much told the bully kids to screw off! They were willing to fight against Lucemon which most people wouldn't do so it says a lot about their characters! I think the writers made this choice because they were either tired of told to wrap it up!
I remember getting excited thinking that those 4 kids that they found towards the end were going to get those spirits to bring back the 10 legendary warriors

2 years late but I found your channel and have been loving all these videos since I love digimon and have been trying to get back into the grove with trying to figure out the card game and finishing up cyber sleuth. Need to finish getting the rest of the shows on DVD for my collection. Frontier was my favorite right after Data Squad and I love how you guys went about for these designs. The artists you commissioned did an excellent job at these. I'm trying to design my own Digimon line that's similar to the Salamon line with the cats like Gatomon and Mikemon so I'm definitely gonna go follow these artists and use them as inspiration for drawing. I had just finished watching the one were the digidestined spirits got corrupted and now watched this one. Very good videos and I'm enjoying the rest of the videos you have as I catch up to watch them all.
When I was watching the episode where the four kids showed, I really thought they would be the new holders of the 4 corrupted digimon spirits but I'm so dissapointed when they just go home. I really like the designs I just wish they're canon.
1. There should be an animation of those purified transformations. 2. There should be hybrid evolutions of zoe, tommy, and the rest of the frontier digidestineds.
If you look at the personalities of the "Evil spirits" you could say in a way they were corrupted. All the artis did an awesome job, I love the design of Spellmon, and Cephalomon, not gonna lie I loved how cute Ranamon was, so I hated how ugly Calmaramon. Funny thing is I was sketching up some redesigns for Calmaramon but I don't think I could ever come up with something as cool.
My research from some years back also stated that Adamant was a material in Greek mythology, in particular, a type of indestructible stone, the scythes of the titan Kronos had heads made of the stone, shaped by his mother (Gaia, the spirit of the earth itself) and the knife Zeus used to cut his siblings from the stomach of Chronos, who was also his father, was also made from Adamant, also given to him by his grandmother (Gaia); you'll notice I named to titans that basically have the same name, sort of, their names sound the same, but Kronos was basically a primordial agricultural deity (a position basically later picked up by the Olympian deity Demeter) while Chronos was the lord of time and serves as the etymological origin for many of our time-based phrases and terms, and at some point between ancient Greece and the modern era the two were merged and amalgamated into one entity. Also, according to my research from way back when, Adamant was also an old name for diamonds, so diamond being part of the design of Digimon that has the word as part of its name makes even more sense.
These are SO good! Can they please be official? I would love to watch a season with these as the protagonists and the dark versions of the original as antagonists. Fantastic work!

This is laying the groundwork for an interesting what if scenario where the five main characters end up getting captured by Cerubymon evil mode and thus the owner of the dark spirits and the four other kids you mentioned find the other spirits and such.
I love every single one of these! My favorites are the water and the earth spirits. I can see Silcamon being more of an elegant warrior in stark comparison to how gnome-like Grumblemon was. Oh, these videos get the fanfiction brain going. Every time you do a video like this, I want to include it in my fanfiction to-be.

I like to think Ranamon and Calmaramon could Hybrid evolve to Mermaimon. She has the beauty and cunning abilities of Ranamon, but also the strength of Calmaramon
Love this! Frontier is my second-favorite season (behind 02) and I firmly believe the four "evil" spirits deserved to go into the hands of the four other kids, just like this video has. Maybe if Frontier gets a remake or something, that can happen? Who knows.

What if Zoe, J.P and Tommy got hybrid spirit evolution forms that do look like a mixture of both human and beast spirits (for example, daipenmon totally doesn‘t look like a fusion of chakmon and blizzarmon)
Too bad we never got to see that happen. We should've gotten Izumi being Jet Silphymon(hybrid evolution of Fairymon and Shutumon) during her fight with Cherubimon in protecting Ophanimon. She has Shutumon's blue hair, Fairymon's pink eyes(possible eye color hiding underneath that visor) and the combination of armor and jet.
Tomoki becoming Vikemon during his fight with Arbormon would've made more sense because it's a combination of both Chakmon and Blizzardmon in one. Unfortunately, they gave that form to Gomamon as an alternate mega form to Marine Angemon and gave Tomoki: Daipenmon.
Junpei becoming Rhino Kabuterimon would've made sense as well.
They gave too much attention to Takuya and Koji, that I can agree upon

This reminded me of the water spirit fusion evolution I made called Sirenmon/Siremon, based on the modern mermaid like sirens. She looks like a normal human to make other Digimon let their guard down.
i was just re-watching Frontier and this was SOOOO satisfying to watch, especially Attismon, Vindramon and Syvanusmon are so well designed and integrated with the looks of the actual digi-spirit and the other warriors !!!! Props for that, keep up the good work
I like these takes on the spirits. It's very similar to your ranking system for armor digimon in the sense that they all still look like they could come from the respective spirits but in new creative ways
HLR and Dry never freaking miss, and the new boys did phenomenally too. Makes me feel less self conscious about not being able to perfectly get the digimon style with my designs, because seeing theirs made in a style closer to their own and still thinking they looked amazing puts that into perspective for me.
Great work lads, lasses, and or wherever you sit upon that spectrum.

