I like this remix a lot... It's very different from the original with its slower tempo and heavier emphasis on machinery. Its probably symbolic of the destruction of nature and its slow development in this game, as a stark contrast to Nutty Noon's beautiful, natural scenery.

p sure the entire game's soundtrack is based on replacing nature with machinery. That's why everything has so much synth in it.
@@irlShively Yeah, the theme is consistent throughout the entire game! I just think this track exemplifies the change with its contrast to the original song from Return to Dream Land.
This is a nice rendition of the trailer theme from that cancelled Kirby GameCube game. Yes, production was restarted as Kirby's Return to Dream Land for the Wii.

I like how every Lab remix is a theme taken from a game with "Dreamland" in its title. To show what I mean,
Green Lab: Sand Canyon 3 from Dreamland 3.
Red Lab, the one we're on: Sky Tower from Return to Dreamland.
Blue Lab: Float Islands from the Dreamland 1.
Yellow Lab: Reuses the above remix + a new one for Mint Breath.
Purple Lab: Dark Castle from Dreamland 2
I guess they did this to emphasize the mechanical transformation of Dreamland, seeing as these are all used in "Dreamland" (a game with that in the title) and are given techno renditions.
But these games don't have dreamland in their names in japanese. Return to dreamland is even just called "kirby wii"

Actually the beginning of Star Dream phase 3 uses the beginning to Sky Tower from Return to Dreamland so technically that's true since the Main Theme of KPR is just part of Star Dream musuc
