Where did you get the paddle shifters. Have you thought about putting a set of the diamond cut 22s from the newer Range Rover. I put a set on mine and man it looks extra hot.

reminds me of my friends STI with a bypass valve..and had like a open valve on boost switch and on and off switches...that was back in the early 2000s...only thing the valve jammed sometimes especially when it got very hot. the valve would get stuck open.

I would change the transmission. There are lots of common problems with the L322, and one is the transmission which is also a bit slow in my opinion.
