Luis Pina I prefer the size of the x-box one controller but the feel and comfort of the ps4 controller so hopefully this will be great
As a Playstation fan, When I tried the Xbox One controller for the first time, the way the thumbsticks feels are very comfortable for me (Although, it also took me a while to get used to the thumbsticks layout. lol).
If the PS5 controller has the same grip as the Xbox's then I'll just wait for the PS5 controller to be sold separately instead.

Is this a sponsored video? seems like it. Scuf controllers suck, I purchased a controller from them, and the trigger buttons were disabled, they wanted me to pay more for them to enable the trigger buttons to work, total ripoff.

I stopped focusing on what the guy was saying, and started to just hate the background music so much, that i was begging for it to stop.
His taste of music is horrifying
So the PS5 just revealed their ultra sleek new controller, and I have to say, it looks really good! HOWEVER, I love that some of the controllers on this list allow for customizable setups and button layouts, which are especially helpful if you play FPS and fighting games. I love the c40 and one highlight is the software. The button remapping and trigger stops are amazing. I move to a lot of rpg and FPS and the joy of doing asymmetrical and going ps4 layout are wicked. Buttons are smooth for fighting games.

I would say button mapping is a selling point since any controller can do it via the accessibility menu of the console: Setting/Accessibility/Button Assignements

I've had a Scuf Vantage 2 for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love it. I only ever had one Razer Rainy controller and it lasted about 2 months and then started having issues.

My favourite is the Kingdom Hearts 3 one that came with the customised PS4 last year.
Scuf controllers break often. I have a pro gamer friend and in a year he's had to send it back once and buy a new one entirely. He said it's great for the first 3 months but nothing but problems after that. Read reviews carefully before you drop 200 bucks
I bought a Scuf Impact controller and 100% regret it. Already discoloring, right thumbstick pad is already worn down, left trigger snapped, and random disconnects from PS4 and PC after not even two months of ownership. Never again. DualShock4 for life.

Best in my opinion is the astro c40. You can choose an Xbox or ps4 layout and every scuf controller I’ve ever had has only lasted 6 months to a year until the back paddle buttons give out.
So what you’re trying to tell me is the best PS4 controllers are just copy paste Xbox controllers?

I personally have the Astro C40 TR and its hands down the best controller i e played with. Had it about a year and upgraded the stick modules to extreme tension battle beaver customs and the thing works like a charm. Also has a built in amp for your headphones you can adjust on a computer and customize the sensitivity accurately and a very easy calibration setup. Its heavy but i like that it doesn’t feel like I’ll break it when i rage quit. I would recommend it. I cant stand the standard controllers after i got this. Just be prepared to spend MONEY. After the custom modules and backups i ordered it’s costing me around 280 usd. But i game A LOT so to me it was worth it. I got tired or spending $60 a month for a new controller due to analog drift. And in the long run this controller def. did the trick.
After a whole year I still haven't managed to fix the sensitivity of the God forsaken Nacon Rev 2 and Razer Raiju is broken to a fundamental level that most of its products have to be returned to the manufacturer, the Ultimate Edition is no exception. Both Razers have massive stick drift that can make your aim jump all over the place when playing FPS.

I’ve heard the number 1 pick isn’t very good
The Nacon revolution 3 and unlimited look ideal for me, not just for FPSs, but games in general. My hands are big, and I find the DualShock is too small, leaving my ring and pinky fingers dangling off of the handles and gives me no grip. The thrust master looks cool too, but it’s more expensive and I’ve seen divisive reviews for it.

I can vouch for the Hori Fps Plus. It is a good budget controller, that is if you don't mind a wired controller and no vibrate.

I do think that FPS games will implement native support for motion controlled gamepads so that they become able to aim by moving the camera with the controller just like Splatoon does.

I will say the Nacon is an amazing controller but after a few months of use the l2 button popped right out of the socket and alot of others are saying that. Just a heads up

Best bet is to replace the Ds4 sticks with xbox sticks for better grip. Or use a converter to use a xbox controller on ps4.
Yeeeah, I'll stick with my Razor Raiju Ultimate. That offset on most of those controllers, in my opinion, is dumb as hell. Just go get an Xbox controller and use whatever 3rd party adapter there is available.

Yep offset is uncomfortable. Plus Scuf makes a crap product now. I used to stand by them but man did their quality go down. I received 2 back to back DOA. Never dealing with them again.

