Fun fact Jon actually broke his hand during the bar fight scene and they worked it into the script.
The madlad ignored it, torn his ligaments and dislocated his shoulder afterwards, before finally getting it checked...

Agreed 100% with John being made to play Frank. He's so flawless at it and I guess it shows how much ppl love him and use his version of Frank on so many things when we only got 2 seasons of this show!

Oh one more comment, there’s an interview on Jimmy Kimmel that came out this week (and available on the Kimmel channel) Jon was talking about the bathroom fight scene and he actually broke his hand, and he didn’t tell the stunt coordinator, he did ask for it to be switched to his left hand but the other guy said no it will be fine lol. The fight scene went on including a guy repeated bashing Jon’s hand to release a knife from it, which then tore his ligaments. And then another scene where he had to grab a guy as he falls, again Jon asked for it to switch to his left hand, was told no, so he’d already broken it, torn ligaments and that last stunt then dislocated his hand completely.
It’s so brutal but proves Jon Bernthal is prepared to go all out to make the show as badass for the fans as possible!

Was anybody else disappointed that we didn't get to see at least a partial series of Frank teamed up with Ringo? That was probably the worst tease ever.

A lot of this episode is carried by Bernthal's performance as a Frank Castle who's at peace with himself, which makes such an impact that you really want to see him be able to get back to it for the rest of the season. It's a hell of a way to get people invested.
Best line of the whole video is Steven saying “she better not hurt my frank” haha, great to see the punisher reactions again :)

As someone who has actually shot a full-auto MP5 and seen how effective it can be, I'd see that being effective in disrupting a vehicle ambush. Being able to blast 30 or so 9mm rounds quite surprisingly precisely in 1 seconds flat is a great ability to have.

I love this show so much. I wanted to watch along with you guys one episode at a time but I simply cannot wait a week for one more Punisher episode lol! I am really curious how long has passed since the end of season 1. I’m guessing when Russo wakes up he will ask how long it’s been so I’m sure we will find out.

Its a very different season to the first one and im not sure if its better but it sure is amazing. Found you guys reacting to punisher and cant wait for you guys to react to this season.
Also its been a year since season 1. Billy had a shard of glass shoved in his stomach and two broken limbs apart from his facial injuries. That stuff takes a lot of time to heal from.

And I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a scene like this handle female vs male fighters better. There was none of the typical reluctance of the hero to hit a woman, nor was there an undertone of chauvinist satisfaction of the hero punching out the badass woman. Just a straightforward fight. Very refreshing.

You notice that Frank instantly picks up on that team searching for the girl coming into the bar? It's an interesting, if subtle, bit of character development for him, since he talks in Daredevil S2 about blaming himself for missing the same sort of thing when his family was killed...he basically says it was his job to spot stuff like that to protect his family and that he failed to act even though he saw it, which is why he blames himself for his family dying...so it's nice to see that he's no longer ignoring that little "hey, something's not right with this scene" voice anymore.

Are your weekend shows only short season shows? Or can they be longer?
The weekend slot was Black Mirror & that has 4 seasons. With The Punisher back, Black Mirror is on hold. For their "live" slot on Mondays, they are watching The Haunting of Hill House, but that is only one season, but by the time The Walking Dead comes back, Hill House will be over. Then the premium slot is Breaking Bad...I don't know what episode they are currently on as I haven't kept up. I hope that answers your question!
**Edit** I just read the description above & realized they also react to Game of Thrones. I don't know when that comes back, but it will be the last season for that. Another show they watch is Stranger Things, season 3, which comes back in July.
For the game, maybe we can pick our favorite line or kill. For this episode, my kill would be the guys face breaking the sink. I can't imagine he'd survive. Not sure about the best line, there are some gems later. Just trying to help out.

That bar fight scene may be one of the best fight scenes I've seen in a while. There's a reason why so man people, myself included, consider The Punisher to be the best Marvel Netflix show.
