Another pain in the rear on the combat system is there are times (Bane - Arkham Origins) when you're trying to do a move and get knocked out of it because someone, possibly even the person you're attacking at the time does their own attack and you can't evade or counter due to the attack delay. I can't tell how many times the other day I tried to do the ultra stun only for Bane to attack and because I was mid-animation I couldn't do a counter on him.
I had this issue in city and i was aligning a question mark and no matter how perfectly lined up it was it wouldnt work. I got farther away and it worked... Batman: Hmm....Hmmmmmm...Oh 🤦♂️
I got to be honest, having the joker as my companion in Arkham knight was pretty nice. Also when he sits and points out objectives for when you are lost in a mission is nice
I like how the riddler trophies make you feel like an absolute big brainer when you solve a hard one and also make you wanna uninstall the game when you waste 10 mins trying to figure out one and still fail.
When a thug would break my high combo, I would keep my eye on that exact thug, build up my combo again, and finish him with a takedown that broke his leg or arm. I am a pretty vengeful person.
Same once I got my sight on the accuser I would take out everyone else but him then a stun beat down lasting half way and then stun him three times and kick him across the fight mid air lmao

my sad moment was when i thought that you only had to complete the riddles and then you got to face him. What the heck’s wrong with listening to criminals talk?! Honestly, I found it interesting to listen to what they had to say and makes the game more fun and realistic to be able to eavesdrop on their conversations.
Did you not hear him? Once you hear what each thug says hearing it again many MANY times is annoying And when it's done by the same voice actor it just gets worse
@@ringofdreal1374 They could have just given us a setting to disable it. It doesn't really add anything to the immersion having the same 4 or 5 criminals yapping everywhere you go. It's a bit like some of the roof tops seemingly showing up no matter where I went in the city repeatedly. It made the entire city seem a lot smaller than it really is.

You have to admit that the controls of the remote control batarang have improved throughout the games. With Knight allowing the batarang to ricochet of walls a few times

my favorite is in arkham knight when they say: so if bruce wayne is batman, whowas doing bruce wayne this whole time? everytime i hear that one i laugh a bit sayin: these thugs are dumb as fuck x) but the funniest one is when im rollin around the city and criminals say: what tf is he doin?!? How about when you’re trying to beat a mission, you keep dying, and you painstakingly have to watch those stupid, annoying cutscenes and wait for your next turn.
This especially sucks when they do this 180 degree turn in one second. So you are behind them for the one second and all of a sudden they made a 180 degree turn and are shooting at you
That happens often in Arkham Asylum. When the thugs are "panicing" (after you take down some of their mates), they are so nervous and keep looking around non-stop... And when there are more of them left, its almost impossible to slowly take down one without alarming the others.😕
I don't really have a problem with any of these. The main thing I absolutely HATE is when you want to attack the one guy right next to you but instead Batman jumps across the universe to attack the one standing in the corner picking his nose. It's SUPER frustrating when you want to maintain that combo but instead of hitting the guy you wanted you attack some guy with a shield or electric baton and lose the combo. Ugh so many times where that happened I'm just ranting at my TV.
There is one track specifically that sucks the fun outta that game. it's the one where you have to go up the wall then back down, if you aren't good at driving the bat tank then you failed that Everytime and had to hear about it from nigma....
What about "tanking" on a rooftop just to get to the other building, just so you have to use the Batmobile to "recharge" something, I couldn't remember. I almost stopped playing the game after that
You know what I hate most about Arkham night is when you work so long to get through the Riddler missions and then he says he won’t fight you unless you get all of his trophies at the very end
Hadn't played it in over 5 years. Saw it in my stack of games and went why not. Playing origins on hard, with the knowledge and ability to improve skill now that I'm older is quite nice.

I actually like it when the criminals talk. Brings more life to the game. What's boring is having thugs just doing their thing and just moving around. What makes me mad in Arkham series is the Riddler Batmobile challenge. Its unecessarily difficult.
Yep, I never did get that last one completed. I got stuck on the last lap of the last challenge. I probably should go back with the replacement batmobile as I think it is a bit better than the one that you start with and knowing a lot more about how to control it, but still.
Yeah, those were frustrating as hell! So much so, that I never did the Riddler AR challenges. And instead did easier ones like Quarantine, and Iceberg Lounge.
+userasdf I've defiantly heard the same thing twice a lot, I mean it happens in the first two hours but I mean at least there is dialogue in the game they didn't have to even add plus there is a lot of dialogue in the game it's self and they have to pay the actors for all the dialogue so we're lucky we have the great amount of it to begin with and even after it repeats you still hear new dialogue for the almost 12 hours of game after that