What controller do you recomend for a grown up with small hands? I play alot of schooters like cod and destiny so I use the backpaddels alot. The regular ps4 fits perfectly but I tried the nacon when it first came out and it feld to big for my hands tbh. I currently have a scuf infinity and tbh for the price I had to pay the hardware quality is terrible. Im at my 3th pair of joysticks and triggers in less then 2 years + It wont charge anymore.

"A" symmetrical joystick controllers are trash, it's the main reason I can't play Xbox, same with those shitty solid D pads. Each direction should be its own button for ease of precision, and yes I play many fighting games online with that D pad

And while my scuff was being shipped, i was told to keep pressing l3 rlly quick and move it around
It kinda worked but then after a few games i had to repeat the process

That's because the Dualshock 4 is too small for some players' hands, so a controller that fits larger hands better is more suited for those who want it. I personally think the DS4 is just fine, but ergonomics is kind of hit or miss in that way

@@Toxicsniper-cr8ud all depends, most people ive met with larger hands say it's too small - the xbox controller is designed to meet a range of hand size percentiles at the large end at the expense of smaller ones. No two peoples hands are the same it will vary though

All these controllers have build quality issues, especially Scuff and Nacon.
I have 3 ps4 controllers and had no issues.
I've had issues with one of my standard ps4 controllers joysticks after about 3 years of use. But I have gotta say, the Astro C40 is amazing, despite being around $200. The best feature is that you can switch the d-pad and the left stick as well as programming the back buttons, especially for shooters. Like, I have one this is for either melee or sprint function and I always have the other for a quick reload. Not to mention the material they use for the grips is far more comfortable than the hard plastic of the standard. But I guess, to each his own.
@@dedcaesar2325 I could not validate spending that much. I have the back paddle add on for ps4 controllers and its a great idea and the only reason I'd get a pro controller. Only issue is I have to think about using it, so half the time I'm not using it, and the other half it takes me longer because I have to think about doing it.
And despite all this, the wiiU pro controller still has 70 hour battery life
No analog triggers and best of both stick placements
I have long thumbs so the analog sticks at the top are VERY comfortable to me
@@ctrl_audio5351 dualshock 4 is also a great controller, good for retro games like super mario world or crash bandicoot, or even undertale if you set the dpad to the arrow keys
They should've added "controllers" like hori adapters or something else similar which games like r6 allow that give other players advantage over real controller players
Nacon is great but unfortunately the sticks are bit slippy but overall amazing for xbox gamers trying our ps4

I’m all for variety for gamers, but I’m not a huge fan of asymmetric joysticks for shooters. You gotta remember the original design for asymmetry was for platform and fighting games where one thumb would be on the left joystick and the other on the right buttons where both thumbs would be in the neutral position for those types of games. Having said that, shooters require you to use both joysticks and a lot of controllers have removed the need to lift your thumb to press buttons meaning symmetrical controllers might be better. My hands don’t have differences in shape or size so I would rather have the same grip and positioning on both sides even if one stick placement is not in the neutral position. Then again, whatever you grew up with might be your preference so I was glad to see a couple asymmetric designs for those who want it. But, with more than half the list being like that, I felt like I needed to say something since this video is targeted for PlayStation users where the joysticks are generally symmetric.
I'd sooner trust a regular joe youtuber than a sponsored one for purchases.

Can't wait for Astros take on the Dualsense. I love my C40 TR bc it's the closest I can get to an Xbox One controller while on PlayStation. Not to mention it looks pretty dope too with all of my favorite colors. My only gripe is the lack of a battery indicator, not being able to turn off the back buttons and the LED light doesn't react like the light bar on the Dualshock 4. Also heard the thumbsticks were sensitive, which is bad considering the retail value of the controller, but knock on wood
I have the Nacon revolution unlinited and I do enjoy it despite that I don't like Xbox controllers, but it doesn't really feel like one :). Just wish I had a pc so I can make some presets lol. I usually end up changing the width of the sticks depending if I'm playing a shooter or not and extra customization. I do find one my normal ps4 controller I almost like to death grip the right analog stick and pushing it all the way instead of learning to control it properly

I have a Scuf Vantage 2 its ok best controller for PC though, with mods of course ~ 😂
I bought a razer raiju controller mainly because scufs are not only very expensive but cost even more if you don't live in America. I loved the raiju until the horrible stick drift occurred which is still a problem today from what I've heard.
I want a ps4 controller that’s the exact same shape and feels the same way with the same triggers (I love the triggers) but just switch the d pad with the left stick
