    My favourite roster to start is: Rotspawn, 3 Bloaters, 3 Pestigors, 4 Rotters, 2 RR (990k).
    You need as much strenght and as much agility as possible and I think this is the best compromise.
    Just one small correction on what you said: Pestigors and Rotters have gone down 5k, but Bloaters have gone UP 5k.

    Commented below, going again just for visibility.
    Rotspawn
    3 Bloaters
    3 Pestigors
    4 rotters
    2 rerolls.
    2 rerolls has been the build now too , so not the worst thing. The new money rules mean you probably get that 4th warrios and 3rd reroll pretty quick. I'd even buy them in that order cause I want my warrios leveled asap.

    I only saw the leaked page briefly, but I believe Bloaters were 115k so that's an increase of 5k.

      I can confirm that Nurgle Warriors went from 110k to 115k.

      It wasn't enough to nerf claws into the ground. They had to make nurgle more expensive too.
      I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just can't let it go.

      @@RationalOrc Claws and prices (which are overall lowered) are not so terrible. The thing that really akes Nurgle a true tier 2 is the redrafting. This team will be hellish to redraft.

    Also the no beast build is a single GW box! I still can't find 2 pestigors for finishing the gw plastic team but i can suggest using plaguebearer as rotter for some diversity among players

    Using nurgle in my first TT League
    3 x pestigors
    3 x Bloaters
    1 x beast
    4 x rotters
    2x reroll
    Can not wait

    Another Possible Roster Max Agility = 3 Bloaters, 4 Pestigors , 4 Rotters and 3 Rerolls

  • @cthulhu8483
    @cthulhu8483 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Am a bite late but now with the 4+ A rotters, I don't think I'll play it on a table top league as I used too unfortunatly...
    But if I had my build wwould be
    Rotspawn
    2 Pestigors
    3 Bloaters
    6 Rotters
    2 Re-Rolls
    with 985 tv and rush for the RR that will help you to win games then the last bloater.
    Still think that defensive play is strong, but boy dodging to replace or passing/receving with rotter like I use to do will miss me..

    If you could previous get the 1 beast and 2 RR build for exactly 1000k and everything got 5k cheaper, how come the same is only cheaper by 10k?

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alas, the Bloaters are actually +5k!!! I misread it! Luckily the spreadsheet was more accurate than I 😅

  • @jonathanspringett4427
    @jonathanspringett4427 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Bit late to this but what about:
    Rotspawn
    2 Bloaters
    3 Pestigors
    5 Rotters
    3RR
    = 980k
    Pestigors will be mercilessly targeted so 3 gives some backup. 3 big boys for the line and 3 RRs for security. 20k in the bank to save for the next Bloater.
    Would you really run a team with only 1 viable ball carrier?

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jonathan!
      Yeah I like that! Tough thing about Nurgle is that you're always left wanting more players! I'm a fan of Pestigor heavy - so I like your build a lot!

    Oh, the god that normally has slower minions has the appropriate agility on their lineman? Sucks from a game perspective but I'm happy from a lore standpoint.

    Ouch, Nurgle were harsh enough last year, although the cheapness now might make them a possibility.
    I started eith:
    Rotspawn
    3 Bloater
    1 Pestigor
    6 Rotters
    And 3 Rerolls = 1,000TV
    Those rerolls are very much needed, the only games I hadn't got them to hand, blooming Flings ☹ although I like the fluff, I just don't like losing so much.

    • @dambrooks7578
      @dambrooks7578 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My Nurgle advice is take Orcs as in comparison they are like ballerinas mixed with athletic super stars.

  • @peterhoff3340

    I have another Roster, with 4 rerolls and Max pestigors.....
    6 Rotters
    4 Pestigors
    2 Bloaters
    4 Rerolls
    For 1.000.000
    In the new Edition rerolls became More important and I really like the 4 Pestigors because you only win the Game by handling the Ball and now they are the onlyones who can do the Job in this Team. It will take forever until you have your Full Team, but Right from the start the Team is Good at playing Blood Bowl.

