I tried this recipe and the first batch was perfect but the second I wanted to make a large batch so I multiplied the recipe by 5 and I mixed half shea and half kokum butter and at the end I added some arrowroot powder to help with the greasy feeling and I don't know why buy the batter seized and the oil separated.. Any help or suggestions?

Thank you...you can try using mango butter or capuacu butter and yes you can certainly use e wax. I haven't tried it with this particular recipe but i have with others and it's nice. Texture might be a little different but give it a try. Thanks for watching 😊

I made this and i love it! The emulsifier i used was glycerol stearate & peg-100 stearate, so it's silky smooth

Using a stick blending for emulsions will give you the best result.

i used that but for some reason it wasnt stable, the oils separated after a bit.

Hi the usage rate of the preservative you choose should be listed on the package/bottle. You would need to follow the manufactures suggestion.

no you don't have too, you can customize it to fit your needs. ☺️
