I really like the idea of a "Digimon that should be spirits" video, but here's another idea: In Frontier it's implied that the corrupted spirits still have hosts, they're just being hosted by evil digimon instead of by humans. So a video idea (or even maybe a short, it depends) could be figuring out what digimon they originally were.
I honestly always thought the Evil Warriors, sans Duskmon for obvious reasons, were just the Spirits being given enough Code to become them. This is entirely because we see what happens when a Digimon gets one of the Spirits, that Shamamon in the Fire Beast episode, and when he was scanned and had the Spirit taken from him he was returned to normal. Contrast this to when the other Evil Warriors were scanned of all their Spirits and they just became Digitama.
@@TheParanoidLogician Them turning into digitama does offer up a... much more dark implication of what Cherubimon did. Technically, it would still work that he used other digimon to give the four their forms, but if those four still followed the same rules as the Shamamon did... Well either when each of the four got beaten they had been drained of o much energy that they didn't have anything left to keep together and thus because digitama, or Cherubimon literally used four unborn digimon as the 'cores' of the corrupted spirits.

@@caiusdrakegaming8087 in my mind they are just the spirits theemselves, without no one inside, so in other words they're just the armors or "suits" coming to life if you look at the digi spirits statues all of them have missing parts (except shutumon for some reason), but when the kids are using them they become full armors, but for ranamon, grottemon, arbormon, what yo see is what you get, they dont become more humanoid they stay with weird proportions
While Tinkermon is a great retroactive rookie for the Fairymon/Kazemon line, I feel like Morphomon could also work as well. With the entire "Spirit of Wind" line working as a counter to the Eosmon line. Going back to Tinkermon, it should also digivolve into Hudiemon.
That's kinda where I see it too, Frontier ostensibly doesn't really fit the "conventional" evolution style just like Xros Wars didn't, so I guess we gotta find a way to make it more clear cut, with some sacrifices or changes haha

I think a fun idea for a custom art video, or even a non-custom art video, would be "Light Evolutions" for notable villain digimon of different series You could either have them changed by "power of friendship" or just say that their rookie form was partnered with a child in a different continuity, and the child's digidestined-ness rubbed off on them Either way, I've always thought Keramon was weirdly cute, and id like to see what would happen to a "good" Keramon

Imo, another Rookie you could argue for Mercurymon is Monitamon since they're both weird green beings without a traditional face, yet are still highly expressive, and they both had skills of surveillance in their respective shows.

Please do the "Digimon that should be Spirit Digimon" video! I definitely prefer the human and beast spirits both being champions, although I personally am not a fan of DaiPenmon, JetSilphymon, and RhinoKabuterimon. But these are all fun!
Agreed I never been a fan of those three designs, that along with their being no unity forms for the rest I just prefer the Ancient warriors themselves as the megas, like they finally got their full power back and have returned by digivolving through the spirits like most normal Digimon.
@@Karn_EX Also would be really cool to see custom art for some of the other hybrids in the same style as Aldamon, BeoWolfmon and Rhihimon. All of those have clear features from both the human and beast forms merged together and then over in the ice element they merged a military ice bear and a viking beast and somehow made a cyborg penguin. Really missed out on a cool design. Same with merging a fairy with a bird-person and mixing two more mechanical-looking bugs and getting a more biological-looking one. The features even carry all the way up to AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon and AncientSphinxmon, so you could even make redesigns for some of the other Ancient Digimon if you wanted to that match the same look. If AncientGarurumon can get away with having a bunch of futuristic armor, then we can have an ancient mecha-bug, or at least a bug with mechanical-looking armor. In general it seems like the Ancient form pulls more from the beast form with some features of the human form while the Transcendent form (EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon) pulls more from the human form with some slight features of the beast form. Though Transcendent form tends to be a bit more unusual due to mixing in the other spirits. Well, really it just looks like MagnaGarurumon took some features from the Wind and Thunder spirits for the jet and guns and EmperorGreymon took some features from the Darkness spirit for the sword and the faces on the armor, maybe the Steel spirit as well? I guess it's kind of like an Omnimon Merciful Mode situation where it's supposedly a mix of all but you only get some added angel features, only visually representing two of the six additions. Just kinda funny MagnaGarurumon supposedly doesn't have the Wind spirit, but it has the whole jet theme and vice versa with EmperorGreymon and the Darkness spirit. Classic Digimon I guess.
Congrats on the new place. Hope your move wasn't too stressful. I didn't realize until this video how well Hydramon fit as a mega coming from Petaldramon. Having rewatched the show recently with my son I could definitely see a lot of these fitting right into the show. Seeing Grumblemon turn into a giant diamond beast I could especially see working, given what a powerful antagonist he is for so much of the show.

