- Yeah. The Main Mode songs are remastered, they sound a bit cleaner and slightly different from the Wii versions. In this case you can mainly notice it in the choir and the volume of the instruments.

HAL took the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach with this soundtrack, and it's masterpieces like this that prove why. Needless to say, after finally getting to experience this game & it's soundtrack, I am now A lover of Return to Dream Land's OST

It seemed like people were originally theorizing that magolor was no longer in control at somepoint in the battle, only for this remake to confirm people's theories, rather than being in control of the crown, he became it's puppet.

The true evil reveals itself. The crown has corrupted Magolor beyond repair, and he has his sights set on you. Something is eerily familiar about his appearance, as if someone you thought was long gone is puppeteering him from inside...

Hal can somehow prove that you can improve PERFECTION. CROWNED is already probably the most iconic final boss theme for Kirby but Hal went and made it sound even more epic than it ever was. I honestly am so happy a new generation can play this game and hear this music because it deserves it status as one and in my opinion the BEST Kirby boss theme.
No cap I can agree FULLY. But for me if I have Stone for the boss this guy ain’t gonna be crowded anymore. His goofy shell is gonna be *C-R-A-C-K-E-D.*

Kirby has always been the MVP for Nintendo final boss music I swear

This theme feels so... special, unlike other final boss themes in kirby this one goes slower and in deeper notes, you dont feel the adrenaline from being rushed because magolor is just playing with you until his later phases

It's pretty amazing how the final boss themes uses the character's theme as the game's main 'leitmotifs' to represent the story of the game. In this case, Magolor theme is one of the game's main themes and it has received several arrangements in this remake which makes Magolor having the most (other than King Dedede) 'received / remixed' arrangements of all characters in the series

The difference between this and the original is subtle, but clear
Magalor wasn't bad at all. His hunger for power and corruption of Master Crown did this to him, but still, even after being possessed and used like a puppet, he wants to apologize to people that truthfully caring about him. That is why Magalor is my favourite in Kirby franchise. He was possessed, but he wanted to apologize, and did it, thus getting a true friends.

The fact he went through HELL literally for a chance of redemption speaks volumes
I would argue that Magolor betrayed Kirby and friends out of greed and lust for power but it makes sense why he would apologize. He clearly didn't anticipate the crown taking control of his mind and body, I'm glad he was forgiven though. Magolor will always be my favorite villain since his betrayal shook my like 8 year old mind lol

Bro, I was so glad when Kirby's Return to Dreamland well... RETURNED. But even some of my Kirby-loving friends had no idea about this game 🙁. I gladly showed them and now they love this game and everything in it. The Wii version I mean. I haven't played the Switch version yet. But when I get it eventually, I know it'll be a blast like it is on Wii. Even though I fully completed the Wii version. Now there's new in-game material for me to enjoy. (When I get it).

The last lyrics with the music is what makes me cry.
So in the original version, you were able to see magolor's mouth in his first phase and when he changes in his DX version in extra mode. But here in Deluxe, they removed his mouth. The mouth obly appears in phase two with the dark matter eye.
Even though they’re essentially the same song, I prefer the original version of CROWNED. I’m glad a game like this exists so newer generations can experience Return to Dreamland who never owned a Wii. It’s little things like the intro vocals being slightly changed, the production and dynamics are more open (a lot of reverb), and it sounds more compressed…but maybe that’s just the Switch.
It could also be the rip. Wait for CD quality!

I see they took the Battle for Everyone's Souls approach when it comes to this "remix", and I think it works just as well here as it did in Reload, which is very well to say the least.
I found the final boss, dragon and the dark ship to be easier then I remembered on the Wii or maybe I gotten better then my kid self
If I remember correctly, the game was meant to be more difficult than the original. The battle against Magolor Soul in the True Arena is very different than the Extra version.

seriously Nintendo, Kirby leaps and bounds compared to Mario
they bass boosted all the audio files if you rip them raw and people for some reason think certain songs that are obviously not remade were remade
the remade ones are mid and a lot of the new songs are taken from other kirby games (not the tunes themselves, the songs in their rendition, like how smash uses air ride frozen hillside instead of remastering/remixing it but mass attack has it's own rendition of frozen hillside (technically because the instruments are arranged differently in the song) )
Man. I thought they wouldn't change it out of laziness, or if they would they would have ruined. But man now that this remaster is here i just think: "Why didn't you go a little bit further, and make a slight remix or pitch change for the final battles against magolor/magolor soul in the final arena" btw they should have made an harder version of magolor EX for the final arena
