I worked on a tv show with Sarah Jessica before she did SITC. The show was Equal Justice, and it was a total loser of a rip off of Law and Order and others like it, so boring to even film that I could barely keep my eyes open, but SJP was incredibly smart, friendly and easy going. She could memorize the script faster than anyone I've ever seen, and never seemed to lose her cool. I was really impressed as she wasn't the "star" in this at all, playing a kind of second fiddle character to Deborah Farentino, who was supposed to be the lead, but wasn't. Farentino was insecure, whiny and dull. That REALLY makes a difference when you're stuck on a set for months of long days. People who act like normal human beings are rare in LA, but Sarah was great. At the cast party at the end of the first season filming, she went around and thanked everyone for being there, the only person I've ever seen do that. Made an impression. I'm so glad she was the star of a hit show, she deserved it!
She was a much nicer person before getting involved with Broderick. He sucked her dry with his crap and she went into auto pilot train wreck mode ever since.
How about that Catch 38 episode when we learn Carrie is 38, but 4 years later during that first SATC movie she’s... 40 and on the cover of Vogue. And Samantha was “Forty f..ng five and have nothing to hide” in 2004, but turned 50 four years later.
Charlotte's wedding announcement also says she will be keeping her own name, but, as we know, she called herself Charlotte Goldenblatt after she married Harry.
I love this!! BTW...at the 10:16 time mark, the cell phone Samantha is talking on is a Motorola Timeport display/dummy phone. If you look real close you will notice there is no charging port on the bottom. I know this, because I worked at Verizon Wireless in NYC, HBO would borrow phones from time to time for the show. In fact....when HBO retuned this phone, I kept it. I still own it, and I guess Kim's finger prints are all over it for proof. LOL
Honorable mention: The scene in the first movie after Carrie leaves the library from the wedding and runs into Big. When she runs towards him right before she hits him, you can see the crowd just STARRING at them. There’s a HUGE crowd watching them film. I have never been unable to unsee that
That one is understandable. His car is going the wrong way. A limo going the other way comes to a screeching halt and a lady in a wedding gown runs out and smashes flowers over the guy's head. That would definitely get people's attention.
There was one episode where Carrie was watching TV and when she shuts it off you can see the entire film crew in the reflection. I'm not sure which episode it was but it was pretty weird.
In the first film, the teapot and bathroom door/walk in closet mistakes are impossible to unsee....once you've spotted them. Incredible they were not corrected.
In the Matthew Mcconaughey scene when he shouts "That's bullshit Carrie and you know it!" he points at her with his right hand in the shot facing Carrie, but his left hand in the one facing him.
I love this. I’ve spotted some more mistakes: 1. The New Yankee reappears in the Ep. where Mr. down under takes out carry out on a date. He is the “other handsome gay man” massaging her gay date. 2. In the Ick Factor episode when Carrie tells the girls about the song Aleks has composed for her “the woman with the luminous, shining, sparkling eyes” and they say “that is the cheesiest thing i’ve ever heard, ick” and Carrie says again: and it had a name “ la femme avec le yeux luminous”. So it’s again the same thing. But i don’t know if this is editing mistake or some other kind of mistake. 3. When Carry and Miranda spot Aidan and Steve having beers and they hide and there’s many people specially girls weirded out laughing at the camera’s when they are going to step out of the building. 4. When Harry walks in on Charlotte trying her wedding gown and she screams on Anthony’s ear, but he covers the other ear instead. Will watch the whole thing again and come back with more :P

Personally, I think that a TV series like "Sex and the City" with its own set of mistakes and/or continuity errors shows that it is like other TV shows: They are not perfect at all and only the editor(s) often make mistakes in the end.
Timing of the Aiden breakup doesn't make sense either. When Carrie is talking with Burger, she says they broke up "last year." Then on her first date with Burger she runs into Aiden and he has a child and is already married. So in about 12-18 months, he's dated Nina Katz, dated, got engaged, and got married to his furniture-designer wife, conceived and grew a child that was about 6+ months old?
I have always noticed that. And even worst in AJLT. That baby is now 20 and Brady 18. When Carrie and Aiden broke up the night of the party, Miranda was already pregnant (~5 months)
Ok Tate is the baby Aidan is carrying at the end of the series. Then when they meet in Abu Dhabi she learns Aidan has three boys. Wyatt is 15 in AJLT. BUT your original observation is true, how the heck did Aidan manage to meet his wife get married have a baby and that baby is like 6 months old when she runs into him. How did that happen?
How Carrie keeps mentioning her parents but we later found out Dad left before she could remember…also it’s so funny about Steve’s puppy. That’s actually why it’s hard to shoot with puppies. They grow way to fast and reshoots for animals with markings become nightmarish
In Season 6, episode 9 “A Woman's Right to Shoes”, Carrie and Stanford were invited to the baby shower of baby Bronson. However, towards the end of the episode when Carrie receives her shoes from her friend Kyra (from her registry with Manolo Blahnik), the card that comes with it was signed off with baby Henry (not Bronson).

The snakeskin tube top she wore to the party in the Hamptons the first time she saw Big with Natasha made another appearance. She's wearing it under her robe when she gets to the invitation to their wedding.

Their last name is Bronson. When a baby is born they just put “baby boy/girl last name” on the bassinet until the parents sign the birth certificate.
