This is how reviewers should do benchmarking. Great work. If there is a next time video I suggest just picking one resolution. A RTX 4070 is a 1440p gpu. It would have been better to just use that one for this video. That would be more useful to see how it will perform down the road. Despite people talking about 4k all the time that is a very hard resolution to run for most GPUs. Peace.
Good video, the only issue here is that the r5 5600x is hindering the 4070 in most games, you would get around 20% - 30% more FPS with let's say a r5 7600x for example, or anyway with a better CPU

Using RTX4070 with trusty Ryten 3700x (only @1440p) since september, quite comparable to your fps in this resolution , no plan on upgrading to newer gen CPU for a while... I gave my old 1080ti to my drummer (1080p gaming) ;)

I'm having issues with Cyberpunk 2077 and TLOU Part 1 at 1080p with same specs, in both games no matter what preset I pick, Low, Medium, High, Ultra all have the same FPS... All other games are working well, Cyberpunk 2077 if I turn on Frame Generation I get 80-110 FPS with Overdrive, but if I use Low/Medium/High/Ultra presets without FG/DLSS/RT/PT/RR I get 50-70FPS, so weird. In TLOU Part 1 no matter what I pick I always get 60-70FPS with some dips into 50s. Latest version of Windows 11, latest drivers for both chipset and GPU. Is something wrong with my PC or is this normal or could it be those games being broken right now?
@@GAMESMARKING I shouldn't be with my current configuration, I have the same specs and I get worse FPS than other people. I'll try reinstalling Windows.
@@GAMESMARKING I got it working! Reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers and unchecking the "HD Audio" part fixed it. I'm getting 90-140 FPS in non-intensive areas and 70-80 FPS in intensive areas now.
i know Nvidia is pretty expensive this gen.. but man the hate on YT from basically every creator towards the entire 40 series and the insane praise for AMD is wild to see. even after watching like 5-6 videos from BIG YTers I still went with the 4070 cause unlike them i think Nvidia's value added features (dlss3/RT/software/driver stability) and not to mention reduced power draw (which saves me a PSU replacement not to mention the amd would add another $30-40 a year to my power bill)... AND the average consumer still rates the 4070 higher on amazon/google than either the 6800xt or 6950xt. they all seem like great cards to me, just shocked that some people are calling the 4070 a "mid tier" card. why is this happening?
Well the 30 series was very good improvement from the 20 series that's why it was successful. But besides 4090 the rest of the 40 series cards are only a little better than previous generation in terms of performance and also a lot more expensive
@@GAMESMARKING right but inflation has made literally everything more expensive, and while i skipped 30 series cause crypto pricing.. seems most others didn't so the bar has been set and now people are mad about it? also seems like nvidia value add features get little praise such as dlss3 which seems impressive to me. just confused by the backlash when it was the consumers who set their standards..
@@im_cart8656 Honestly at the end of the day, only your thoughts on it matter and not from other people. As long as it works, it works. Tbf i'm going from a 2060 to a 4070 and I'm excited to try it out.

Nice benchmark but I'd prefer to make seperate video for specific resolution and not to blend 4k with 1440p all together. Also i noticed that your CPU is bottlenecked by the GPU, ni wonder you get fairly low fps in the Witcher 3 (fg+dlss with only 90-70 fps is considerably low)

What PSU do you have in your pc and did you recognize any bottlenecking with pairing the r5 5600x and the 4070? Thank you for your answer.
Corsair 650w.
Some cpu heavy games are bottlenecking. Otherwise it's fine
@@GAMESMARKING Thank you very much.
@@GAMESMARKING 600w is fine if you have a 65w cpu
I have corsair cv 650w and 13400 i will also buy 4070 .
Good video, the only issue here is that the r5 5600x is hindering the 4070 in most games, you would get around 20% - 30% more FPS with let's say a r5 7600x for example, or anyway with a better CPU
Was thinking some of the framerates looked quite low for a 4070. That's probably why
63 degrees when playing cyberpunk at max graphics! what case and fans are you using?
Cooler master liquid cooler
i know this is kinda late but did your ryzen 5 5600x bottleneck the 4070 at all at 1440p i have the exact same cpu and i want upgrade to a 4070 do you think i should get a ryzen 7 5700x instead ?
No. It doesn't bottleneck, but a 5700x will be better and more futureproof
Hi You used both the 4070 for gaming and 1060 for recording ?
Only 4070 for this video
@@GAMESMARKING thanks for the reply... Cheers...
Thx for great video. It's so helpful for me. Cheers!
Wow that’s some dedication right there good work
Well this is very good video. Thanks. I am considering building this pc, i only want to play 1080p so i guess i am going to be fine with 144 hz monitor😅 i see you didnt activate dlss so yeah. I want to put also i5 13600k but do you think it is overkill and waste of money on the cpu?
It's not overkill. 13600k is perfect for 4070
@@GAMESMARKING Thank you! And keep up the good work :)
what about Ryzen7 7700X with 4070 ?@@GAMESMARKING
Good
bro which monitor do you use
Hello good! I recently bought the 4070 asus dual, the same one you use in the video. The same when playing games at high fps, it produces a bit of a strange buzz, do you have it too? It is normal?
greetings and very good video bro!
It's normal
it's coil wine, some cards sounds more louder...some less
what software are you using for record?
Nvidia shadow play
How did you get ME Legendary to run without stutter? They all all lagged for me. ME1 was the least laggy. Same GPU with i7 13700k, 32 GB T Force DDR5 5200 mhz. ME3's opening cinematic was a slideshow.
Maybe the game not installed properly. Install it again
Using RTX4070 with trusty Ryten 3700x (only @1440p) since september, quite comparable to your fps in this resolution , no plan on upgrading to newer gen CPU for a while...
I gave my old 1080ti to my drummer (1080p gaming) ;)
what software are you using to minitor that? thanks
Msi afterburner
Did you use any mods on Elden Ring? If so which one?
Unlock fps mod
bro i bought the 4070 20 mins ago and im still shaking. I never spend that much money but its worth the upgrade
Hello bro, please advise
Asus ROG Strix G15 G513RC-HN033 15.6 144hz 6800H 16GB 512SSD RTX3050. Or
MSI Katana 15 B12VFK-1437XPL 15.6 144hz i7-13620H 16GB 1SSD RTX4060
Or your own choice .
Please will look for your reply 🙏 🙂

