Installing a foxbody hood latch

Installed the original (restored) hood latch on the 88 GT foxbody convertible.
All of my materials/media are for entertainment purposes only. Always read the safety manuals and safety precautions for power tools, chemicals, auto repairs, replacement parts, etc, etc.
All photos & videos, editing and posting were completed on an iPhone 8 using free apps.

Did the cable come with grommet? I was thinking that the cable ran through a hole in firewall below break booster

Mine is an 88, which will work on all 87-93 mustangs.
