Yeah, unfortunately that episode is the highlight of the whole season, and when your best episode is 3, yeah, not a great sign. This season should have had 8-10 episodes instead of 13, they really didn't have enough story for 13.
It's a solid episode, one of the best this season, but I couldn't help being a little bored by it. It's pretty much the retelling of 'Assault on Precinct 13', down to the twists. Still, I liked it well enough, even if it felt like I'd seen it already, especially the sheriff and the doctor characters.

I wish they hadn’t built up Billy’s face reveal because they are gonna be disappointed by it . Otherwise ,Ben Barnes does a good job in the role and the more psychological and even kinda sympathetic take on Billy works well to an extent . Overall though , I think Billy in S1 was better “Rachel “ grows on you as the season progresses .. Frank and her develop a nice father-daughter bond and it’s like Frank is given another chance to be a dad again ,it is one of my favorite aspects of the season.
Taimur Muggo I agree Billy’s face isn’t that messed up and he’s still relatively handsome. Ben Barnes acting to showcase the psychological fracturing is phenomenal though. Also Rachel falls into the trap of being a teenager. She’s moody and annoying and obviously doesn’t trust Frank. It took a lot of time for her to grow on me and even then....
I loved Amy as a character. So many people hate her and I really don’t see how. She’s funny, badass (as a certain scene later in the season shows), and has great chemistry with Frank in a father-daughter type relationship.

This is actually right out of Spawn; a disfigured black ops character with amnesia suffering bizarre flashbacks of a skull (hinting at the true identity of his assailant, a black ops colleague _and_ friend turned skull-themed gun-toting vigilante) hitting him like a freight train awake or asleep. The difference is he died and a Satan-figure was implanting those visions to torment and manipulate him.
That place is not a hotel, it’s a motel. That woman at the motel was doing her job and she did it well. And the woman was a doctor not a nurse. I didn’t think she was a nurse when I saw her, did the caption say nurse?

Actually yeah, I thought it was interesting that the subtitles have him as "Pilgrim" but I don't think anyone in the show ever refers to him as that. I could be wrong tho.
I love this show and the Punisher mythos but Eric is right, if there was a dude going around with a body count as high as Frank's and he was taking out bad guys left and right the way Frank does it would be national news and most people would know his face, no matter how many states away. But thats just th way fiction goes, you can't have everyone recognize him or the show wouldn't work.
i only got like six episodes into this season and i just haven gotten back to the show there's nothing thats really pulling me back to watch more not sure if i'll force myself to watch the rest of the season before your reactions or if i'll just watch the rest from your reactions its not getting a season 3 so i'm not sure yet i guess i have an few weeks to think about it tho
