  • Have you ever forgotten how to analyse your scuba diving cylinder for its contents? In this video I'll remind you just how you do it without wasting too much expensive gas. We use the Analox O2EII Nitrox Analyser and a Luxfer Ali80 cylinder filled with Nitrox 32
Oxygen levels must be monitored in order to avoid oxygen toxicity. Breathing too much Oxygen can have an effect on the Central Nervous System (CNS). It is essential to analyse your nitrox gas before using it, in order to ensure the gas mix is right, and to allow you to plan the depth, time and decompression stages during your dive.

Thanks for watching mate, problem is some will see that series as serious training and become a keyboard warrior so it’s not worth it

The only thing I would add as a gas blender, I will always write 33% and show them that it was 32.6% because if they decide to dive on a 1.6 PPo2, they would be be beyond their MOD of the .6 of o2

4:40 top tip print out your conversion chart and reduce the size so it fits inside the lid of your analyzer hard case. Plastic laminate the chart and double stick tape it to the inside of the box lid. Each time you analyze a tank you are a quick glance to confirm your MOD. Less task loading, searching for mobile and thumbing though thousands of photos in your album to find your chart or note. Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter
