u rich as hell bro i've never seen these many teenage engineering products in one table
Nah, I just spend all my disposable income on music… never said I’m smart with my money 🫥
Don’t forget the table is also teenage engineering too probably 😉
Asides from the distraction of material stuff …the music!!
❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶❣️❣️❣️
Lovely creation 🫶🏼
Love it! Pls make more videos like this😊
Actually already working on the next one. I am just super slow 😅
Thanks for the comment, much appreciated
Just ordered an EP-133, can’t wait to start using it. Love your page man, keep it up.
Thanks for the kind words :)
And have fun with the KO, that thing sparks fun.
Ah man I love this - just bought one and can't wait for it to arrive after watching this!!
To choose a Yamato OST record is simply inspired! And that BASS. 😮 Having a K.O. II myself, I can attest that it sounds amazing, as you demonstrated here. I haven't made a video with mine yet, but you've inspired me to get on it! Cheers for sharing this.
That’s the kind of comment that makes my day. Thanks for the feedback, truly appreciated. This little box is awesome, just working on a little Silent Hill flip for the next video ✌🏻
That's the sample I would have gone for too ha! This is the second video I've seen that's made me want an EP 133 and I haven't wanted any new gear in ages. This looks like bags of fun. That last 20 seconds was beautiful.
Thanks! Yeah that sample spoke to me. Also the EP 133 sparks joy in a way that I haven’t had in a while. It’s very immediate and a bit weird with some quirks and strange workflow to get used to. If only they will add resampling. That’s what’s holding it back a bit imo.
Sick setup and dope sounds keep the creativity coming 👌 🔥
Thanks for the kind words, man! Doing my best to keep it up. Slow but steady ❤️
Star Blazers!!! Was one of my all time favourites growing up in the 80s.
Really? That’s awesome, seems to me like it wasn’t that popular compared to other shows of the time. 🫡
Not sure how popular it was, but it was on TV in Victoria, BC, Canada where I grew up in the 80s, and I watched the whole series. It was the only exposure to anime that I had back then. Not sure how it would hold up, but I loved it as a kid. Definitely sparked my imagination and love of sci-fi. Super fun to hear some of the music again! Thanks!
@jj0b thank you for listening and sharing :) wish I had seen it as a kid. It wasn’t until the 2000s and the internet that I found out about the show.
I loved that show as a kid growing up in the Bay Area. On UHF 44 I think
Wtf nice u me make cry 😢 this Sound s Remembers my when i was young n Hip Hop or Rap Was insane SMOOTH LIKE UR FLOW GREAT JOB ❤
Awww man, lovely comment. Glad you get that old school hip hop vibe from it. I grew up with 90s Rap and I think my favorite is still Temples of Boom. So dark and moody and smooth.
Woah, nice and basey. I am craving for the KO 133 again
Really having a lot of fun with it. If you’re craving it… maybe go for it 🥸
great work, the KOII is such a fun piece of gear to perform with
Really having a ton of fun with it! Fingers crossed for resampling (or more voices ;))
Man your beats are so good. Would love to see a tutorial how to make a simple beat for beginners. I have one of these coming this week- I'm super hyped to create something 🙌🏻
Thanks for the kind words, means a lot to me. I do want to make a tutorial for the KO but I haven’t found the time yet. There are quite a few great ones out there tho. And I still might end up doing some form of beat workshop.
Love it. Just got an AT burger to sit next to my KO. Thanks for the inspo.
Oh the Burger, nice. Heard good things about it. Should make for a killer combo with the KO.
love it, very unique on youtube, please make more of vinyl sampling withe the ep 133 :)
Thanks for the kind feedback. Definitely going to be doing more of these. Always hunting for a good sample ;)
👽💿 Good sample flip! seems you're doing some detailed melodies
Thanks for the kind comment :) I love to noodle a bit on pads and memorize (hopefully) nice melodies.
I always do sample first beat second. This is crazy to see.
😅 I guess it worked because I already knew what the sample flip was gonna be.
Neet but real homies use floppy disks
True 😔 should have set up my Amiga 500 and flip some crunchy 3,5“ disks.
