Amazing editing 👏 and good music selection. The basement was very nice 👌! I wanna see more videos like this from this channel! This is actually the first time that I am turning on the notifications 😆.

Thanks Chris! Ceiling were pretty low..... 80" I think to the beams. But with some plumbing moved out of the way, we only lost an inch or two, so finished, it's maybe 79". Ended up feeling taller than I thought it would though so it all worked out ;) Nice channel by the way!
Amazing transformation! Long hours of hard labor and cost. Great video and thank you for the time lapse! Listening to people explain or comment for 2 hours is not for me.
Super cool watching the transformation! I appreciate the addition of the plywood underlayment for the carpeted room. 😉 May I ask if that was a hot water heater or furnace in that small utility closet? Seems like a great way to increase your useable living space!
Hi raymond! Thanks, the floor came in handy with a washer leak just days ago. It's those Drycore panels and was a simple fix. The hot water heater replaced the original beast...going from less than 50% efficiency to 96% efficiency. The state offers great incentives. Plus, yes, much smaller to cram in neatly into a closet.
I don’t really know actually. I did lots of work myself so it was cheaper than you think. But took over a year in little pieces so I never did the math. Thanks for watching!
Ah thanks Marlene - actually the under stair space is totally customized, just not in the video :) I ended up building into if after, and preplanned it during the construction process. Sharp eye!
Casey Neistat of construction 😂
the editing for the final shots was WILD
So my question is....do you want to make another basement video like this...but in my basement?...lol... Great video and great basement...Enjoy it!

Cool
looks good and expensive :)
On my way to visit and sleep 🤣😊
Awesome video!! I love DIY home renovations, which is what first led me to your video, but I have to ask - what video editing software are you using??
hi @alicia - thanks! :) I edited it all in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC
very nice, one question is what size framing did you use?
How much to do this? Seems expensive. $20k-40k?
I don’t really know actually. I did lots of work myself so it was cheaper than you think. But took over a year in little pieces so I never did the math. Thanks for watching!
I don't even have a basement 😂😂
can ya'll finish my basement
Beautiful, but you wasted a lot of space under the stair landing that could have been for storage.
Ah thanks Marlene - actually the under stair space is totally customized, just not in the video :) I ended up building into if after, and preplanned it during the construction process. Sharp eye!
Lovely job!
Awesome. Not incredibly instructive, but well done.
