I think the design of rogue like this shows how the ac games would look like from the pov of templars or normal people, with assassins lurking in bushes, corners and roofs and them supporting gangs. All the chaos and criminal activities undertaken when liberating cities from templars in other games would seem a lot less cool and a lot more stressful and terrfying.
dude youre point on gangs is bolstered by the fact that in ac syndicate you follow jacob and evie recruiting people for *gangs*. and this game came out years before syndicate--it literally connects so thematically well.
i picked up this game this month and finished it. I liked it
I always thought it would be very cool if the explanation for finding all the collectibles around the map was Shay searching for the Precursor Box, and maybe getting them all is a prerequisite to playing the final mission in the game, Arkham Knight style. Just my little head cannon ig 🤷♂️
That would be really cool if we got some kind of end mission with the box once you 100% the map, or even each region
@@willismakesmovies yeah that would be very cool, there is literally so much they could’ve added to this game, a mission like that could’ve easily been some kind of DLC if it only was given the time it deserved.
What I love about this game is they took things from previous games and tweaked it to not only fit the game but improve it so its almost like the best of xbox 360/ ps3 generation ac games, great vid much love

Rogue has always been one of my faves, despite its brevity
I don't mean to be pedantic, but those are not actually penguins. They are, in fact, an now-extinct (penguin adjacent) flightless bird called Great Auks, that died out in the 19th century.
I always get disappointed when I learn about another extinct animal. It’s always, “We killed almost all this kind so let’s kill the rest for a higher price.”

Yeah I think the did the jumpscares and stealth part really well but the hidden blade doesn’t kill you in one hit which I think would make the consequences of countering them bigger
