easy method of getting to that chest under the forge, 'grab' a bowl from one of the tables right near the forge ( don't steal it you gotta be 'holding' it in Skyrim terms ) and then run at the back wall right where the pillar and wall meet. bam, you just clipped through the wall and you're right at the forge, no long walk needed.

In Pokemon Colosseum, there's a really weird, but extremely useful exploit, For this to work you need two different types of Pokeballs in your bag. On your first Pokemon's turn, you select and throw the Pokeball you want to use. Then, on the second's, you go into your bag, and swap the order of Pokeballs in your bag so that the one you threw is in a different position on the list. The result is that even though you used the Pokeball, the amount in your inventory will not decreased. You can do this to essentially have infinite Master Balls.
2 more mentions: 1. The Tem shop in Undertale. Very helpful in farming gold. 2. The swim everywhere glitch in Spyro 2. I was able to do that in Mystic Marsh, Sunny Beach, and most notably, in Breeze Harbor, which helps cheese the “trouble with the trolley” orb.

Do y'all remember debug mode in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire? You could play as a stormtrooper or a wampa. We definitely weren't supposed to find that, but it was pretty damn cool.
What about the game Sacred? In this game when you first launch it you can do the following: You can open the treasure chests (or whatever it is around your character that gives you loot) and by doing so you get your first skill/spell and items. Then instead of continueing on with the story you export your character (notice that i said EXPORT, not save your game). Then start the story game from the main menu and load you character. Open the chests/stones or whatever and take the loot and repeat the process for high level skills/spells and items and a lot of gold. Gold you get either from the chests (you are at the very beginning of the game, so not many monsters around to give you gold) and from the items you gather from those same chests you sell them when your inventory/bag is full. As i said, you repeat the process as many times as needed. :) It might seem to bothersome or boring, but that is only because this is a written discription. :-\ In any case, i don't know if this is a glitch or the then developers forgot or didn't see this gap in the programming, but i personally misused it to the max. XD Ohhh, and for those that don't know or don't remember...skills/spells have their own levels seperate from the character's level. Meaning that a character could 1 level with a skill of 150 level. XD
Metro Last Light Redux had an exploit for probably the tougest trophy in the game being "Test Complete". This required you to complete 5 waves of enemies with the last wave including multiple Librarians (If you know Metro, you know how tough that is). The exploit (which I believe has been patched) allowed you to get the trophy in 1 minute without firing a shot!
A well known exploit glitch which I'm sure had been long patched out is the dragon head glitch in dark souls 2. Basically if you trek thru the swamp and get that stone that when equipped, using the action button corresponding would turn your head into a dragon head and you'd blow fire for as long as you held the button. Very underwhelming damage And all. BUT..if you did a trick where you went to press the button to blow fire and then open your inventory at the perfect timing before you actually started blowing, and switched that inventory slot into a soul gem, depending on the size of the gem, and exit while still holding the button it would start giving you experience points for as long as you held the button down. The larger the gem the faster you gain xp. Now it's been a while since i done this, i might have the setup wrong. Cuz i also seem to remember assigning one button for the dragon head stone and a separate button for the soul gem and simply having to fat finger both buttons and holding the dragon head one down. But essentially you know you got it right if the animation shows your head change and you hold your hands next to your head but no fire comes out and the xp starts going up. All i remember is the timing is tricky but you could become op pretty quick if you wanted. Just had to get numb fingers from holding it down long enough lol
If you quick save then punch Greymane and reload. The stock is reloaded. This Dawnstar with Khajiit caravan, only the box near southeast of town near the mine entrance and you got to time it when Khajiit are in town. The storage reset works with vendors
as far as the skyrim "whiterun chest" you can access like 8 chests in whiterun including the alchemist, ysolda, the bannered mares inkeep, all the vendor stalls and iirc belethor(these are all WAY HARDER to access) there is also 4 other chests hidden around the world just invisible scattered in various places. these are the khajit travelling caravan merchants. the college of winterhold is, however, WAY better than all of these. it is also the hardest glitch ive ever had the displeasure of executing in a video game. with insane teq/prep u CAN make it significantly easier but it ofc is still hard to do... but you can access every single master lvl mages inventory and all students(im SURE u can use the same bug to find ALL KINDS of stuff but thatd almost require a computer simulation to truly explore. if youre curious, the town with the merunes(ik i spelled that all kinds of wrong) razor quest start(cant recall the hold nor the groups name surrounding the razor) left of the mine entrance behind the big rock north west corner theres a flat rock int eh ground, check around where those corners point. for winterhold go to the towers where they bunk and use a plate and run into the wall while holding the plate against the wall backwards and 1/4-1/4 the way between the "seams" in the walls(to the right from the seam, close to middle of wall) between the rooms. look up and right quickly(think twitch sniping) and then walk slightly back parallel to the wall and jiggle the camera left n right. you will "stick n slide" as if on way too steep a slope. you ARE falling thru the wall QUICKLY spin your cam and locate a chest and open it as u fall(timing is VERY precise) empty it even if overencumbered. you will respawn in the center light pillar. you can easily gear a mage at start of game this way OR make approx 5k at lvl 1(and hella speech lvls) most of these chests are considered owned and hence give stolen items.
