I liked how her relationship to the Russian in Paris hinted at what it would have been like if she had chosen to follow Big to Paris in season 2 (her being primarily alone and her feelings dismissed by her boyfriend). I know they wanted to show how Big was finally ready to truly commit to Carrie (which he was incapable of doing in season 2) but I still wish the series ended with her friends coming to Paris to bring her home and reinforcing how her friends were her true soulmates.
Carrie still doesn’t deserve Aiden after what happened she cheated on him with Mr. big and not to mention. He also cheated on his wife Natasha and that was a pretty ugly relationship. It was too much for them. But I can’t wait for season three just like that but I’m so excited.
Shocking moment Carrie realizing she spent over $40,000 on designer shoes and then shaming Charlotte into GIVING her the money for a down payment on her apartment (she never paid her back).
@@icedcoffee40179”you just compared your relationship to cancer.” She shouldn’t have to stay with him just because he was there through her sickness. She tried and was in a long term relationship with him for a long time, but she wasn’t happy and ultimately did what was best for her.
Carrie is so self absorbed that she insists on making the day her best friend gets engaged the day she was dumped by a post it note. Barely any acknowledgement of Charlotte's happiness.
Big wasn’t a villain. He was a man after a failed marriage and countless dates who knew when he was and wasn’t ready to move. Carrie couldn’t accept that and took the punches involved to continue to be in his life. But she cried about it along the way.

one thing i didnt like from carrie was when in And Just Like That she broke up with that guy who working in that start up. Like his job, his career, whatever he was doing wasn't important if she wasn't being prioritized.
I was the same age as the girls when the show aired. It continually blows my mind how sensitive people are to the show now. Back then it was just funny and sometimes you could relate to the story line. When I watch a show from the past, I keep in mind what was going on at the time.
I watched all 6 Seasons and 2 movies. I grew to see Carrie as completely self absorbed and Samantha absolutely the best, most loyal friend. However, never for one minute did I ever feel that Carrie belonged with anyone but Big! So much so, that when he died in AJLT, I refused to watch.
What I dom't understand about the fans of this show is how much they hate and antagonize Carrie. Like, yes she has many flaws, she is egocentric and most of the time she makes the wrong choice - but she is the personification of the human being these days - if there is a more relatable character it is her. Although my favorite character is Samantha, the show wouldn't be the same without Carrie. And one thing that Carrie has better than the other characters is fashion sense - her outfits are always exuberant and extraordinary.
I agree - she's just a human being and that's why the show is interesting. But I think her fashion sense was sometimes too much - some of her outfits were just ugly. I think Samantha's outfits were the best
Samantha's cancer story is one of the best in ypthis show. It shows cancer can happen to anyone at any ageand often bery unexpectedly. The way Samanth handle ed itn was great
Carrie and Aidan were doomed from the start imo. Big manipulated and played so many games with Carrie that she was damaged goods by the time she got to Aidan and since she thrived off of drama and there was none with Aidan she had to go out of her way to self sabotage the only decent relationship she was in throughout the whole series.
This was one of my favorites shows and now it's one of the worst things that I have ever seen. Hated the choices that the writers made it about some characters. And Carrie is one of the worst protagonists in the history of tv

When Carrie got caught in Bigs apartment by Natasha and Natasha fell and lost a tooth 😱😱😱

When Natasha busts her face in the stairwell.. I was horrified. Poor thing just busted Carrie in her place, then she busted her face. 😢😮
yes yes yes! that is the one for me too!
I felt so bad for her 😢😢

Carrie's golden shower politician!

That's an interesting perspective. The problem was Carrie's expectations, really
well, he could be more upfront about it
Aiden was WAY too patient with Carrie... the more i watch,,the more i see Carrie as a narcissist 😮
