Combining the piggie content with the bunny content is fine with me. I know you are very busy and having two channels is double the work for you. Although my heart is with the piggies, I also enjoy seeing your rabbits. I just adore your channel and seeing any content you make is A-ok with me.

Please keep both pig and bun content on this Chanel! I have both myself. I have pretty much learned everything I know about piggies through your Chanel. I know very little about buns, and recently inherited the one I have. I look forward to learning all the stuff about buns too. First lesson I learned awhile ago from your site is that pigs and buns should NOT be kept together! I would have never known that. So thank you.
I don’t mind the bunny content. I actually have a bunny myself. I used to have guinea pigs but I don’t anymore. I would also love to see more of the products of the bunny room.
Hi Austin! One pro tip that I learned from volunteering with a rabbit rescue. We have a professional bonding service too. When you introduce the two buns, make sure it’s neutral and put them in a 2x2 overnight with no litterbox, then slowly expand over the next few days depending how they get along. No toys or hides for the first few weeks or they’ll get territorial. A lot of the advice on the internet suggests that you put them together for a few hours then separate which only resets your progress. Best of luck!
I agree. I’ve bonded both rabbits and guinea pigs and to me rabbit bonding was the most nerve racking. Thankfully my buns got along right from the get go. But I don’t think I slept much that weekend.
@@annieacevedocruz My rabbits literally fell in love at first sight. After a few weeks of side-by-siding I put them together in the more docile one's pen. There was a little bit of humping for the first few minutes and then they hopped in the litter box together and have been inseparable since. I think I must have had the easiest rabbit bonding in the world. @thepigroom I hope your rabbit bonding goes as smoothly as mine did!
@@longkitty1090 We both got lucky. I was mostly stressed out because of all the horrible bonding stories I heard. But mine were the same as yours. Love at first sight. Other than humping they were never were aggressive with each other throughout the entire bonding process. They’re still besties.
No need for 2 channels - just more work for you. Love both videos and it's not like it is difficult to skip past a particular video if it isn't someone's interest.

I don't know about other people but I really enjoy the rabbit content as much as piggie content. I don't get a lot of time to watch TH-cam so if you started a bunny channel I would have the best of intentions to watch it. I can't be sure that I'd have time to make my way over there. My vote is to stay on one channel, but you do what is best for you, your fur babies, and all of your fans. I love your content either way and admire your efforts to help the animal community at large. So thank you.

I found this channel from the bunny content and personally don't care for guinee pig stuff so a bunny channel on its own does sound like a great idea to me because that's all im here for lol
Good luck! Just a couple things. I’m not a rabbit expert, but I am a credentialed vet tech and have successfully bonded rabbits on multiple occasions. First (I’m betting you know this, but good to mention for those who do not), make sure both rabbits are vaccinated for rabbits hemorrhagic disease. RHDV2 is extremely contagious and even more deadly. Thankfully there is a highly effective vaccine. All rabbit owners should make this a priority for their pets, but especially anyone involved in rescuing rabbits with unknown histories. Second, it can take a couple months after neutering for hormones to subside. Since, male/male bonds tend to be the trickiest in the rabbit world giving Vinny enough time to chill post neuter may make your efforts more effective. Or at least help you to not to call it a bust too early. I love the residing by each other and I used the switching pens technique as well for my bonding process. You can also try feeding them by where the pens meet since eating together is a good sign among buns. Humping a little while bonding is ok, but no humping faces as delicate areas can get bittern. My last bit of advice is that when they do meet face to face you should have something to separate them that won’t get you bit. They have wicked sharp teeth and sometimes bite without paying attention to who they’re biting. I used a dustpan and it was great when they got into a squabble.
I think if you make a second channel, there will be a lot of pressure on you to keep up with content especially when you already have The Pig Room and I can imagine, busy with everyday life and especially your business with it booming. I think you should combine, but still have the focus on your Guinea pigs, but if we get to see buns, that’s just more of you and your lovely animals! I say whatever feels most natural for you, and what’s doable of course 😊

I was so scared when I bonded my 2 girls, a Holland lop and a lionhead. I sat there and watched them for hours. Luckily they got along really well and hated being separated
I really like the mix of buns and Ginnie pigs and to hear about how your dogs are doing aswell. Just love anything with fur on lol 😆 💕
I’ve actually seen people use the wooden / plastic dowel bird perches to keep cages apart for bonding! Gives them space, but doesn’t let them move the x pens closer to hurt each other, either. Just put the notches on each pen up on the top wire so they can’t reach it.
I watched a few of your videos here and there when you did the pig rescue. The bun rescue made me a subscriber. Would not bother splitting it.

Hi Austin I watch your videos on you tube, first your guinea pigs because I started getting my own boy guinea pigs of my own, I look forward to you videos of the rabbits as well as in January of this year I rescued 2 rabbits myself a mother and daughter when a neighbour moved and left them behind so I went and got them made a pen for them and now they are in their forever home, so good for you for rescuing those bunnies😊