If I'm not mistaken, there was some sort of Mobile game where the Digimon from the Frontier series appeared in that game. And in that game, the Legendary Warriors, mainly the warriors of Fire, Light, Wind, Lightning, Ice and the purified version of Darkness, had a Digvolution Line.
Its kind of funny, their evolution lines only got confusing to me AFTER I finished the show and started looking towards the community and official sources like the card game. It made perfect sense to me that Agunimon was the champion, BurningGreymon was the ultimate, Aldomon was the mega, and KaiserGreymon was just the one step above a la Omnimon, Crimson mode, Burst mode. I don't understand how BurningGreymon and his equivalent for the rest of the pantheon isn't considered an ultimate.
If you look at Aldomon, it has features from both Agunimon and BurningGreymon, same for BeoWolfmon with Lobomon and KendoGarurumon, and same for Rhihimon with Loweemon and JagerLoweemon. It makes sense with the two forms being slide evolutions and then when going up to the next level having aspects of both forms. Unfortunately, as usual with Digimon the pattern/concept is only clear with the more important protagonist characters and then kinda goes out the window after that. But it is an interesting concept and it would've been cool if they had used that structure for the others rather than suddenly turning into a penguin cyborg or other such odd choices.
Some excellent suggestions! I’ve been trying to come up with branching Agumon-in-Survive-style lines inspired by the spirits and this video was actually a big help for some slots I was stumped on, like Duskmon lines (the Nidhoggmon choice was Galaxy-brained) and some megas for the ice spirits. And while I can be lukewarm on the Jellymon line, I freaking love Amphimon as a water spirit mega! Also Keramon and Duskmon are two of my favorite Digimon ever, so I love any excuse to use them both It’s a bit out there, but one choice for an Arbormon mega I like is Tlalocmon. My reasoning is a combination of it being based on a nature/earth/fertility god and that it Digivolves from Eldradimon, who reminds me of Petaldramon. Plus for whatever reason I always love it when an evolved form is smaller yet still stronger than its previous self

