    Hey Patrick, I've been a stand up comedian, a TV presenter/reporter and Emcee for countless events and your point about envisioning the thing you're saying really hit me! Had never heard it put like that before and it's so true. Thanks so much!

    Great Info, Or maybe also helpful to create a script using Ms powerpoint, then use the existing ppt slides in a prompter. some kind of avoiding memorizing the script very helpful.

    Very helpful tips, Thank you Patrick! what do you think about using slides with bullet points structure in a prompter, would it be a good option to sound natural as I have my concept in front of camera and therefore I don't have to follow word for word?.

    • @pmz
      @pmz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, @Kendrick Lincolin - having notes in billet point form is a terrific way to stay on topic, keep it structured and allow you to speak freely.

    Great review.
    What if I use PPT Mirror tool features that allows me convert my own Powerpoint slides and use them as a teleprompter software, Would it be a better option to boost up the naturalness in front of camera than using apps that forces me to follow word for word?.

    • @pmz
      @pmz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Shannon Nyadziko, try both methods and see which one works best for you you. If you practice a few times beforehand, then I would recommend using the slides and speaking more free form. You’ll feel looser and sound much more natural.

    • @shannonnyadziko2186
      @shannonnyadziko2186 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pmz , I heard people talk highly about PPT Mirror, so I will definitely go for slides with bullet points to keep my conversation on target and my main goal is to keep my speech & presentation to more natural so the slides option is the key, thank you.

    Hi Patrick,
    Thank you for the info, I use Powerpoint in prompter using ppt-mirror.com tool to mirror-flip slides my speech remains natural because the tool does not force me to read word for word which is easy for me to look directly into the camera and keep eye contact with audience without a worry of going-off script because I always have concept in mind and focus on bullet points. What do you think?.

    • @pmz
      @pmz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perfect! Once you’re comfortable with the teleprompter, you’re way ahead of the game. That’s terrific that you’re making it your own!

  • @mistervacation23

    I don't believe that I have the capability of being able to couch anything in a vernacular that's going to be understood by the people that you want me to talk to. I got to read it again because my mind is just a piece of shit this morning.

    Would this option lead my speech to more natural, if I use powerpoint in a teleprompter?

    • @pmz
      @pmz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Adnan Alishah - an image is a picture you imagine and see. If you were describing something peaceful and relaxing, you might imagine a picture of yourself relaxing on vacation in some beautiful place. An image is simply something you see that can naturally bring feeling to what you’re saying or describing. SEE what it is you’re talking about. Let me know if that helps!
