Any tips on running this game on modern hardware? i set my pc up to run 16 bit games, even got the correct DLL required from online and it still won't launch. thanks....
I just run a Windows XP virtual machine to play the game. You can do it on almost any host operating system. (On my M1 MacBook Air, I use UTM to run a Windows XP VM for playing such old games, but if you have an Intel Mac you can use Parallels Desktop, VMWare Fusion or the open-source VirtualBox.)

In the book, Little Laff is the Smell Switcher, and he and Little Monster were just playing a game until Little Laff heard his mother calling him to come home. In the pc version, The culprit varies. Little Laff will claim that the crime was just a joke. This video shows Errg is the smell switcher. The Smell Switcher varies each time you play, so it is either Little Laff, Ickky, Errg, Jerry Bombanat, or Yally, but never Little Monster.
