It is actually really, really fast after 200. Duude, these 3.0L I6 BMW makes were always amazing.
Even going back to the 535i E60 - what an engineering miracle.
Yeah bmw i6 are insane i cant believe this is only 400hp it accelarates like a lamborghini hurucan with 640hp

It‘s a fast nice car, but not a sportscar like a Porsche GT or McLaren f.e.
The car is to heavy, doesn’t have LSD, brakes are dead after few laps of track and the biggest issue: oil starvation with sticky tires.
When you put it in sport+, you do realise, traction control is only half off ?
You have to press and hold the TC button for a few seconds to turn it completely off.
Then you get an orange warning light on the dash to let you know you're on your own !
I have an M140i with similar mods, 200 cell cat, ITG panel filter, xHP3 .... they are quick !
The 120-200km/h is amazing !!!

All M140/240 need:
- Suspension Chance (ST, KW, Bilstein etc)
- LSD
- rear subframe bushing stiffening
- more negative front camber (M2 Arms on sdrive etc)
…if possible square tire set-up

@@vollcare4076 I agree! My car has the LSD and m4 arms fitted. Both upgrades make a massive difference! I was also suprised with how better the car grips the road with wider rims (I have 8.5 with 245 front and 9.5 with 255 rear).

Very quick car. It must not have been too ‘cold & greasy’ b/c u must have push it to about 280 kph as rapid as that M240i was accelerating 👀👍🏾
from 7:00 to 9:30 car spent 1 dot of fuel on fuel gauge display, so he has fuel for 50 minutes of that kind of driving

@@Austin-rs3fw the Jeep Trackhawk with the hellcat motor will do 170 no problem. The Dodge Durango SRT 392 will work for you as well.
Little crazy rocket indeed! What a performance, but gotta do something with the suspension as even video transmits the feeling of how unstable it can get which is dangerous.

Are European hp and torque different from American? I have the same car and the stock numbers are way different
depends what model year i think the US market gets the 322hp and 450NM detuned version of the B58

Maybe I’m just spoiled with my car but 8.83 it’s that fast for a 463hp car, is the M240 heavy? I’m at 7.94 at 420hp 1420kg
I would say this car has no more then 420-430hp and weighs around 1550kg
With 460hp it usually does 8,0s
The wide wheels and the rear spoiler might make this 240 slower 100-200
@@vollcare4076 Yeah, you might actually be on to something, wheels makes a lot of difference, especially going down from 19 to 18. The rear deck lip, does it produce a lot of downforce under 250kmh??

I drive a b46 F30 i think, touring 330i 252ps and 350nh, what can i get with tunning? And if somebody can answer me, on the motor of my car is twin turbo power, like in my foto, that means the car has twin turbo motor is that wright? Not twin scroll..
B48*. the B48 is part of the B series modular engine family. so it uses the exact same spec internals as the B58 as well as the closed deck design and forged crank etc. so expect it to be very tuner friendly..
but also keep in mind that it's a 4cyl, so you won't get to the B58's level of power potential
and, no it's a twin scroll single turbo. twinpower means twin scroll

Nah, autotop just loves to overstate hp figures. This is making about 420hp, it only has a downpipe afterall and you presumably also upgraded your fuel pump

Why does every m140/m240 owner think that putting fake carbon fiber from ebay will somehow make the car look better? It's the equivalent to silicone on a 40-something female: you are just making it worse...
Also, those are not m performance wheels, but cheap cast wheels.
Also, a B58 with a downpipe doesn't make 460HP...
they make 400 from just a tune with no hardware so id say it is possible
@@gummikazy I own one, so I am very familiar as to what it takes to make a certain amount of power :) For 440+ you need an upgraded fuel pump.
It's been tuned by Mosselman Turbosystems who also use dyno runs when tuning, so I'm pretty sure the owner has the dyno sheets to proof it makes the claimed HP..

@@harbl2479 I have an M140i with a 200 cell Wagner cat, ITG panel filter, and a custom tune. I also have xHP3 too.
Mine was dyno'd on a very conservative dyno, trust me, I hate tuners who roller ride, fake the calculations with false temp reading etc, it boils my piss.
My car made 455bhp/634nm. I have seen others on TH-cam with the same mods, making 480+ bhp, which yes is complete bullshit.
But 450-460 is very much bang on for these particular mods. With an upgraded fuel pump, such as a Dorch2 you can make 480-490 'true' bhp, but then the turbo is maxed out.
Mine made 411bhp/576nm from just a remap, before I could afford the cat upgrade.
So, I don't believe you are 'very familiar' with what it takes to make a certain amount of power.
Either yours isn't tuned, or it is tuned but badly.
I work in the motor trade btw, before you start trying to diss me.
