If running it at 1 ohm, you’d want a “big 3” and AGM battery at least. At 2 ohms or 4 ohms you wouldn’t need the upgrades. Anything over 1000 watts would benefit from an upgraded alternator, even if just a little bit.
Personally speaking, I have the WA-2K running at 1 ohm on 2 12" Diamond Audio MK-6 D4's , using 4 gauge power and ground ( around 15ft power run), with the stock 110amp alternator and a Group 94R AGM battery. Getting down with it, voltage will drop to the high 10's (not good) @ 2000rpm. I would highly suggest upgrading the alternator when using this amplifier to its full potential. I have not clamped it yet to see how much current is pulled, but hope to soon, schedule permitting. Thanks to Joe for this amazing little powerhouse, would have never known about it without his content that just randomly appeared in my suggested videos one day. I was ordering breakers for a subpanel when it appeared, no idea as to why, but it happened, lol. Enjoy your amplifier, I flog mine several hours a day without an issue.
I humbly request you do a review of autotek TA 2055.1 or 2050.1 next week and do its dyno test we see its rms is true or gimmicks. Thanks, Your loyal subscriber
Heavy???!!! I still hold the trophy for the heaviest watts per square inch! The 5000 watt SoundXtreme 2 channel looks a CSX boxcar! I'll have to upload it with the title: ????? C'mon y'all.... Help me out 😭😭😂😂
Great video once again cant wait to see what you have for us next week....Thank you so much for all you do for us God bless you and your Family.
What a great comment! Thank you so much for the kind words! Next week’s video is pretty cool!
I've had two. Never had a problem with them at all. They pushed my subs fine.
I’m sure they’re decent. They just don’t put out much power. The first 25-50 watts is the most important anyway
Steve! Look real good in the box. There should be a little piece of double sided tape.... That's so you can mount the bass knob anywhere you like 🤣😝
You could bridge this amp on a set of 8 ohm tweeters with its crossover and it would probably sound pretty good considering its a class a b amp
Unrelated to this video but, I ordered my WA-2K last night.
Sweet! I saw that, and printed the shipping label right away. I’ll take it to the post office tomorrow. Did you want me to sign it?
@@stereomojo yes please
@@656hookemhorns you got it! You’ll enjoy next week’s video. I shot it yesterday.
That amplifier would work great for four 6x9's. Nothing else. 🔊😁
Yeah, it would be good for that!
Not sure which model it was but Big D tested a audiobank that did 1500w plus at 1 ohm.not bad for a $119 amp at the time
@@jermainephillips5179 I think it was the 8k. I’d like to test that one as well.
Can you make a video on how to play music on the amp and how to get it to work
Well, at least it looks nice. 😅 I have a question about your Welsh amp. Can you run it on a stock alternator, or do you need to upgrade it?

@@DustmanDiagnostics Thanks Dustin, that’s good to hear! Make sure you check out the video that drops this coming Sunday.
@@stereomojo Good stuff I'm sure, thanks Joe!
Check out those sound storm amps. They promise big numbers at a small price.
I bet some paper cone paper surrounds speakers would surprise with that amp. Some 18s.

Decent door speaker amp .
It appears yt erased my comment. Again, the Ligjtning Audio LA-1000 is one good amp.
I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
How long would an Audiobank amp last?

They should rate it 200x1 4 ohm 300x1 2 ohm and atleast do rated rms. A decent mids and highs amp for 58 bux.
