👭What could be better.... my 2 fav’s! I am decluttering too... but none of my thrift stores are accepting donations , I didn’t find this out until AFTER I filled my van....FILLED my van!🤦🏻♀️ now I have to unload it all and bring it back in!!!!😩

The hardest part of decluttering for me is getting the stuff OUT of the house to the car! Anyone else have baskets of stuff that just needs to leave 😩
I have most of the collection collecting in the car right now even worsened because drop off locations are closed.
Put the baskets in the garage and I'm pretty sure your husband will take them to donate or throw them away. For men it's easier.
Yes, they often stay in a box in the garage for like a month before I take them to goodwill and now you can’t even drop stuff off because they are closed. 🥴

YES! My bags with decluttered things are sitting, since last summer, in a room upstairs, that we don't use.

Cass you should never feel like a fraud you are really good at helping people ( it’s like the best landscaper out there you have to see pictures of his work because if you looked at his house you would see tools everywhere, dead plant ,empty bins and pots etc. not his love of creativity and beauty.) Also people love your stories because you are a very good story teller, someone else can tell the same story that you do and it will fall flat , you are born with a special gift please keep sharing 😃

I’m embarrassed to tell this......I decluttered my spices, I found one expired in 2000! 20 years old! 😷 Eww!
I was cooking at my mom's house and went for oregano... expired in 97! I tossed it out. You would have thought I tossed out their wedding photo! 😂
I had to declutter my mom's kitchen. She had stock cubes that expired in 1980....😝
Spices expire?? Who new! On my way to check, this could be scat....
Sometimes I buy them in bulk and reuse the container with the expired date lol maybe that's what happened lol

Well. This collab just made my day/week. LOVE you both. And we would never leave you, Cas! I took Cas’ course last fall and am starting my own professional organizing business. I stopped ironing my jeans thanks to Dawn! It’s true - the wrinkles fall out after wearing for a bit. And - JOE, JOE, JOE! Come on, Joe. We’d love to meet you. Maybe Tom and Joe could do a video together one day!!

Thank you for this very refreshing reminder that "less is more." I am a messy, cluttery, "stuff-mart!" It is so hard to toss things that could possibly be transformed into crafts!

So enjoyed your video with Dawn from The.Minimal.Mom! I can so relate to everything said. I was a super messy person for years then found Dawn’s channel and decluttering has so helped me. My sister is a minimalist and I told her at the beginning of my journey I could not part with my sewing room and I remember her telling me “no you don’t have to because you love and use it”...let me tell you I was thankful for that! Now since I have gotten rid of lots more stuff in the house I find more time to create in my sewing room because of it!

OMG my favorites together, so before I watched this video I watched one of each, went to the garage and tackled my cleaners. I found more lysol wipes and things I forgot about. Now after a break I plan on trying to find my kitchen counters. Thanks ladies, I hope you do this again. Love you both and would never leave either. So nice to see a house lived in and not fake cleaning.lol

It’s amazing we have anything left in our houses. I feel like I declutter my kitchen all the time. And I swear you do too! Just goes to show how this is all a process and there is always room for improvement. And look at you, all nimble climbing up on your counter.

Dawn, when you said that you were a minimalist but you were messy, and you explain how having less things helps you keep everything clean better, it really resonated with me! I am a person like Cas, who would never think she could ever be a minimalist, but if it helps keep the house clean, maybe I should give it a try! Cass and Dawn, I couldn't stop laughing! I so needed a good laugh at 11:33 pm Monday evening! I just stepped out to the backyard patio to listen to the quiet after cleaning all the dishes, putting away everything, setting up for the morning. These times are so stressful, after a day with my four year old grandson who is on the Autism spectrum, helping his grammie make homemade french onion soup, my daughter in her room working from home, my 75 year old husband coughing his heart out with the flu, and my 55th birthday in a few weeks, no celebration happening for that... LOL!!! It was nice to hear ladies talking about real life! Thank you for sharing the fun, get Joe to do a Q and A! Bless you both, stay safe and healthy!

This has been so much fun. I watched both of your videos!! I don’t iron, but there’s a super spray by downy that helps wrinkles disappear! I’ve been decluttering for over 5 years and I’m still at it. I could’ve filled 2-3 houses 🤪. Each week, almost each day, something goes into my Goodwill pile!