I have two things to say: First, the thug dialogue is the most entertaining part of the games Second, my two least favourite things are the riddler trophies, and the fact that you can’t free roam with nightwing/robin unless you glitch or buy dlc
Ricky games basically, in Arkham knight, on the citivision construction challenge map, there is a glitch where you can escape the map and free roam with anyone
LEGIT_ LEONIDAS basically, you can’t free roam with a dlc on its own, but you can glitch out with one of the dlc maps (see my reply above) and, on some level, you can free roam in the dlc, at least more than you can in the actual game (except for red hood).
On my channel I've done Asylum, City, and Knight 100%. And I find the trophies ok, but man oh man can it get you after a while. Uhh 440 trophies, yet somehow arkham knight dragged more to me on that.
It’s great to see everybody hates the trophies because that’s kinda the point that is suppose to be made. To catch a killer, it would take a long time of constantly solving puzzles and picking up little clues.
Love the Character, but hate his Insistence on always doing the shit he does... And all the talking... Though, i gotta say, he does still have some great and smart dialogues.
It took Batman 16 years in the whole Arkham Series from origins to Knight to finally catch this dude. All of his riddles made me want to to take his riddle cane and shove it down his throat.
Same. Though may I say, getting all of the Arkham City achievements is a PAIN. Same with Requiem for a Killer. Also, I loved collecting all riddler trophies, however I was a little disappointed by the Riddler ending in Asylum. All that happens is you get to hear the police show up and arrest Nigma.
The thing that annoyed the crap out of me is actually in city (hear me out) I love it, but the giant blocked off area in the middle of the map near wonder tower really angered me having to fly back and forth for no reason.
Absolutely! :) I really hope they could add more dialogue among the criminals in the *Return to Arhkam*, while you're navigating through the Asylum island/city! More interesting/silly/hilarious stories to listen in to! ;)
I actually really love the riddler in Arkham knight. I have fun doing all of his races, his puzzles, and searching for all of the trophies. My least favorite thing about this game is brutes and mini gunners. I feel like Batman shouldn’t have to punch a guy 20 times uninterrupted in order to take him down. I’m all for enemies where you have to take a different approach to beating them, but I don’t like it when it takes so long.
Same here. I HATE minigunners! Especially when there's 4 of them, and you've used up all your traps. Or when you've already issued a voice command, and the brute won't fall for the same trick twice, or your communications have been cut off after 3 uses, and there's still a minigunner remaining.
The only thing that broke Arkham Knight for me was the Deathstroke "battle". I had no problems with the PC version or the overused Batmobile sequences. But GOD, you don't put Deathstroke in a Cobra tank and call it a boss fight.
I actually liked having the Batmobile the way it was, I really did. But if you ask me, if they were to do the same Deathstroke battle, they could've added boss fights after the Deathstroke side missions, like the mines could be tanks, the checkpoints could be a cqc and the outposts in the sky could be some kind of like combo of both or a cqc on rooftops like I would love that

It would be okay if the rest of the story was different. But it's the same story all the time. That's why I prefer Arkham Origins over Arkham City, because Arkham City was basically Arkham Asylum when it comes to story. Is the lack of new features in Origins disappointing? For sure. But not as disappointing as a repeating story.

Yes, for the most part it doesn't bother me that much, but there are definitely points in the game where the saves are frustratingly far apart. With the excavator fight you get a save after each tunnel, but with the cobra tanks you have to wipe all of them out in order to get a save.
When you kicking some bosses ass and their henchmen come along. I don't mind two or three at first but then helicopters keep carrying them in and it gets so annoying

ive found that most arkham players love the criminal dialogue. gliding back and forth can be very boring and the funny dialogue can make it more fun and can give you a laugh. i think its just you who hates the dialogue
Don't forget the riddler bot fights, how you can hold move in the direction of your colour, but it hits the other playable character's colour and gives you damage. Especially on Knightmare mode.

I agree to 99% of this. The issue I have with Batman Arkham Knight is that we can't do certain types of things and use certain kinds of weapons but the voice synthesyzer part for Albert King you must stay hidden in the Vents not behind walls in the Vents and don't get me started with the brutes and enemies that tackle you.

