Presumably (?) starting this specialist series with Medieval is an impressively bold move. I can see how the fans of Burial and Hyperdub would embrace it
I'mma gonna get myself a few weeks to calm down and then I'll see. But I really do like the sounds. I'd rather have them as a sample pack for the deluge, buuut that's not an option.
@@Countachockula I'm going to be working on an occult rpg based around the lesser key of solomon and dark ages witchcraft, so this is gonna be perfect for the soundtrack
Loving this playlist. Already have the EP-133 but I’m getting jealous… What’s with all the hate towards TE, though? Isn’t supposed to be a playful thing? This is not supposed to be a super serious device made to save lives or anything
People can be self centred , and when something isn’t catered to them they are personally offended. I say if you don’t like it don’t buy it, one less material object to obsess about. I do understand the frustration over the price of the field series. I’m very privileged to be a beta tester and probably couldn’t afford these items otherwise. However these are indeed niche boutique luxury items. You can literally make a sick track with a 10$ phone app these days. I remember when computers weren’t up to par, buying an MPC for 2000$ at age 18 saving up my minimum wage and paying financing fees. It sucks not being able to have all the material items we want, but at least these days there’s nothing holding you back from creating music and expressing yourself.
Hey thanks so much! It’s all the stock samples, can’t remember the BPM or how low it can go tbh, but I would assume it can go from around 40-200 like most beat machines. Might say in the manual.
Hey, it takes a little more muscle memory dude to the limited screen, but if you’ve used an MPC or SP or any other sampler, it not really that much more difficult than what’s already out there.

i was definitely catching burial vibes. gloomy, rain-soaked, grey-scale sound palette. the medieval samples lend themselves well to it.
The best track on ep 1320 of all time
Wow thanks so much 🙏🏰💀
Love the vibe! Haunting and calming. Nice work!
Damn, that was dope. I bought one today, so keen.

@@RegebroRepairs only available on vinyl as a "sound pack"
@jack_rabbit I'll get that first and see. I don't need two portable samplers. 😀
I’m not positive, but I think the samples on the vinyl are different content from what’s on the machine. The vinyl is more like an “expansion”.
@@virtualflannel We'll see. In that case I guess I have to get the machine anyway. 😀
Magnifique!
Waiting patiently on mine
Me too ordered it the day it came out!

@jack_rabbit so ssiiiiiiccckkkkkkk. I'm writting a pathfinder adventure featuring classic monsters and gothic horror and this was an instabuy for me

This is so sick! What BPM is this? How low can it go? Is this stock samples or did you add some?

🗡🍺🔮
This makes me want to start making music - but I may start cheaper with a PO
POs are great! If you have an iPhone, Koala app is basically an sp404 and it’s very cheap, around 10$ I think. Can’t go wrong starting with koala.
@@virtualflannel Oh! I will check that out, thank you!!