I’m not sure if this is something you are interested in, but I personally would like to see what your “perfect” season would look like, what partners you think would make good new partners, what the “gimmick” (crests, armor, spirits, card slash, etc) May be, things like that. 12:49 And this is why I love your content. For years I joked Frontier is the odd one out of all four OG Dubbed Continuities for not having a Leomon. Since Adventure / O2 had one, Tamers obviously had one and Saver had two for christ shake. But OMG Koichi as the Leomon of the season makes way to much sense!
I still think Dracmon makes a good Duskmon rookie with the eyes being a carrying factor. It is a shame Shamanmon's colors from the old Ps1 games didn't stick. Shamanmon was pretty much a brown Goblinmon in those days. I'm really sorta annoyed that variant is just gone now replaced with just a different green Goblinmon variant. The brown variant would make such a good Rookie for Gumblemon and Gigasmon.
Cthyllamon might also be a good final for Ranamon on the corrupted route. Brought on by her vanity could cause her to evolve into what could be considered the counterpart to Marineangemon in design. Honestly, just want to see it more. I love the creepy cute esthetic of it.
I like alot of these picks, Jellymon’s evo line basically being an alternate line for the water spirits is cool, except for the electric attacks instead of water based ones, almost like her line is a fusion of water and thunder spirits, maybe that could be its own video as well as digimon that could be spirit digimon too. Also because there isn’t a unity form for all the spirits and with how the ice, wind, and thunder united ones aren’t very good designs for them I feel I just go with human is Champion level, Beast is Ultimate, and the Ancient warriors being the Megas, Emperor Greymon and Magna Garurumon being Omnimon like level Megas, and Sasoonomon being the Ultra/Super Ultimate of all the megas combined like Omnimon Merciful Mode with all the adventure partners.
You can like or hate Frontier's concepts (I personally LOVE it), but what no one can deny is that it has hands down all in all the best Digimon designs out there!!
For the Wood spirit, it's a shame you didn't consider ENTMON! Funny he's the "rival" of Petaldramon in Adventure Reboot. BUT he also is the perfect Ultimate then to Hydramon. Also....Wisemon....to connect to AncientWisemon then have it be Metallomon. Also Elecmon (Violet) for Koiichi? Everything else is spot on for the most part.
I loved so many of these choices, with Metamormon being truly inspired!! My headcanon is kind of similar, but I have one really different choice I want to share, and that's for blitzmon. I admit I like Grandis here, I prefer it it as the dark mega for ShadowBlitzmon from the Sephirothmon arc more. So who's my mega for blitzmon? None other than Boltmon, of course. Before you reject this idea out of hand, let me explain: Blitzmon's evolution line up is kind of transforming the humanoid blitzmon into a bug. What this brings to mind for me is the 1986 body horror film "The Fly" and its inspiration "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. Both these stories sees humans transformed into flies in a surreal exploration of alienation from one's self and society, and if this doesn't fit JP and his journey in Frontier to a tee, I don't know what does. If transforming into a bug is a deepening of alienation, what then, would represent JP's journey through transformation and self-acceptance via body horror? Well, none other than horror's own classic hero of self acceptance, Frankenstein's monster himself. The electrictiy and return to a humanoid form are just perfect touches for me, and the reference images for Blitzmon and Boltmon even have the same general pose. There's more I could say here, but hopefully this has given some other foiks some enjoyment and/or inspiration for their own headcanons!
Karn have you seen the Digidestiny DnD campaign done by the Schmuck Squad They have Duskmon as a partner that digivolved from a Tamers inspired rendition of an Impmon
RhinoKabuterimon has never gotten enough love. Personally I feel like there are a ton of designs that are stuck in “Frontier Jail” and it is such a shame. Also, if digimon from Xros wars/fusion can get official levels then Frontier should too (I also understand the difficulty there) I just want justice for one of my favorite seasons!! 😭
I'm on the camp that thinks that only the darkness spirit was corrupted, because of the nature of darkness being used for good or for evil, while the other 4 are normal spirits possessed by evil/loyal digimon.
I dunno why, but as I was watching this, DarkKnightmon from Xros Wars sorta came to mind for a Digivolved Duskmon. Something about the armor sorta just made me think about that.

No matter what the fanbase or community says, i love frontier for doing something so different with the humans becoming the digimon. I used to fantasize as a kid becoming one as well in a game of pretend
When it comes to Grumblemon/Grottemon, I can definitely see Goblimon as the rookie, and Gigasmon as the ultimate. Also, if you do not want to use Blastmon as the mega, then PileVolcamon can be an alternate mega, due to it still being earth related, without using AncientVolcamon. As for Mercurymon, I can see Monitamon as the rookie, and Metamormon as the mega.
I know frontier never treated the spirits as levels but I always just viewed them as champion for human, ultimate for beast and fusion onwards were mega, that being said playing around with the levels was definitely fun. If you do use velgamon for the ultimate I always thought it works well as a saberdramon evolution or to a lesser extent a mailbirdramon one. Oh and that koichi bottom of the stairs joke👏👏👏
The Xros Wars Manga has more or less canonized Duskmon evoing into DarkKnightmon in my mind, with Bagramon (or hell, even DarknessBagramon) as the mega Though i do agree with your choice of rookie for it, Soundbirdmon could be another cool one (Eye Theme + Bird, tying into Velgr)
The way I see it, the Beast spirits are closer to being proper "Champion" stages, while the Human spirits are closer to "Armor" stages. The Hybrids are clearly Ultimates. The only trouble is, I see the Ancient Warriors as being a stage higher than a conventional Mega (like how Omnimon is listed as a Mega, but is FAR more powerful than a conventional Mega by virtue of being a DNA of 2 Megas). I feel similarly about the other Unity forms (EmperorGreymon & MagnaGarurumon). So I've never really had anything to fill the Mega stage slots for these lines in my headcanon.
Wasn't there a mobile digimon game that had a new digimon made to be the rookie and mega for all frontier spirits? I remember the water spirits mega being a beautiful mermaid, the wind spirit mega holding a giant pinwheel and the ice spirit mega being a penguin with 2 giant popsicles.

Abbadomon Core would be another fun mega for Duskmon, got the eye motif and the evil... weapon... mouth... hand things. Nidhoggmon though is a 😗👌 choice with Velgrmon.

