Maybe the white/ beige was also to symbolize that she was "the good one" versus Carrie, who was the "homewrecker" in the scenario.

Waiting six season just to find out Big’s name is “John” was a bit underwhelming. I guess any name wouldn’t have really lived up to the hype…but “John” especially didn’t lol.

But they do reveal Bigs name! In the episode where Carrie gets caught in the apartment Natasha comes home and calls out “John?”
Dr.G, carries therapist is also present in the episode where the girls go to a baby shower in CT. Dr.G is one of the guests.
I’m sad that the ladies weren’t all best friends in real life. Especially Sarah and kim😢they sure were good actors tho.
I knew they weren’t friends after the show ended, but I never knew the mess was going on during filming. That does make me appreciate how good an actor Kim is because she really seemed like she liked “Carrie”.
According to Wikipedia, 'The Good Fight' was first broadcast in January 2002, by which time of course, the Twin Towers no longer existed. If the episode was filmed before 9/11 then they would have been edited out of the Samantha/Richard pool scene to reflect the fact that they were gone by the time of broadcast, and to avoid the insensitivity of them still being in the background.
I didn't watched SATC season 1.....EVER so when I bought my first SATC DVDs and watched it on our DVD player, I was perplexed at the breaking the 4th wall moments....until now while re-watching season 1 on streaming service
Also, Samantha did talk about her family. In that episode where she gets the flu, she says " At my age, my mother was settled with three kids and a drunk husband." They all really didn't talk about their families much, though. That is true. Charlotte talks about her family being good runners because they don't talk about their feelings. And Carrie talks about her deadbeat father. We see very little of Miranda's family outside of that funeral. But they are each other's best friends, and they are their own family. I like that!

Ok most shows don't repeat outfits
I worked at Victoria’s Secret in 5th avenue one day where SJP came in to warm up while filming. She was so kind. I asked her where those sneakers came from… She didn’t know. I made it my mission to find them and I did. I might wear them tomorrow. I still have them. Haven’t worn them for years. Red and blue Nikes from season 2.

Carrie wore a beige/nude color dress in which Big referred to as “interesting dress”. She wore that in her first date with Big. And marries him in a same color dress. From first date to eternity in a beige dress. It’s also the color he got sick of with Natasha.
I just watched that episode last night. Because of that dress, Carrie and Big did it on their first date
Her wedding suit was more of a silvery off white, it’s not beige.

I can honestly say, it’s only a couple outfits Carrie wore that I didn’t like. Almost all her outfits were fly ❤❤❤

One other detail is that Carrie was the only who never had a topless scene, because SJP had a no nudity clause in her contract. The other actresses didn't, and they shot a few scenes bare-chested. (iirc Kristin Davis/Charlotte only did it once during the Fleet Week episode.)

I was gong to say that, but I thought it was only twice - when she met Aidan and when she met Charlotte for lunch in S3 Episode 3. I'll have to keep and eye out next time I binge watch😊
I lived in Scotland, I noticed the music at Charlotte's wedding but I must admit I thought it was due to lack of cultural knowledge rather than a deliberate choice

I had noticed that too. She wore different blouses. She had that skirt when she met Trey after Fallon on the street.
She wears the fur coat on season 3 too, when the politician is waiting outside her apartment.
#13 about men taking the back seat isn’t 100% accurate. One of my biggest gripes of the season are so many of the women in the show, Carrie’s publisher, Heather Graham/Nina, Enid, and Carrie herself have very cringey lines about how desperate they are for a man. For only being 8 episodes it happens a heck of a lot that season.
We also met Charlotte's brother, who had a fling with Samantha, and we found out that Samantha's had had several children before reaching her ( Samantha's) age. Plus, I think Carrie referenced her sister too.
Aiden was right: Carrie didn't want to marry HIM....because he wasn't Big.
The song being played at Charlotte's wedding is NOT a funeral dirge. It is Scotland the Brave; the National Anthem of Scotland,

She also wore it around her apartment. I specifically remember her wearing it when Big sent her birthday flowers during season 2.

I absolutely loved everything about SATC the 4 girls firm friendships, their individual beauty their clothes the gorgeous men and the shoes really everything!

Season 5 was when the show went bad. It kinda made me hate SJP. She wanted more power instead of just acting and then it became dull. I hated the haircut. It was downhill from there.
What was the hair style change please? I didn't like it when it was cut to chin length or when she wore the long extensions I loved the flowing blonde long style😊

I watched this show only for the outfits because the message was empty; sometimes bored. too much pornography., that I need to forward many times. I watched it for the first time this year in June. "Just like that" of course will be the same and worst.
