I want to bow to an incredible person that took Hippocratic oath and not use it as a decoration for his office but believed in it.
A person that stood against government, food industry and so many others to help people around the world.
For the past 7 months I have been a true disciple of Dr Robert Lustig, I'm a living proof, that everything he says it's 100% accurate.
His hard work and his name will Echo for generations and generations to come.
Please 🙏🙏🙏 keep up the hard work Doctor.
    Thank you.

One of the really important things this man does is say "I don't know" when he doesn't know. He's the reason I'm no longer a metabolic syndrome mess now, drug free, lost a crap load of weight and never tired. All from access to his lectures on youtube and not my doctors.

Jonathan Brown I became a metabolic wreck before I adopted exemplar habits, by having typical American habits. I educated myself, learn to differentiate what are quality sources of information, learned about macronutrients, nutrition labels, and if I’m eating with other people or at a restaurant, ask a whole lot of questions and make socially unpopular decisions about what I eat. Avoiding sugar starch and grain is a lifestyle.

The UK NHS definitely haven’t banned sugary drinks from sale! I was on the cardiology ward of our local hospital for a week in October 2019 and a trolley came around every day with the (shitty) newspapers along with every sweet, chocolate bar and sugary drink you can imagine for sale to heart patients. Breakfast was sugary cereal, toast, jam (jelly) and margarine. Other men on the ward (one waiting for bypass surgery) were having their blood sugar tested constantly but weren’t getting any dietary advice. All this led me to research my diet - 4 months later I’m 18Kg lighter, feel fantastic, volunteering with the Police, walking miles and cycling again - all through a very low carb high fat diet - eating real food.

The modern obesity epidemic is undeniably a METABOLIC SYNDROME caused by following the dietary recommendations of the United States medical establishment over the past 50 years. Specifically, but not limited to...
Eat a low fat-highly processed carbs diet FULL of HFCS; and,
Limit your exposure to the sun, leading to an epidemic of Vitamin D3 deficiency triggering Human Hibernation Syndrome, wherein the body prepares itself for a winter that never comes and STAYS THERE.

As for Social Security. It can be remedied by changing the tax structure. Large corporations are paying much less than in the 1960's. Most middle class people have not had a real raise for 40 years. In the 1960's corporations paid $3.00 for every $1.00 that the middle class person paid. Now it is exactly the reverse. Ordinary people pay $3.00 for every $1.00 that is paid by a corporation. Really big companies are not longer patriotic because they no longer pay taxes. No one talks about this lack of patriotism.

@@maryl234 certainly the chemicals on our crops cause harm to the crops, soil, water supply, and air, but the altercation of our crops also cause damage. Grains have been altered. Wheat was altered to contain more of the gluten to provide softer breads. The crops were altered to be easier to harvest, as well. Soils have been overburdened further depleting and destroying nutrients. Add to that the mass amount of grains, more specifically wheat, consumed in this nation which wasn't always the case. Discernment in research is crucial. Follow the money and corruption for quite a bit of claimed research.

I've known a lot of addicts. You can tell when they've gotten off the drugs because they tend to get fat. They go from drugs to sugary foods. And I once heard an addict say that he decided to quit heroin and quit sugar at the same time. He said that it was much harder getting off sugar then getting off heroin.

God's first command to people was to EAT OF THE GARDEN......and he didn't use chemicals or GMO the stuff. We are responsible for keeping ourselves healthy. It starts by eating right. HOWEVER - it's difficult because of the chenicals that are used in farming as well as the food given to livestock. All this affects the food....not to mention the GMO factors....look at wheat for example...the chromosome changes and adding bromine to flour....not to mention the process of bleaching the flour. Why the upswing in celiac disease?

I am going to make this brief. I think you are great with letting everyone know the truth. When you talk about older woman drinking you should also figure out if these woman are married and for how long. I think this may have a lot to do with why more woman now drink.

Medicare for everyone--the cheapest health insurance. Senior citizens all are required to get a version of Medicare. Everyone is required to get car insurance. Everyone with a mortgage is required to get home insurance. Why should health insurance be different? As for fixing diet, make them put the number of teaspoons of sugar on the label for everything, and you might be half way there. Unfortunately, probably more difficult than getting Medicare for everyone. At least if you know you are drinking something with 30 teaspoons of sugar in it, you won't be surprised at the outcome.

There is no human need for health INSURANCE. There is a human need for health CARE. Health insurance is simply a 100% parasitical capitalist construct designed to transfer wealth from the pockets of working people into the pockets of health insurance company executives and stockholders. It adds no value of any kind. Health insurance is a racket that would not exist in a rational, humane society.
