Excellent video on exactly what I need to do with the one I found at Goodwill today! Hoping it takes care of the bug issue on our enclosed patio. Totally agree on basic maintenance. Too many fans get thrown away that just need a bit of work to keep going for years to come!
I got a used MA-06 & it's fairly clean & appears to be in good shape. The bulb wasn't burning & looks like a white bulb that isn't burning. So I got 4 from Walmart online that also aren't lighting up. How do I test to see what's going on?
Use a multimeter to see if that there is power. At the clips(where the light clips to) also see if the clips are dirty( with power off and un plugged clean the light clips) see what volts you are getting after you have power on and the fan running.