You can also use a platter and hold it up outside your inventory and run directly at it while holding it against the wall right next to the forge. Takes some time off running. However the platter, or as I call it the Magic Mirror glitch works basically anywhere. You can use it to bypass dungeons if you know where the hidden entrance is or pass through gates if you don't want to solve the puzzles in some places. Whirlwind Sprint is especially handy for this cuz some doors or walls are too thick to just rub through, but a sprint shout takes care of that right quick.
In Command & Conquer you could build a line of sand bags to the enemy base and start deploying turrets there. You can sell the ones you didn't need an move like a snake to the enemy.
I never knew about that particular Resident Evil Code Veronica glitch. The only one I ever used (on the PS2 version that I had anyway) was the much, much easier to pull off exploit where the knife tended to somehow do way more damage than it should if you used it right, which was generally as simple as slashing downward at extremely close range. You'd know if it was working because the slashing sound would play rapidly instead of once per stab. My theory was that it ended up registering a hit every frame instead of once per attack, but I can't say at all for sure.
I remember in GTA 2, tapping to throw a grenade while mid jump would cause you jump again before touching the ground, and you could keep repeating it effectively making you fly. So you could climb some building, jump off and fly around the map. Being a top down 2d game it was hard to tell how high you were so landing was risky XD
Christmas 2024. Who’d have thought 10 years ago that I’d be saying this: Just downloaded Skyrim for the 241st time. Gonna be a fun night. I’ll check back in 2050
The fact the chests in Skyrim still HAVE the loot inside them... but then starfield comes and bethesda's "like....nah!!! Fam you ain't getting these." And emptied the chests
There was also an infinite money glitch in Dragon Age Deuce. I honestly think that I was the first one to make a TH-cam video on it. One of my oldest vids.
That's like the two spells in morrowind you can buy and combine to break your stats, one spell is in the starting town (Seyda Neen) The next is the first Story Quest Town you're told to go to (Balmora)
As the QV Director said to us when I was working for a major game franchise, "If you're going to play our game like an a**hole, there's really not much we can do." Remember that to this day.
Also i miss the cyberpunk glitch where you could get the painting from space at the end of the side quest that sells for i think 25k and just infinitely sell that painting while buying it back for 25 bucks. Can't remember exactly, and there was a wonky setup, but if you did it right you could resell that painting over and over again at a terminal, exit, come back and take the painting for nothing or almost nothing, rinse repeat
Skyrim has 6 of those chests that are accessible without no-clipping, the devs knew about how tou can get to em since the game first launched, they added it probably for thise who don't like grinding
There's a way easier method for the whiterun chest. Just go to the little room next to the main gate, jump on the barrels, hop onto the wall and you'll fall through a gap, then run around the wall to right behind skyforge, and bam you're there. It's way easier than this method. You also don't have to fast travel. Just walk out of the wall by the archery targets.
For Eorlund's chest, I had no idea there was another way, and I just got good at jumping out at the gate Also, there's a spot around jorvaskr where you can pop up through the ground
My favorite Dragon Age 2 exploit was the one that allowed you to turn in a quests item multiple times and get unlimited money and exp. Max lvl right at the start potentially.
When it comes to floor exploits in Ultima Online the one where you trap a ghost in the middle of four chests is still the funniest. Ghosts could walk through doors but not chests and if you got one to walk through a recall portal (usually by telling them the portal went to a healing shrine) into a spot surrounded on four sides by chests they had to either scrap the character or wait potentially long periods for one of the player-admin types (I forgot what those guys were called, but they were unpaid in game mods basically). Yes it was griefing, but it was also very funny.
The arbitrary code execution part is completely incorrect btw, but not judging this stuff is complex. But is how a lot of console jailbreaks happened, buffer overflows in specific games allow unsigned attacker controlled code to be executed on the device, and then it can be used to modify system parts of the device - but this also requires additional exploits against the OS too.
Finally got a new years resolution. After hundreds of hours and having every iteration on every platform it came out for (and yes, all three versions for ps4) Im going to finish the main storyline of Skyrim
I actually remember the ultima online head stacking xD I would literally never have thought of it if it wasn't for friends at lan parties back then... I also would never have remembered it was a thing if it wasn't for the list and the comment xD haven't thought about ultima in ages xD
Yeah I always used the barrel and opining beside the entrance to Whiterun to get that chest, but now I'm kind of mad that there was a hole I could have just used instead.