The main story mode in Arkham knight is amazing. However the most wanted side missions aernt that great and it gets to a point where they become very tedious and you just dont want to play anymore.
Some of the most wanted missions are disappointing, like Hush or Deathstroke for example. You just start the mission, and a few seconds later, it's over.
I hate when I stun a brute and when I’m beating him down, some random ass other guy punches me and resets the beat down I had on the brute Hopefully y’all understand
Best boss fights ,loved the story . My personal favorite loved Bane, love troy baker playing joker. Only flaw, the glitches and combos end with you getting hit because the company stated you are still a learning batman lol🤦🏽♂️and the electrocutioner gloves having continuity issues. They were so good he should've used them forever.

And how the Batmobile was overused didnt help matters. im even tired of the combat system. supposedly this the last "arkham" game. I hope whoever makes the next batman gives us a completely different game especially with different fighting mechanics with an actual moves list not just mostly spamming one attack button and counter button when prompted. ya know...i want more control of what batman is doing not the game dictating when batman is going to kick or headbutt or punch. I want heavy and light attacks etc.

I’m surprised they didn’t add the absolute frustration of some of the combat and predator challenges. Especially the joker carnival one in Arkham city where you need to get 1,000,000 combat points or the extreme predator challenges that need to be done in a specific route that takes 30 minutes to get right
This list is a general list on the entire fan base, so putting it at 1 would be factually incorrect as some people love it. I don't see the hat for riddler trophies, they're a hundred percent side missions. You don't need to get them and if you want them than you shouldn't get to winge about them being hard.
I got up to 99% jailed in arkham knight....I couldn't get past all the riddler challenges. In terms of game completion, the highest I have gotten is 119%.
The Cobra tanks were barely an inconvenience for me, even on NG+ when the game forces you to play on the hardest difficulty, they weren’t that hard or inconvenient for me, just saying 🤷♂️
Totally agree with you about the Deathstroke appearance being so disappointing in knight. Especially since the fight w him in orgins is probably my favorite fight in the series.
I mean I saw it coming but it still disappointed me, deathstroke says something along the lines of "you'll have to fight my tank and it'll have an actual man in it" (it's been so long bro) but then when you destroy the tank he comes out like they're gonna have an epic hand to hand fight but nah batman just says nope and tosses his ass in the tankmobile
I was still hopeful through the battle I was like “now the tank will blow up and we’ll fight... we’ll fight... there it comes... really close now...” and he came out of the tank and I raised my arms like YESSSSS buuuut... That’s it.
Deathstroke in origins wasn’t anything special either. For a “trained assassin/super soldier” all you get is the same beatdown animation 4 times in a row.
In Arkham City, when you have a good combo streak goin and then the thug with the electric stun baton creeps up and you hit X to attack someone else then it auto corrects you to hit them😂😂😂
The tank battle is too much, i remember when batman saves barbara and say the batmobile is destroyed, i shout thank God, but then Lucius has a spare, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I actually don't mind the Batmobile all that much, aside from the racing bits and drifting. So naturally, I was sad to loose the batmobile in the subway tunnels. But the new color scheme is tacky as hell! Seriously? light grey with yellow highlights?
I loved the Riddler trophies in every Arkham game except Knight, when all of the sudden the Riddler had an enormous budget and he transformed the Gotham sewer system into an elaborate trapped race track for Batman. What. The. Hell.
The trophies are still there in Arkham Knight and there are very few tracks but they are all done very well. Also none of it is mandatory, neither are the majority of tank battles. IF you absolutely need to 100% the game though the content is there. The main problem is the over use of the batmobile with boss battles.
The things I hate most are when you fight stun stick/electric guys without the remote electrical charge, and when thugs are able to track you as you swing between 10 vantage points in 3 seconds. Or when they just randomly see you 30 feet above them on a vantage point
Aw man! I feel that! That final Joker battle in Arkham Asylum was so frustrating without the REC gun, and disarm and destroy. And yes! thugs being able to track me from vantage points is frustrating as hell!

