2 quick notes: 1. The game was played in win2000, which wouldn't support full screen video animations for some reason, so to at least have the intro in full screen and not play super fast, I recorded that specifically in win98. 2. I skip the reports and desk games in the classroom since the same reports and games show up during the adventure.
You? That is awesome! Please don't get offended, but I thought the music was very scary, combined with the dark animations. I literally was afraid of this game. Thank you for the memories though. :D
@@Circuit3 no because I am really into dark wave / EBM / electro industrial / aggrotech music. I just went to Industrial Festival in November so it's kind of cool. Currently the music on this game sounds great, but the whole idea of being trapped inside a human body with eerie animations and dark music...yikes! 😂
19:40 Something about the old crappy animation and the soundtrack used to absolutely haunt me as a kid... At 5 years old I just couldn't even comprehend what psychological horror I was experiencing. Nice to experience it again 23 years later!
Whilst I found this game hilarious and super interesting as a small kid on our crappy family computer (the sound effects when choosing between different facial features and accessories on the driver's license photo were particularly random and hilarious) but 4-5 year old me found the recurring combination of bizarrely haunting music, creepily visceral and anatomical animation and the scary realisations of just how soft and fragile the human body is (combined with the bizarre choice of voices, facial expressions and the gooey, slimy sound effects all bizarrely creepy and off putting, particularly when playing the old jittery PC alone in a dark downstairs room. I still have extremely fond memories of games from this generation though, including the magic school bus explores the ocean
It's crazy that you still have these. These games were some of the first games I ever played as a kid. I wish there was a way to get them working in the modern day
The way I play these old cd-roms is to use virtual machines. I use a program called Oracle Virtualbox. I have virtual machines for windows 3.1 - Windows XP. There's lots of tutorials online to set them up. I plan on making videos of the other 2 Magic School Bus games I have as well soon in the future: ocean and dinosaurs 😀
1:41:05 At that point, as a kid, every time I got a high score, regardless who popped on screen if it was Keesha, Carlos, Phoebe, or Wanda, when that triumphant high score theme played, I always used to get up and take a deep bow, and repetitively over and over and over again and didn't stop until that musical tune stopped playing. It always made me feel good acting as if I have impressed that guy and those three girls with excitement, it was fun!
Thanks for the video. This game was always an early memory of mine. We had this game at school when I was a kid. First played it when I was like 6 years old in 1996. As well as Math Blaster
This game rocks, because it helps children learn how their bodies create energy from all of the food that they consume for 3️⃣ meals everyday in their lives. 👏🏻
@@Garfovsky I’m glad to hear that. What’s your favorite body organ? I like the stomach, because it’s very interesting to observe when my food enters that pouch-like organ in my body on behalf of digestion.
Woah, there were multiple ways to exit the body? The one I knew as a kid was by dropping a chili into Arnold’s mouth so he could cough you out. I had no idea you could escape from other body parts as well.
50:45 A fanfare I would enjoy listening to when any major goal has finally been made such as what's going to happen to me later this summer when I buy an electric bike. Also when that fanfare and applause sound effect used to play, I used to bow repetitively and nonstop until there was silence from them.
I know the Magic School Bus Human Body for over 28 years. I still have the original CD-ROM in possession but the disc is badly damaged and unreadable. Where can I find a new copy of the cd-rom?

@@creepycomputer If you can't go about getting it online, I'd recommend garage sales, flea markets, Goodwill, pawn shops, etc. not sure if they have flea markets or Goodwills where you live, but that's your best bet probably.
I didn't know they had actually done a voice for Liz in this game. In MSB Animals, Bugs (always had a glitch and never worked) and Rainforest, Liz was the same cute but otherwise non-speaking character. I kind of like Liz's voice
@danieltham1020 yeah it's cool that there's different options to finish the game. I only knew of the skin option as a kid cause I'd always stop there last.
This video was good, It's very smooth as well, All the MSB Human Body Games I've tried are slightly laggy, But they work well. Can you teach me how to play a smoother version?
I was definitley not smart enough to know what's real and what's not even as a bigger kid. I actually thought that a whole lot of animals could get into a mitten, like in a Russian folk tale I'd heard. If I had a dime for everytime my mother said "It's only a story", I would at least be a little rich. So maybe the comments about fantasy vs reality are neccessary, but I can't help thinking that it takes away the magic somehow😢

alright! 👍
INCREDIBLE!
Bringing back a ton of memories. This was the last CD-ROM I did music/sound design for.
oh wow that's really cool! this was one of my favorite games as a kid, so thanks!
thanks for the good childhood :)

I find it amazing..
Same this game really freaked me out as a kid
I never dared to play it at night. It scared me quite a bit, plus the sounds from the lungs and other places were also terrifying.
😲
Damn these games still capture my 90's childhood wonder and excitement. Thanks for uploading them :)
God, I forgot how much of a fever dream this game felt

I still often remember the bizarre feeling of this game I heard when I was a kid, so I looked it up.

lol yeah there's a couple tracks in this game that are a bit "uneasy"

Glad you enjoyed!
Should've clicked on Wanda, Carlos and Ralphie to hear what they have to say while exploring the Heart.
I did actually. For some reason they don't say anything they just move around when you click them, which I did a few times.
@@Garfovsky Click them only once and leave it be.
@@Garfovsky So I'd say sthis is about... 99.5% complete without the heart exploring dialogue.

I thought this game was really weird as a kid but at the same it was fun
That’s pretty much the essence of the entire Magic School Bus franchise in a nutshell

You can straight up kill Arnold by suffocation?!

They should remaster the old TMSB games (from around the 1990s) for 64-bit OS'!