i’ve been binging your “what if” series and i just have to say that digimon fan artists never cease to amaze me, all of these designs are top notch and i’m so happy their art is being recognized
Now THIS is truly excellent. I adore the designs presented here as someone who is doing a similar project with the “Evil” Spirits turning good, just trying to put a story behind them. These are all excellent interpretations of what these Spirits would be like as good, and just seeing Frontier content in general makes my heart smile.
Karn’s content already inspires to keep working on my own Digimon art, and this video in particular makes me want to keep working on my own Frontier Content! So thank you for that Karn.
Also glad I’m not the only one who had the idea of have those 4 kids from that one episode of Frontier actually be the Chosen Children for the other 4 Spirits.
Out of the ones presented…the Spirits of Water are easily my favorite. I love the re-interpretation of Ranamon and her abilities into that of a Water Witch/Mage. It works extremely well for a Good Spirit of Water.

Man I really like these! It made me like the spirits of steel, wood, and water more, cause before I was a little iffy on them to say the least! It also didn't hurt earth at all and I think it was a great purification!

This is amazing. Oh and I'm starting to imagine you making videos for potential bio merges for seasons that aren't Tamers or Fronteir. Since it would be interesting to see what could be original alternate megas for certain seasons. For instance data squad having Bio Merge megas would actually make sense narratively. Of course, Marcus and his Agumon bio merging would just result in whatever digimon that Tai and his Agumkn would become even if it's a variant.

A Biomerge of Marcus and his Agumon would probably result a variation of the Agumon Bond of Courage. Maybe a more human looking Knight variation of ShineGreymon?
I loved the idea and also feel like we were robbed of having the 10 chosen children, I see them getting their digivices at the point in the story where originally the digitamas of the 4 spirits came to their aid, maybe now instead giving the children their new digivices, similar to how the darkness spirits gave Koichi his digivice.
PD: I wasn't really feeling both the steel ones, while they're I felt like their design was a bit far from the original spirits unlike the other 3 sets.

These are really good! I had designed my own "purified" versions of the 4 villain spirits but I didn't make hybrid forms or change the human stage that drastically. My logic was that the 4 villains were manifested directly from the spirit's data by Cherubimon, (unlike the spirit of darkness which was fused to a human and corrupted in order to control him), so I reasoned if they _did_ join with a human's DNA then their first stage would only deviate juuuust enough to show more human features because they were already, in essence, the "pure" form of the spirit. The secondary stages, however, deviated slightly more and I had the steel and earth kids swapped around.
Serious kudos to the artists! These commisions are incredible and show great talent and imagination!

The designs for the other four including beasts and fusions are very interesting. Love Futuremon, Silvanusmon, Taliesimon and Silicamon. I can see Adamantimon shooting spears from his body similar to Adamant Barrage from Inuyasha. Also Silvanusmon reminds me of Orisa from Overwatch.
The steel forms may not have adhered quite as strictly to the designs of the physical spirits as the other three sets did, but I LOVE Taliesimon's guitar having AncientWisemon on the head. It captures something that only Aldamon, Beowolfmon, and Rhihimon had before, having distinct elements of the ancient warrior they're modern reincarnations of.
The 4 kids were actualy supposed to take bigger part in with the evil 5 team. Vs good team. And show was suppose to get abit more darker like the tamers were. Which kinda makes sense. Sadly we only get barely few episodes with them.
I also love that Taliesimon’s axe has AncientWisemon on the head.

These look great! The Arbormon equivalent Was my favourite. Also Z spirits would be really interesting, maybe even for the other 4 frontier Kids
The odd part with Z spirits is the fact that they are 5 elements into 1, using 4 of them I guess to power the 1 up. Though i guess if we have Paidlra and Dinobeemon theres no reason the other spirits couldn't take priority, perhaps in different combinations either
We know in the arrangements that we are given result in the 2 from the show
Though swapping say 2 of the pairs around could cause the formation to shift enough for a different Element to take the spot light.

What if we swapped say Wind and Water?

I could see that resulting in something differnet. So yeah now that i think about it I coudl totally see Z spirits being justified simply by changing up the way in which the 10 elements are split up. plenty of ways to do Combinations of 5 to probably get all 10 their own seperate spread.
Unified spirits would be awesome, though it would really only work for Teppei and either Katsuharu or maybe Koichi (who would definitely be sort of a bridge between the og group and the new one, along with Tommy, with Koichi being connected to them by their spirits, while Tommy would be connected to them as humans). Also, the spirits of ice, thunder, and maybe wind, need new fusions. Their real ones don't really work.
Edit: Attismon is my favorite, mainly because the spirits of wood were always the coolest imo.
These are wonderful designs. Bruixmon might be my favourite hybrid, Silicamon and Futuremon my favourite human spirit. Kabahmon and Cephalomon my preferred beasts.