@@ringofdreal1374 They could have just given us a setting to disable it. It doesn't really add anything to the immersion having the same 4 or 5 criminals yapping everywhere you go. It's a bit like some of the roof tops seemingly showing up no matter where I went in the city repeatedly. It made the entire city seem a lot smaller than it really is.
Not to mention they would sometimes hint on some sidemissions

That happens often in Arkham Asylum. When the thugs are "panicing" (after you take down some of their mates), they are so nervous and keep looking around non-stop... And when there are more of them left, its almost impossible to slowly take down one without alarming the others.😕

I don't really have a problem with any of these. The main thing I absolutely HATE is when you want to attack the one guy right next to you but instead Batman jumps across the universe to attack the one standing in the corner picking his nose. It's SUPER frustrating when you want to maintain that combo but instead of hitting the guy you wanted you attack some guy with a shield or electric baton and lose the combo. Ugh so many times where that happened I'm just ranting at my TV.

I actually like it when the criminals talk. Brings more life to the game. What's boring is having thugs just doing their thing and just moving around. What makes me mad in Arkham series is the Riddler Batmobile challenge. Its unecessarily difficult.
Yep, I never did get that last one completed. I got stuck on the last lap of the last challenge. I probably should go back with the replacement batmobile as I think it is a bit better than the one that you start with and knowing a lot more about how to control it, but still.
Yeah, those were frustrating as hell! So much so, that I never did the Riddler AR challenges.

On my channel I've done Asylum, City, and Knight 100%. And I find the trophies ok, but man oh man can it get you after a while. Uhh 440 trophies, yet somehow arkham knight dragged more to me on that.
It’s great to see everybody hates the trophies because that’s kinda the point that is suppose to be made. To catch a killer, it would take a long time of constantly solving puzzles and picking up little clues.

The thing that annoyed the crap out of me is actually in city (hear me out) I love it, but the giant blocked off area in the middle of the map near wonder tower really angered me having to fly back and forth for no reason.

I actually really love the riddler in Arkham knight. I have fun doing all of his races, his puzzles, and searching for all of the trophies. My least favorite thing about this game is brutes and mini gunners. I feel like Batman shouldn’t have to punch a guy 20 times uninterrupted in order to take him down. I’m all for enemies where you have to take a different approach to beating them, but I don’t like it when it takes so long.

The only thing that broke Arkham Knight for me was the Deathstroke "battle".
I had no problems with the PC version or the overused Batmobile sequences.
But GOD, you don't put Deathstroke in a Cobra tank and call it a boss fight.

That's why I prefer Arkham Origins over Arkham City, because Arkham City was basically Arkham Asylum when it comes to story. Is the lack of new features in Origins disappointing? For sure. One of my biggest nitpicks of the series is lack of manual saves. Yeah auto saves are good but I like having the option of manual saves
Yes, for the most part it doesn't bother me that much, but there are definitely points in the game where the saves are frustratingly far apart. With the excavator fight you get a save after each tunnel, but with the cobra tanks you have to wipe all of them out in order to get a save.
Personally, I prefer manual save over auto save.
Cause then I have more control of when I can save, and not loose a good chunk of my progress.
When you kicking some bosses ass and their henchmen come along. I don't mind two or three at first but then helicopters keep carrying them in and it gets so annoying

ive found that most arkham players love the criminal dialogue. gliding back and forth can be very boring and the funny dialogue can make it more fun and can give you a laugh. i think its just you who hates the dialogue

I agree to 99% of this. The issue I have with Batman Arkham Knight is that we can't do certain types of things and use certain kinds of weapons but the voice synthesyzer part for Albert King you must stay hidden in the Vents not behind walls in the Vents and don't get me started with the brutes and enemies that tackle you.

one think that really pissed me off when i got to riddler in arkham knight is that he’s like “find all my trophy’s around the city then we can fight. then i look at my map after not doing a single one all game and i had 260 trophy’s to find... brutal

The main story mode in Arkham knight is amazing. However the most wanted side missions aernt that great and it gets to a point where they become very tedious and you just dont want to play anymore.
That really was only the riddler most wanted for me honestly the rest of them are pretty good
Some of the most wanted missions are disappointing, like Hush or Deathstroke for example.
You just start the mission, and a few seconds later, it's over.
I hate when I stun a brute and when I’m beating him down, some random ass other guy punches me and resets the beat down I had on the brute

Batman begins had a better story than all of the Arkham games combined except maybe Knight.
Brutes can be easily dealt with just a few combos and do the special combo takedown though.