With the Skyrim one I never knew about that hole in the map. I’ve always jumped onto the barrel in the left tower next to the gate then jumped from that onto of the wall and walked off into the map
In Phantasy Star Online there were doors that needed to be opened with pressure plates. but if a mate got disconnected or whatever, you'd have to quite the mission because there wouldn't be enough people to hit all the pressure plates. ... or you could de-equip your weapon, get into just the right position against the door, go Bruce Lee on the door in just the right way and you'd clip on through
Theres lot of cool bugs in Fallout 76 u can abuse. Like glitching throught walls in strangers base to raid their water farm or junk extractors for example, bug that lets u glitch underground to build ur camp underground, several build mechanic bugs that lets u make unique builds, u can use the build underground bug to farm scorched at fissure sites
Wonder if there some one mentioned that You can duplicate any items in Diablo 2... In single player unfortunately, but it work also for mods. Simple manipulation with files thou! Just take needed item into character inventory, in folder with saved characters You need copy-paste ".d2s" file with name of that character in name if I remember correct and than load character and unload item into stash, after that quit character delete old ".d2s" file and delete "Copy*" part in name of copied ".d2s" so it matched deleted file than load character and there still be item You taken AND that You put in stash. This sound complicated, but when You actually do this it fast and easy. In worst scenario You can revert deletion of this file because miss one character in name of... Ugh... Character, personage or forgot take in/off item... Diablo 2 are hellishly grindy, so if You not grind Your teeth in Battlenet this trick save You teeth in playing offline.😅
ALso ES Oblivion things: When you max acrobatics AND keep the spring heel jack boots. you can jump high enough to get on top of the imperial capitals tallest buildings and either fall through the map or jump over the walls and run around in unloaded background areas outside the walls.
Last one kind of feels like how you can beat all of super marioa bros (3 i think) by placing koopa shells in very specific places. In essence what you were doing was writing code to teleport you to the end of the game
I really wish Pokemon would create a feature or story element in one game that calls back to the old glitches of Red and Blue. Like, MissingNo is the legendary Pokemon of that installment and you get an 8F item that allows you to "glitch" your way through story beats, or maybe the gimmick of that title is "Glitched Pokemon" that you need to "Decode" in order to capture. I imagine it could be really interesting if done right.
In Skyrim there's a way to leave the border without hacking or moding. can go under the map go to the white gold tower. It's really cool to get under the map

8:30 10 year UO vet here i can tell you the table part was true but i never heard about using heads to get over the tables tho. Thanks
For the forge, I just take a short bucket, clip through the hall's back door, turn right, and walk right to the chest.
For Eorlund's chest, I had no idea there was another way, and I just got good at jumping out at the gate
Also, there's a spot around jorvaskr where you can pop up through the ground
I miss the money glitch in Cyberpunk 2077 so much. But, it's not absolutely necessary since the 2.0 update. Clothes can be found everywhere now
But I do wish they kept Johnny's arm on you like in the initial release of the game
I’m old enough to remember the double mint gum commercials
You picked a confusing one for Pokémon, when the missing No. was right there for the taking.
That double-mint commercial brought back memories.
My favorite Dragon Age 2 exploit was the one that allowed you to turn in a quests item multiple times and get unlimited money and exp. Max lvl right at the start potentially.
I loved Code Veronica enough to not need the memory card. The part about the healing got me shook.
Falcon always takes everything that isn't nailed down in a video game.
2:17 was thinking about this during the entire Skyrim part, so happy it was included
Merry christmas gameranx
hope your day was great!
Merry Christmas falcon!
Same to you!
I actually remember the ultima online head stacking xD I would literally never have thought of it if it wasn't for friends at lan parties back then...
I also would never have remembered it was a thing if it wasn't for the list and the comment xD haven't thought about ultima in ages xD
Falcon: 'These stupid things were the bane of my existence when I was younger..."
Back when he was just a fledgling.
Yeah I always used the barrel and opining beside the entrance to Whiterun to get that chest, but now I'm kind of mad that there was a hole I could have just used instead.
Hahaha that's amazing you remember them goofy double mint gum commercials!!! Wow do I miss the 90s! Happy holidays everyone.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!🎉
With the Skyrim one I never knew about that hole in the map. I’ve always jumped onto the barrel in the left tower next to the gate then jumped from that onto of the wall and walked off into the map
In Phantasy Star Online there were doors that needed to be opened with pressure plates. but if a mate got disconnected or whatever, you'd have to quite the mission because there wouldn't be enough people to hit all the pressure plates. ... or you could de-equip your weapon, get into just the right position against the door, go Bruce Lee on the door in just the right way and you'd clip on through
MERRY CHRISTMAS GAMERANX
Diablo 2 are hellishly grindy, so if You not grind Your teeth in Battlenet this trick save You teeth in playing offline.😅
thanks for the double mint gum reference, I now know how old Falcon is 😅
That double gum reference!😂. Pure Gold
ALso ES Oblivion things: When you max acrobatics AND keep the spring heel jack boots. you can jump high enough to get on top of the imperial capitals tallest buildings and either fall through the map or jump over the walls and run around in unloaded background areas outside the walls.
"Double your armor, double your fun! aHEheHeHEEHe ᴵ'ᵐ ᵒˡᵈ"
Merry Christmas I’m here this morning! ❤️🎄
Same to you!
Merry Christmas Falcon and Gameranx crew!
Merry Christmas!
In Skyrim there's a way to leave the border without hacking or moding. can go under the map go to the white gold tower. It's really cool to get under the map
Happy holidays, Gameranx and everyone. Stay safe and take care.