Ah man that sample... Made a beat with it years ago and never released it cuz i was afraid of clearance issues 😭. Btw you should look on TH-cam for the live orchestra version, it's amazing!
Oh I’ll definitely look into the live version then, had no idea it existed 🥲 also I wanna hear the beat you made with that sample
I’m trying to get a setup like yours. I just have the ep-133 and the tx-6
This is too cool. What's the record you sampled? I need to cop that vinyl...
Walk to your bathroom, look in the mirror, and say this lyric:
“This is why I’m hot”
I expect to see a Gundam remix as well!
Gimme a good track suggestion! Something with ethereal vocals or somber instrumental passage and I’d give it a shot for sure ✌🏻
Are these all stock samples? And I feel like they will add resampling since so many people want it and this is selling so well.
Yeah everything is stock, didn’t feel like setting up my own samples yet. Will happen eventually ;)
And yeah I really hope there will be some resampling coz that seems to be the most requested thing atm
Super Nice beat bro ! What is your setup for the camera with iPhone as screen monitor ?
Thanks man, appreciate it. I am filming with the Sony A7IV and use the Monitor+ App which does everything that Sony doesn’t seem to be able to include in their own app. Full version is like 10 or 12 bucks but easily worth it.
@@vvlvmusic Thanks so much. I don"t know the Monitor + App ! Will check it !
@@TheWaxidermistany time ✌🏻 the app is only for Sony cams but if you’re using one, it’s the most comfy way to shoot remote.
curious about the turntable. can you recommend the model?
It certainly isn’t a high end turntable but the cartridge is decent, as is the tracking force. Especially for a setup like this I like it a lot but for serious listening sessions I stick to something else :) hope that helped.
Hi. This machine has loaded Kicks snares and hihats at start after buying it?
Hey. Yes it comes with a lot of sounds. But you can load your own samples.
Is the Ep 133 ko II a standalone Device??
Or do i need a Laptop?
It’s standalone. You can totally do everything with it as it is. Buuuut for sample management (loading samples or backing them up) you need a computer.
So how you export the track out when you're done with editing ?
You connect the output to something that records the audio. Either your DAW or in my case I use the TX-6.
It seems like a good device. Can you tell me the speaker information?
It’s a good device for sure. Never used the internal speaker so I can’t comment on it, sorry.
Anyone the record player he’s using? I dropped mine by accident and it’s time for a new one
Hii! What is the record player device called ?
@vvlvmusic thank you! Would you mind doing a video on this setup ? If you ever have a time I think alot of us would appreciate it 🙂
@simonsaysdie3155 you mean on the record player alone or on the full setup? For the record player alone, I think there might be better review channels but I’ll definitely note that down as an idea. Thank you.
The first sample you skipped was fire...
@@vvlvmusic it wouldn't hurt none and both time the needle hit on the first sample was perfect chops.
2:00 what is resampling?
Taking something from the project (like a beat, a group, a chord from several sounds/notes) and render it internally to a single sample. So you save voices (12 mono/6 stereo is the max amount of samples at the same time).
@@vvlvmusic ahh gotcha, so you're "re-saving" what has already been made by the Sampler to a new sample. Hopefully TE will add this as a software update
@@JaydenLawson exactly! And a lot of people are asking for this so if it’s possible I am fairly sure it’ll come in a firmware update.

Masterpiece! 🥲I've been playing the guitar (metal and punk) for 17 years but I also love lo-fi and chillhop and watching your vinyl sample flip videos makes me really want to create such music too! I appreciate the live breakdown of the different parts, makes it easy to understand the whole process for a noob like me. I wish you a wonderful start into 2024!👌🏽
Thanks for the kind comment! Guitar music (metal and punk, too) is where I come from as well. And I’ll always love that. But this is such a nice balance to it. Have a great start into 2024 as well and I hope to see you around 🙌🏻
@@vvlvmusic That's so awesome that you have a background in guitar and heavy music too. I agree it's a nice balance. And thank you, I'll definitely be around!
Similarly, I've been learning the guitar and mostly playing punk but also grew up listening to hip hop as well. So I just wanna mess around with this and have some fun making beats, or even practice guitar over it instead of a metronome. Great minds 🤙🏻
