It referes to japanese meaning of these symbols. Some time ago function of O and X was unified all over the world, taking away japanese original meaning.

I was skeptical about the dualsense at first, but after getting a PS5 i've quickly become to favor it over any other controller i've ever used. the streamlined handles that are decreased in size allow for easier grip, and the bumpers being twice the size of the usual bumpers make it much easier for me to play claw grip, as before my fingers would often slip off the DS4 bumpers. And all while sticking to the playstation controller fundamentals everybody knows? all around amazing
Yeah I was skeptical until I played Astro Playroom and Returnal. Feeling the rain was incredible. Using the triggers in Returnal was mind boggling. I cannot wait to see PS5 exclusives start using these features more now that the cross gen era is ending.
6:22 Same mechanic with the Boomerang Flower in Mario Kart 8, but it could also hit another racer and cause them to spin out, and lose 3 coins if they're holding some. You could also throw it three times.
I can imagine several ways of improvement 1) They can separate hands (which they already do with PSVR) and thus allow for free hand movement. 2)They could also replace buttons with advanced haptic feedback, which could allow for different button layout configurations and improve reliability by removing moving parts of physical buttons (although not sure how durable are advanced haptic feedback units). 3) They could make the controller shape adaptable (imagine gloves). 4) They could add space detection cameras (like in selfdriving cars) to further improve on gyro capabilities of position detection and movement in space.