Still really hope to see a “fixing” of Tommy’s, Zoey’s, and JP’s fusions that really follow Aldamon, Beowulfmon etc’s style to a T. I know Google helped me find some but more fanart and awareness of “proper” fusions is always welcome Would also like to see a video discussing Ultra level Digimon since I would want to see the level be a true successor to Mega throughout the franchise personally and more Digimon properly considered Ultra
General comment about Frontier after watching it recently with family. I see human and beast spirits as both champions - beast feels more powerful but are one note, whilst human are more versatile
I've always thought that Blastmon would have been the perfect Fusion spirit for Earth spirits! Great to see it included here! Personally I would have picked Apollomon as Agunimon's mega. For Mercuremon's Rookie and Mega I would go with Ludomon and probably Shakamon. The former is green and has shields and the latter is covered in gold, has wisdom close to that of AncientWisemon, uses non-straight forward attacks, and has spheres similar to Sephirothmon.
Or ranamon’s line could go jellymon to Ranamon/calamaramon to thetismon, and finally amphimon as the mega, I think thetismon works better than mermaimon in my opinion as the fusion spirit form.

Agreed I never been a fan of those three designs, that along with their being no unity forms for the rest I just prefer the Ancient warriors themselves as the megas, like they finally got their full power back and have returned by digivolving through the spirits like most normal Digimon.
@@Karn_EX Also would be really cool to see custom art for some of the other hybrids in the same style as Aldamon, BeoWolfmon and Rhihimon. All of those have clear features from both the human and beast forms merged together and then over in the ice element they merged a military ice bear and a viking beast and somehow made a cyborg penguin. Really missed out on a cool design. Same with merging a fairy with a bird-person and mixing two more mechanical-looking bugs and getting a more biological-looking one.
The features even carry all the way up to AncientGreymon, AncientGarurumon and AncientSphinxmon, so you could even make redesigns for some of the other Ancient Digimon if you wanted to that match the same look. If AncientGarurumon can get away with having a bunch of futuristic armor, then we can have an ancient mecha-bug, or at least a bug with mechanical-looking armor.
In general it seems like the Ancient form pulls more from the beast form with some features of the human form while the Transcendent form (EmperorGreymon and MagnaGarurumon) pulls more from the human form with some slight features of the beast form. Though Transcendent form tends to be a bit more unusual due to mixing in the other spirits. Well, really it just looks like MagnaGarurumon took some features from the Wind and Thunder spirits for the jet and guns and EmperorGreymon took some features from the Darkness spirit for the sword and the faces on the armor, maybe the Steel spirit as well? I guess it's kind of like an Omnimon Merciful Mode situation where it's supposedly a mix of all but you only get some added angel features, only visually representing two of the six additions. Just kinda funny MagnaGarurumon supposedly doesn't have the Wind spirit, but it has the whole jet theme and vice versa with EmperorGreymon and the Darkness spirit. Classic Digimon I guess.

I didn't realize until this video how well Hydramon fit as a mega coming from Petaldramon. Having rewatched the show recently with my son I could definitely see a lot of these fitting right into the show. Seeing Grumblemon turn into a giant diamond beast I could especially see working, given what a powerful antagonist he is for so much of the show.

If I'm not mistaken, there was some sort of Mobile game where the Digimon from the Frontier series appeared in that game. And in that game, the Legendary Warriors, mainly the warriors of Fire, Light, Wind, Lightning, Ice and the purified version of Darkness, had a Digvolution Line.
Nidhoggmon is also perfect as a Duskmon mega because it serves as a dark mirror to the Norse-themed Lobomon line
Its kind of funny, their evolution lines only got confusing to me AFTER I finished the show and started looking towards the community and official sources like the card game. It made perfect sense to me that Agunimon was the champion, BurningGreymon was the ultimate, Aldomon was the mega, and KaiserGreymon was just the one step above a la Omnimon, Crimson mode, Burst mode. I don't understand how BurningGreymon and his equivalent for the rest of the pantheon isn't considered an ultimate.
If you look at Aldomon, it has features from both Agunimon and BurningGreymon, same for BeoWolfmon with Lobomon and KendoGarurumon, and same for Rhihimon with Loweemon and JagerLoweemon. It makes sense with the two forms being slide evolutions and then when going up to the next level having aspects of both forms. Unfortunately, as usual with Digimon the pattern/concept is only clear with the more important protagonist characters and then kinda goes out the window after that. But it is an interesting concept and it would've been cool if they had used that structure for the others rather than suddenly turning into a penguin cyborg or other such odd choices.