    I'm not sure if my number crunching is right. In LRB6 I advocated the Bielsa 3-3-1-3 (1 for the Beast as a future purchase)
    3 Pestigors = 225k
    3 Bloaters = 315k
    3 Rerolls = 210k
    5 Rotters = 175k
    This would add up to 925k. There's room for another Pestigor for a coll 1 million
    4 pests, 3 bloats, 3 rerolls and a bench for fouling.
    Or do my eyes deceive me?!

    • @jananchoudhury1503
      @jananchoudhury1503 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have to adjust the costings as Bloaters are 115k not 105k
      3 pests = 225k
      3 bloats = 345k
      3 RR = 210k
      5 Rots = 175k
      Total = 955k
      Drop a rotter for a pest = 995k
      So, 4 pests, 3 bloats, 3RR
      That'll be my build.

    Had my first game with Nurgle yesterday. Used the No Beast Build, and... Well... Honestly, I'm really at a loss as to how I can make this team work. Especially at low TV.
    Sure, having 4 S4/Av10 guys on the team sounds great. Until you run into a Black Ork team with 6 Orks and a Troll, all of whom are better bashers than you are.
    I don't know...
    You're too slow to break away from your opponents... Your main make-'em-hurt guys lack any kind of skill that will help them put opponents into the ground... You lack an obvious ball carrier... You're burning really quickly through those rerolls to keep your Bloaters on their feet...
    Looks like levelling this team is going to be a bit of a nightmare.

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, Allan! First things first - nice job taking on the Nurgle challenge!
      Black Orcs are a bad match-up for sure, but Nurgle have one of the worst starts for any BB team!
      Their true strength lies in resilience, which doesn't really pay off until you're at about +300,000GP into a league! I'd say they were a 3rd Season team, which will be great when BB3 gets here, but it's really tough going on the table top!

    • @BrickworksDK
      @BrickworksDK 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoneheadPodcast They're certainly a challenge... :-p
      Thing is though... Playing Goblins is also a challenge. And yet, I enjoy doing that, because they have skills that actually suits their playstyle. This team, on the other hand... I have a feeling that this will be a one-season team, destined to be relegated to the shelf-of-shame to gather dust. They're just not particularly fun to play. They might get better as you get block / mighty blow on the Bloaters, but my god it's going to be a painful grind to TV 1300 - 1400.

  • @WlLDEHlLDE
    @WlLDEHlLDE 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have no idea why they made Nurgle worse. It wasn't a good team before...

    • @BoneheadPodcast
      @BoneheadPodcast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Reedo, I don't get it either! They have a little value boost at the start - I think they just suffer until TV1300+!

  • @cheezemansam9567
    @cheezemansam9567 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Claw is worse
    Piling on totally removed
    Your linemen are worse at actually, well, winning the game
    The team basically loses the ability to pass. Going from 6-7 players who quick pass and catch on a 3+ to 0 players who can pass on a 3+. Yes, the rotters are cheaper and decay is essentially better but they got AGI nerfed. Being able to use a rotter to dodge out or pick up an errant ball was an important option to have, now that is less reliable. The reduced cost does help give you a better starting roster but on the field now they seem a bit worse.

    • @Eiravel
      @Eiravel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only one I really agree with is the claw. Rotters' job has always been fouling and taking hits. If you're throwing the ball to a rotter you're already in desperation mode(vanity passes aside). Pilling on has been gone from tabletop since 2016(?) and I can tell you bashing teams are still scary and developed nurgle is the bashiest of them all. Nurgle's problem has always been low tv. And now you can run A rotspawn 3 warriors 3 pestigors and 2 rerolls. I'd argue that's a much better start than the standard beast 4 warrios 1 pesti 2 rr most people run atm.
