Justin Wong is a tactician. Daigo is a technician. They're very different kind of players. Justin learns the entire roster and all the match-ups. Daigo grinds one main per game until every frame of his character is an extension of himself.
I will never, never dispute how godlike is Justin in Marvel, no doubt the greatest Marvel player of all time ... but also, a lot of Marvel 2 players look so lost without Top Tiers, like they barely even know how the game work most of the time ... i guess they've been playing 6 characters for too many years now and they don't even remember the basics. I truly appreciate not only Justin playing low tier characters, but also the growing popularity of the ratio system, all this is actually making me want to play MvC2 again ... which is weird because i didn't liked this game since most of the time, you were only facing Storm and Sentinel over, and over, and over again. Great content Justin.

I just don't understand why Capcom didn't give Ryu his blade kick that could bounce characters off the wall and into his ultra shryoken. I feel like that would of even things out a bit more. They gave him his blade kick in 3rd strike which came before MVC2 so what the heck??
Yeah Capcom dropped the ball with alot of characters. That's why to win at the highest level alot of characters just can't be used. I'm a low/mid tier guy and it just disgusts me how bad Ryu is in this game. You would think the face of Capcom would be one of the best in all the fighting games he's in.

I would use this OG tier when I play with friends and we pick low tier and still win. I’ll let them use 1 top tier player and then push the line to two top tier and still give my friends a challenge. My friends all are use to playing with top tier characters. I refine the low tier and get better. I was good at grabs and be quick with it and they couldn’t believe it.
with ryu: do crouching short x2 and call out akuma tatsu assist at the same time. then do tatsu with ryu with roundhouse and let it hit twice. then do the hadoken super in the air. easy 50% or more damage.
Lol... In about 2001 or so, I wandered into gamefaqs and read some MvC2 guides... Then next time I played my older brother I pissed him off so much he broke a controller cause of the air tatsu glitch.
Hey wong can you make a series for mvc2 where you learn everyone's infinite? Ryu and akuma both have corner semi infinites, ryus is when you're in the corner and you have them in a tatsu super then do light punch, light punch into another tatsu super over and over. Akumas is a little trickier because you gotta go to the corner and do his tatsu super then when they land you do c.lk, s.lp, s.rh then repeat.
