What do you use to show the temps? MSI afterburner doesn't look like that (at least for me) and neither does AMD in driver graphs

And for what u might not even need any upscalers at all. 4080 and 7900xtx difference in 99% of games will be unnoticed between these 2 gpus. Id rather ne sure i have a great cooling solution/case /mb/fast RAM etc.

The RT performance of RTX 4080 Super at 1440p is enough for most games. Then you have DLSS 3 for CP2077's Path Tracing. You can't say the same for RX 7900 xtx tho. So, RIP AMD🎉

Can't help but notice some occasional frametime spikes. Is there a reason why these happen or just bad optimization? Have the same setup and some games are especially bad with these stutters. Might be nostalgia but I feel like these didnt happen in older games. I have found myself obssessing over frametime recently and don't really enjoy games as much because I can't fully immerse.

The power efficiency is very good. But does it coat so much more then having a card that draws like 380w? Is it like 5 euro more a month or more on your bill?
lock the frames at 60 fps or just lower the settings from ultra to high for a lesser power draw from the gpu or you can play at high fps with ultra setting for a shorter duration of time choose your pick if you want to save the electricity bill.

I'm grateful for the 4k and 1440p. Can we get an Ultrawide For The Win? 🤣 You have one in the background in many videos. Subtracting 20-25% isn't always correct. 😮💨 How often do you get to do that with an NVidia GPU? As more people obtain UW, more views will come for them as well. @@AncientGameplays The temperature on 4080S is so low, when it draw 320w, weird, mine has 62-65 in 10 sec, i have very impressive airflow. The 4080 is Gainward Phantom GS .

@@Silent-1983These are still very good temps on your card. And most of the time the 4080 don't even consume the 320 watts but stays under 300 watts.

Can you test the new RTSS feature that enables Nvidia Reflex as the frame limiter? Test on both Nvidia and AMD gpus as the setting can be enabled on both but on AMD it probably automatically sets it to the async one.
Can you test with optimised settings? I understand this takes a huge amount of time and a pain to record and it’s a flagship gpu. But it would be helpful🎉

Just be careful with newer games using Path Tracing, like Alan Wake 2, anyway great GPU! Looking forward for the RTX 5070/5080!

Since nobody else will, I’m just gonna say it, fam. Fabio is replacing GN Steve as the new official “PC Jesus”. We love Steve, but he’s been gradually transforming into PC Bob Seger for a while now.
Make sure to upload out of box performance also. As for AMD cards do out of box performance+ rebar without OC added to it.

The only reason I chose this gpu over the 7900 xtx is how much lower the power consumption is.

Rdr2 is really heavy if you put absolutely everything to maximum. Not ultra, nkt high, everything cranked up. Looks gorgeous though

i'm really considering changing my 6950xt for either a 70TiS or a 4080 Super. Both looks amazing, little less power consumption. I dont care about the RayTracing but DLSS3.5 seems like the way too go. Especially with Stalker 2 and Space Marine 2 coming soon.

@NoSkillsBro yeah but what we need to see is , if that anti-aliasing is better others solution in performance IF CAN SUBSTITUTE SMAA OR TAA WHILE THEY LOOK BETTER AND PERFORM BETTER, maybe won't be that much gains but it will be a clear step forward compared to the AA tecnichs that we know from our entire live

Did you boost any settings? I have 4080 Super with 7800 X3D but you always seem to get 20-30 fps above me. In Helldivers 2 I get 120 fpsish, and in D4 I get 190-210fps.
You didn't test the exact same area. But maybe you need better ram, or you should tweak the GPU as well
@@AncientGameplays My ram is 32gb 6000mhz and 30cl. What did you tweak on the GPU? Yes it aint the same exact area but having 80 fps difference is nuts haha. Good content btw
@@velifurkanturkoglu1387 i have the same specs and i get the same performance as shown in the video. use msi afterburner for the gpu and also tweak your ram timings in the bios. he has videos for both of these topics.

I watched the entire video, even without an ad blocker. However, I have a question. Do you think that AMD’s RX 7900 XTX could rival the RTX 4080 Super in ray tracing through driver improvements?
Drivers wont fix it per se. Amd uses CUs to do RT, and other things as well at the same time. They need dedicated cores
This is an issue for the architecture of rdna 3, probably not drivers. (I think it has accelerators but they are not many and on the compute units.) Hopefully rdna 4 switches to dedicated silicon for ray tracing, as un my opinion ray tracing is no longer a "gimmick" and definitely not when you have a top end card. For future games they will probably add light ray tracing permanently such as in avatar, which is luckily viable on the xtx but does have a considerable performance deficit that would be nice to just not be there!