Best boss fights ,loved the story . My personal favorite loved Bane, love troy baker playing joker.
Only flaw, the glitches and combos end with you getting hit because the company stated you are still a learning batman lol🤦🏽♂️and the electrocutioner gloves having continuity issues. They were so good he should've used them forever.
Oh and using deathstroke in the 1 vs . 100 thing was uber fun too

after playing basically the same exact 4 times now, at this point im really tired of the gameplay formula of these Arkham games. And how the Batmobile was overused didnt help matters. im even tired of the combat system. supposedly this the last "arkham" game. I hope whoever makes the next batman gives us a completely different game especially with different fighting mechanics with an actual moves list not just mostly spamming one attack button and counter button when prompted. ya know...i want more control of what batman is doing not the game dictating when batman is going to kick or headbutt or punch. I want heavy and light attacks etc.

I’m surprised they didn’t add the absolute frustration of some of the combat and predator challenges. Especially the joker carnival one in Arkham city where you need to get 1,000,000 combat points or the extreme predator challenges that need to be done in a specific route that takes 30 minutes to get right
Riddler trophies deserve to be number 1 to be hated
This list is a general list on the entire fan base, so putting it at 1 would be factually incorrect as some people love it. I don't see the hat for riddler trophies, they're a hundred percent side missions. You don't need to get them and if you want them than you shouldn't get to winge about them being hard.

Just do them while playing ng+. Trophies are shared for both game modes so you can finish 200% if you don't mind playing the game all over again...

I got up to 99% jailed in arkham knight....I couldn't get past all the riddler challenges. In terms of game completion, the highest I have gotten is 119%.
The Cobra tanks were barely an inconvenience for me, even on NG+ when the game forces you to play on the hardest difficulty, they weren’t that hard or inconvenient for me, just saying 🤷♂️
One thing I found made the cobra tanks easier to beat was the drone virus.
Although it takes 2 bars of weapon energy to hack a cobra tank.
Arkham City is one of the best games ever made

I mean I saw it coming but it still disappointed me, deathstroke says something along the lines of "you'll have to fight my tank and it'll have an actual man in it" (it's been so long bro) but then when you destroy the tank he comes out like they're gonna have an epic hand to hand fight but nah batman just says nope and tosses his ass in the tankmobile
I was still hopeful through the battle I was like “now the tank will blow up and we’ll fight... we’ll fight... there it comes... really close now...” and he came out of the tank and I raised my arms like YESSSSS buuuut... That’s it.
The deathstroke fight in knight in my opinion was disappointing
Deathstroke in origins wasn’t anything special either. For a “trained assassin/super soldier” all you get is the same beatdown animation 4 times in a row.
To this day, I'm still playing Arkham Knight, it's just too good!

In Arkham City, when you have a good combo streak goin and then the thug with the electric stun baton creeps up and you hit X to attack someone else then it auto corrects you to hit them😂😂😂

The tank battle is too much, i remember when batman saves barbara and say the batmobile is destroyed, i shout thank God, but then Lucius has a spare, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I actually don't mind the Batmobile all that much, aside from the racing bits and drifting.
So naturally, I was sad to loose the batmobile in the subway tunnels.
But the new color scheme is tacky as hell! Seriously? light grey with yellow highlights?
I loved the Riddler trophies in every Arkham game except Knight, when all of the sudden the Riddler had an enormous budget and he transformed the Gotham sewer system into an elaborate trapped race track for Batman. What. The. Hell.
Well, he had budget because he had the support of the Arkham Knight. Remember that it all started with a meeting months before the events of the game.
But I think Batman as an detective would notice that someone is doing renovation of the sewers.

The trophies are still there in Arkham Knight and there are very few tracks but they are all done very well. Also none of it is mandatory, neither are the majority of tank battles. IF you absolutely need to 100% the game though the content is there. The main problem is the over use of the batmobile with boss battles.
Riddler trophies were only fun in Arkham Asylum. Only Arkham game I finished 100%.
I finished all the Arkham games to 100% it took me hours but I finally got it done and I felt like I accomplished something
i 100% all 4 arkham games and i got 100% achievement in City and knight :) and i miss like 4 or 5 achievements in asylum
That's because they disnt have so many of them and they didnt do races and puzzles to get them.

The things I hate most are when you fight stun stick/electric guys without the remote electrical charge, and when thugs are able to track you as you swing between 10 vantage points in 3 seconds. Or when they just randomly see you 30 feet above them on a vantage point
Aw man! I feel that! That final Joker battle in Arkham Asylum was so frustrating without the REC gun, and disarm and destroy.
And yes! thugs being able to track me from vantage points is frustrating as hell!
