It's a good idea to Always use the Cable. It makes it easy for a thief to see you have an alarm. It also makes it easy for you to see from a distance if someone has tampered with your disk lock. I use one in conjunction with a motion sensor alarm installed in my headlight housing connected to my handlebars. I lock the handlebars by the built in lock, set the disk lock then arm the alarm. If they try to roll the bike or break the handlebar lock, separate alarms go off, one that they cannot even see. In this way I have two locks and two alarms. I still plan to get a chain lock with alarm and a GPS.
Thanks for watching and subscribe. If im honest, i dont really park my bikes anywhere except my garage. If i do leave my bike somewhere else i stay near it or dont stay long.
Thanks for doing this video. The video is well done, and it helped me decide to get this type of lock for my scooter. The drone video was a nice (unexpected) bonus........very smooth flying and camera work. Now you have inspired me to use my drone to do some video of my scooter.
Yeah its definitely worth it it, i also have a 1year review video with it (with my grom) im also gonna make another video because it’s coming up to the 2 year mark now since i got the lock. Maybe i will make that video with my Yamaha fz07!
You’re welcome... I think me dropping it from how loud it is really explained that it is super loud. Thanks for watching and subscribe, look through my channel i think you will find more videos that you like
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Yes it will still work that way, just will be no sound if battery does. I will do a 2 year update video soon with it on my channel.
I even put a little c clamp on it to hold it down and then I sat there and the alarm went off about 10 seconds later so I can't even use a c-clamp on it
Don't buy the ones for under $20 I just bought one and it wouldn't push in it's just garbage make sure you get the one with the extra batteries like you got

Seriously. Just go totally overboard, that's what I'm gonna do.

I have this on mine, i love it
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I currently have it on my honda grom

Can you switch the alarm off?
THANKS FOR THE SOUND TEST I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO SKIP OVER IT

How sensitive is it? Do cars/trucks driving by cause it to go off?
Thanks for watching and subscribe! I never had that happen before, but i have had it go off because of loud noises
@@Drive315 I ended up getting the lock and I love it! Thanks for your video
Can you adjust the sensitivity of the alarm because mine keeps going off with micro movements
Thanks for watching and subscribe! You can’t adjust the sensitivity, its always sensitive
Does the wind or anything else ever set It off?
No the wind wont
@@Drive315 so you haven’t had much experience with “phantom alarms” in other words it just goes off for no reason?
Will it lock and unlock it if the battery had die
Thanks for watching and subscribe! Yes it will still work that way, just will be no sound if battery does. I will do a 2 year update video soon with it on my channel.
I dont have a gurage in my apartment and I have to use a cover. Will the bike cover slapping it in the wind make the alarm go off?
Thanks for watching and subscribe. I dont know, probably not if you put the bike lock a bit higher on the wheel
The cover won’t set it off. But almost impossible to take the cover off without setting off the alarm.
Does this fit a z125 ??
Thanks for watching and subscribe! It does fit 100%
What type of drone was that???
Nice bike !
I even put a little c clamp on it to hold it down and then I sat there and the alarm went off about 10 seconds later so I can't even use a c-clamp on it
Yeah that sounds too cheap, i dont have any issues like that
Why the curvy thread?
What do you mean?
@@Drive315 whats its function for the motorbike? I find it senseless, unless u've got an alarm in the lock...
The curly thread is to remind you that the alarm is attached. If you forget, and continue to drive off, you'll destroy your bike.
I love ninjas !
What types of batteries does it use
I think CR2 is the type but check to make sure.
what drone was that?
Thanks for watching and subscribe, its the dji mavic mini
Any Ukrainian girls around there? Nice place!
Thanks for watching and subscribe! There actually are Ukrainian girls here, but 99% of them wont date you unless you’re Ukrainian too
@@Drive315 ah so it's true they're nazii's!
Don't buy the ones for under $20 I just bought one and it wouldn't push in it's just garbage make sure you get the one with the extra batteries like you got
I just got a cheap one it doesn't even stay locked in
Thanks for watching and subscribe , mine does stay locked
Any lock under $50 is ass that’s why ABUS are the best, you get what you pay for.
this thing is junk.. plenty of other videos show people smashing these off with ease using a hammer.. less then 5 strikes and it crumbles.
Who comes and Taps the alarm. Useless video demonstration.
Try a RĒAL maneuver, without tapping on it.
what drone is that?
Thanks for watching and subscribe. Its the original dji mavic mini, great drone to this day