@GAMESMARKING thanks bro
Bottlenecking
@@GAMESMARKING I shouldn't be with my current configuration, I have the same specs and I get worse FPS than other people. I'll try reinstalling Windows.
@@GAMESMARKING I got it working! Reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers and unchecking the "HD Audio" part fixed it. I'm getting 90-140 FPS in non-intensive areas and 70-80 FPS in intensive areas now.
Thank for the effort mate
I can't be thankful enough, 100 games?? Wtf
Thanks for sharing your findings. Awesome work. I wonder why Sons of the forest is so demanding on the GPU ("only" 60 FPS!)
It's still in early access
Nice job man this helped a lot . What do you think of 4070+ i7 13700kf ? Which is better with that cpu 3080ti or 4070 ?
3080ti. If you care about dlss 3 and other new nvidia features then go for 4070
@@GAMESMARKING i really want good fps in all games and will still support the 3080ti
@@GAMESMARKING i mean will nvidia still support the rtx 3080ti ? And rtx4070ti will it be better than it ? And thank you
Yes nvidia will still support the 30 series. And 4070ti is better
@@GAMESMARKING thank you for everything good job dude keep going
What is the program you use to see the temperatures?
Msi afterburner
Hey did it bottleneck? I have Ryzen 5 5600 along with this card. Is it okay?
It bottlenecks in some cpu heavy games but otherwise it's good
Is Cyberpunk 2077 CPU heavy? I see less FPS than what other benchmarks show.
Yes
Finally we can play ark at max settings with playable fps.
100 is not a simple number. BTW kudos to you!!
Thanks
7:23 7. A Plague Tale Requiem ese de verdad necesitaba el frame gen
great video but i dont get why people to on FG without dlss
How much would these benchmarks improve with a Ryzen 5 7600X?
10-15%
Bought rtx 4070 and now im looking this video to see how im gonna run it before downloading
i know Nvidia is pretty expensive this gen.. but man the hate on YT from basically every creator towards the entire 40 series and the insane praise for AMD is wild to see. even after watching like 5-6 videos from BIG YTers I still went with the 4070 cause unlike them i think Nvidia's value added features (dlss3/RT/software/driver stability) and not to mention reduced power draw (which saves me a PSU replacement not to mention the amd would add another $30-40 a year to my power bill)...
I Don't want to be too much of an annoyance. But how much Disk space do you have? (Both SSD and HDD)
4tb
my god, i was waiting ofr this video for so long, i really hope to get the same gpu as you, i would be so funny, because my first gpu was the 1060 same as you, and i was watching all your performance videos with the 1060
why is your framerate low in cyberpunk? I have everything the same, but the frametime is usually 30 ms
Are you using path tracing?
@@GAMESMARKING yea, rt overdrive preset
about the resolution, I play full hd
Oh i am using 2k
100 games? what a legend.
All this games just makes me even want to buy 4070, WOW
Nice benchmark but I'd prefer to make seperate video for specific resolution and not to blend 4k with 1440p all together.
Also i noticed that your CPU is bottlenecked by the GPU, ni wonder you get fairly low fps in the Witcher 3 (fg+dlss with only 90-70 fps is considerably low)
It's not even that bad god shut tf up about bottleneck 🙄
Dumb question, but... ¿Having 2 gpu at the same time while your're playing gives you a better performance?
no. game only use 1 gpu at a time
@@GAMESMARKINGthanks for your answer, much apreciate bro.
Timeproof: perfect for 1080p or 1440p with custom settings down the line