Some excellent suggestions! I’ve been trying to come up with branching Agumon-in-Survive-style lines inspired by the spirits and this video was actually a big help for some slots I was stumped on, like Duskmon lines (the Nidhoggmon choice was Galaxy-brained) and some megas for the ice spirits. And while I can be lukewarm on the Jellymon line, I freaking love Amphimon as a water spirit mega! Also Keramon and Duskmon are two of my favorite Digimon ever, so I love any excuse to use them both
It’s a bit out there, but one choice for an Arbormon mega I like is Tlalocmon. My reasoning is a combination of it being based on a nature/earth/fertility god and that it Digivolves from Eldradimon, who reminds me of Petaldramon. Plus for whatever reason I always love it when an evolved form is smaller yet still stronger than its previous self

The bit about Zamielmon has got me thinking. Frontier showed that the kids could swap around spirits. Cross spirit fusions would be pretty cool.
I’m not sure if this is something you are interested in, but I personally would like to see what your “perfect” season would look like, what partners you think would make good new partners, what the “gimmick” (crests, armor, spirits, card slash, etc) May be, things like that. Full on fan fiction mode

12:49 And this is why I love your content. For years I joked Frontier is the odd one out of all four OG Dubbed Continuities for not having a Leomon. Since Adventure / O2 had one, Tamers obviously had one and Saver had two for christ shake. But OMG Koichi as the Leomon of the season makes way to much sense!
I love gazimon as a lowemon prevo, but if we're comparing koichi to leomon I would think VIOLET elecmon would fit fantastically as well
Human spirit = Champion | Beast Spirit = Ultimate | Hybrid spirit = Mega.
I still think Dracmon makes a good Duskmon rookie with the eyes being a carrying factor. It is a shame Shamanmon's colors from the old Ps1 games didn't stick. Shamanmon was pretty much a brown Goblinmon in those days. I'm really sorta annoyed that variant is just gone now replaced with just a different green Goblinmon variant. The brown variant would make such a good Rookie for Gumblemon and Gigasmon.
Cthyllamon might also be a good final for Ranamon on the corrupted route. Brought on by her vanity could cause her to evolve into what could be considered the counterpart to Marineangemon in design.
Honestly, just want to see it more. I love the creepy cute esthetic of it.

I like alot of these picks, Jellymon’s evo line basically being an alternate line for the water spirits is cool, except for the electric attacks instead of water based ones, almost like her line is a fusion of water and thunder spirits, maybe that could be its own video as well as digimon that could be spirit digimon too.
Also because there isn’t a unity form for all the spirits and with how the ice, wind, and thunder united ones aren’t very good designs for them I feel I just go with human is Champion level, Beast is Ultimate, and the Ancient warriors being the Megas, Emperor Greymon and Magna Garurumon being Omnimon like level Megas, and Sasoonomon being the Ultra/Super Ultimate of all the megas combined like Omnimon Merciful Mode with all the adventure partners.
It would be interesting to see the other 4 Double Spirit Evolution forms in Digimon Frontier
My personal favorite Duskkmon line focuses on the Eyes. Dracmon - Duskmon - DarKnightmon - Abbadamon Core

You can like or hate Frontier's concepts (I personally LOVE it), but what no one can deny is that it has hands down all in all the best Digimon designs out there!!
For the Wood spirit, it's a shame you didn't consider ENTMON! Funny he's the "rival" of Petaldramon in Adventure Reboot. BUT he also is the perfect Ultimate then to Hydramon. Also....Wisemon....to connect to AncientWisemon then have it be Metallomon. Also Elecmon (Violet) for Koiichi?
Everything else is spot on for the most part.
I loved so many of these choices, with Metamormon being truly inspired!!
My headcanon is kind of similar, but I have one really different choice I want to share, and that's for blitzmon. I admit I like Grandis here, I prefer it it as the dark mega for ShadowBlitzmon from the Sephirothmon arc more. So who's my mega for blitzmon? None other than Boltmon, of course.
Before you reject this idea out of hand, let me explain:
Blitzmon's evolution line up is kind of transforming the humanoid blitzmon into a bug. What this brings to mind for me is the 1986 body horror film "The Fly" and its inspiration "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka. Both these stories sees humans transformed into flies in a surreal exploration of alienation from one's self and society, and if this doesn't fit JP and his journey in Frontier to a tee, I don't know what does.
If transforming into a bug is a deepening of alienation, what then, would represent JP's journey through transformation and self-acceptance via body horror? Well, none other than horror's own classic hero of self acceptance, Frankenstein's monster himself. The electrictiy and return to a humanoid form are just perfect touches for me, and the reference images for Blitzmon and Boltmon even have the same general pose.
There's more I could say here, but hopefully this has given some other foiks some enjoyment and/or inspiration for their own headcanons!