This was a super cool concept! It makes me wonder tho, what would happen if other digi-destined teams used the spirits? Would say Tai or Davis turn into Agunimon if they used the spirit of fire or would it be something else?
Please do a part 3 to this, so we can see the Emperor Greymon, Magna Garurumon, and Susannomon forms as I am intrigued on how they will come out or changed the story in some way. Also the Water Spirit forms are my favorite.
Also I felt this was going to happened in the show, but cut out of it as the Season was almost over, but would love a sequel to this series showing something like this or a what if season too

Ok. MY WHOLE LIFE I imagined these 4 kids to correspond to the spare 4 Legendary Warriors, so this video does make me quite happy. Also, AMAZING WORK FROM ALL THESE ARTISTS.
However, I always pair the kids like this:
Katsuharu (the leader of this group) - Steel
Teppei - Earth
Chaiki - Water
Terou - Wood
Based on aesthetic and personality rather than by name etymology, to me these are how these 4 should be matched.
Now having expressed my decades long thoughts on this specific matter, I have to say the Wood, Earth and Water warriors designs are my favorites here. They look incredible!! Seriously, I've always thought designing digimons is super hard. Even more coming up with attacks and etymology. These artists make it look so easy😭 What a wonderful work, really.
If I had to pick only one warrior as my favorite from these I think it would be the Wood one. All the designs are solid and I love that combined evolution. The Earth beast stirit though? Majestic, I love it. And the Water human spirit is so cute.

I honestly love this vid. I’m personally interested in what the “regular” fusion spirit forms would be. Considering the ancient descendants, it would be Wisemon, Volcamon, and mermaimon, but there’s no troy/troiamon, so there’s no modern ultimate option for wood.
These are all excellent! Adamantimon and Spellmon are my faves but they're all frickin awesome as usual.

These designs are awesome! Though when I first saw cephalomon (my favorite of the bunch) I was hoping for the Fusion to be like jetsilphymon, more armored and holding a weapon. My brain immediately went to Ammoknightmon like an Ammonite. Keep the see witch vibe, but give her a big spiral shell as a shield and a curled tentacle like a staff to fill a paladin motif. The sorceress spellmon learning to be a warrior as well.
Ammoknightmon for 10 Spirit Fusion of Water would be so good!

I had the idea in my head of what if the Digidestined at the beginning were given the other five spirits of Wood, Steel, Water, Earth, and Darkness instead, but not like these spirits shown in this video for Takuya, Kochi, JP, Tommy, and Zoe.

Definitely made me angry that Takuya pretty much told the bully kids to screw off! They were willing to fight against Lucemon which most people wouldn't do so it says a lot about their characters! I think the writers made this choice because they were either tired of told to wrap it up!

2 years late but I found your channel and have been loving all these videos since I love digimon and have been trying to get back into the grove with trying to figure out the card game and finishing up cyber sleuth. Need to finish getting the rest of the shows on DVD for my collection. Frontier was my favorite right after Data Squad and I love how you guys went about for these designs. The artists you commissioned did an excellent job at these. I'm trying to design my own Digimon line that's similar to the Salamon line with the cats like Gatomon and Mikemon so I'm definitely gonna go follow these artists and use them as inspiration for drawing. I had just finished watching the one were the digidestined spirits got corrupted and now watched this one. Very good videos and I'm enjoying the rest of the videos you have as I catch up to watch them all.
When I was watching the episode where the four kids showed, I really thought they would be the new holders of the 4 corrupted digimon spirits but I'm so dissapointed when they just go home. I really like the designs I just wish they're canon.
1. There should be an animation of those purified transformations.
2. There should be hybrid evolutions of zoe, tommy, and the rest of the frontier digidestineds.

If you look at the personalities of the "Evil spirits" you could say in a way they were corrupted. All the artis did an awesome job, I love the design of Spellmon, and Cephalomon, not gonna lie I loved how cute Ranamon was, so I hated how ugly Calmaramon.
Funny thing is I was sketching up some redesigns for Calmaramon but I don't think I could ever come up with something as cool.

My research from some years back also stated that Adamant was a material in Greek mythology, in particular, a type of indestructible stone, the scythes of the titan Kronos had heads made of the stone, shaped by his mother (Gaia, the spirit of the earth itself) and the knife Zeus used to cut his siblings from the stomach of Chronos, who was also his father, was also made from Adamant, also given to him by his grandmother (Gaia); you'll notice I named to titans that basically have the same name, sort of, their names sound the same, but Kronos was basically a primordial agricultural deity (a position basically later picked up by the Olympian deity Demeter) while Chronos was the lord of time and serves as the etymological origin for many of our time-based phrases and terms, and at some point between ancient Greece and the modern era the two were merged and amalgamated into one entity. Also, according to my research from way back when, Adamant was also an old name for diamonds, so diamond being part of the design of Digimon that has the word as part of its name makes even more sense.

This is laying the groundwork for an interesting what if scenario where the five main characters end up getting captured by Cerubymon evil mode and thus the owner of the dark spirits and the four other kids you mentioned find the other spirits and such.

I love every single one of these! My favorites are the water and the earth spirits. I can see Silcamon being more of an elegant warrior in stark comparison to how gnome-like Grumblemon was.