RhinoKabuterimon has never gotten enough love. Personally I feel like there are a ton of designs that are stuck in “Frontier Jail” and it is such a shame. Also, if digimon from Xros wars/fusion can get official levels then Frontier should too (I also understand the difficulty there) I just want justice for one of my favorite seasons!! 😭

I'm on the camp that thinks that only the darkness spirit was corrupted, because of the nature of darkness being used for good or for evil, while the other 4 are normal spirits possessed by evil/loyal digimon.
I dunno why, but as I was watching this, DarkKnightmon from Xros Wars sorta came to mind for a Digivolved Duskmon. Something about the armor sorta just made me think about that.

No matter what the fanbase or community says, i love frontier for doing something so different with the humans becoming the digimon. I used to fantasize as a kid becoming one as well in a game of pretend
When it comes to Grumblemon/Grottemon, I can definitely see Goblimon as the rookie, and Gigasmon as the ultimate. Also, if you do not want to use Blastmon as the mega, then PileVolcamon can be an alternate mega, due to it still being earth related, without using AncientVolcamon.
As for Mercurymon, I can see Monitamon as the rookie, and Metamormon as the mega.
I know frontier never treated the spirits as levels but I always just viewed them as champion for human, ultimate for beast and fusion onwards were mega, that being said playing around with the levels was definitely fun.
If you do use velgamon for the ultimate I always thought it works well as a saberdramon evolution or to a lesser extent a mailbirdramon one.

The Xros Wars Manga has more or less canonized Duskmon evoing into DarkKnightmon in my mind, with Bagramon (or hell, even DarknessBagramon) as the mega
Though i do agree with your choice of rookie for it, Soundbirdmon could be another cool one (Eye Theme + Bird, tying into Velgr)
Maybe in your next video - you can beast and human spirit evolution for rest of them like beeltmon and so on.
The way I see it, the Beast spirits are closer to being proper "Champion" stages, while the Human spirits are closer to "Armor" stages. The Hybrids are clearly Ultimates. The only trouble is, I see the Ancient Warriors as being a stage higher than a conventional Mega (like how Omnimon is listed as a Mega, but is FAR more powerful than a conventional Mega by virtue of being a DNA of 2 Megas). I feel similarly about the other Unity forms (EmperorGreymon & MagnaGarurumon). So I've never really had anything to fill the Mega stage slots for these lines in my headcanon.

I remember the water spirits mega being a beautiful mermaid, the wind spirit mega holding a giant pinwheel and the ice spirit mega being a penguin with 2 giant popsicles.

Entmon's my first choice for the wood ultimate, very glad my suggestion of Bakomon from years ago payed off
For Duskmon, I use Dracmon as the Rookie and Ghoulmon as the Mega (but I treat the Beast spirit as the Ultimate since GG tended to).
Abbadomon Core would be another fun mega for Duskmon, got the eye motif and the evil... weapon... mouth... hand things. Nidhoggmon though is a 😗👌 choice with Velgrmon.
Idk why but something strange I think of is gesomon being a pre evo of calamrimon, I know it's really only cause squid but something about it makes sense to me

Still really hope to see a “fixing” of Tommy’s, Zoey’s, and JP’s fusions that really follow Aldamon, Beowulfmon etc’s style to a T. I know Google helped me find some but more fanart and awareness of “proper” fusions is always welcome

General comment about Frontier after watching it recently with family. I see human and beast spirits as both champions - beast feels more powerful but are one note, whilst human are more versatile

Personally I would have picked Apollomon as Agunimon's mega.
For Mercuremon's Rookie and Mega I would go with Ludomon and probably Shakamon. The former is green and has shields and the latter is covered in gold, has wisdom close to that of AncientWisemon, uses non-straight forward attacks, and has spheres similar to Sephirothmon.
Or ranamon’s line could go jellymon to Ranamon/calamaramon to thetismon, and finally amphimon as the mega, I think thetismon works better than mermaimon in my opinion as the fusion spirit form.
