Prithee, esteemed merchant, heed mine advice: "thine" (or "mine") is only used when the next word beginneth with a vowel or the letter 'h'. Should it beginneth with any other consonant, as "thoughts" doth begin, verily thou must needs use "thy" (or "my") instead. However, thou couldst still use "thine" if thou wert to insert "own" betwixt it and the ensuing word, i.e. "thine own thoughts".
Congratulations B&H. If there is a marketing oscar prize, this video would certainlly score #1, gold trophy, gold coins, gold medals, gold rings, and all the medieval treasure available on Monty Pyton and everywhere else.
Not sure how many people will be into this, but as a hurdy-gurdy player who has been wanting some backing drums and organs for my jams... Im getting one
The medieval vs the ko2 reminds me of the friend you used to nerd out with in middle school, showing up to sit with you in high school when you were trying to reinvent yourself and be cool.
From "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" to the recent Netflix series "The Decameron", medieval silliness refuses to die, bubonic plagues and unsafe food notwithstanding. Thanks to the Teenage engineers for building such a fine device that is, in Monty Python jargon, a complete waste of time. B&H, this is one of your finest videos. The park in NYC where this video was filmed used to host a medieval festival. Maybe it will come back this year with a Teenage Engineering booth hawking this fine product.
This was hilarious and well done. I'm not likely to buy one, but if I did, I would buy it from you. Also, I look forward to even more devices in the EP family.
Finally i have the perfect device to live DJ a soundtrack for my D&D games Im not even kidding actually ive wanted to set up a generative patch for background music in ttrpgs for years and this might acc bring it all together to sound like dungeon synth more than just electro noise
I have never grooved with any sample had them all from 404sx 555 mpc1000 3500 2000xl and even the pioneer sp16 but the only one I ever like is the ep ko2 it’s just so fast and nobody uses the distortion it’s soooo badass and the time stretch it’s just dope
They thoroughly missed the mark on this thing,by not including options for non equal temperament tunings/ transposition, and ways of creating non 4/4 rhythmic structures, both of which are pretty much essential for making actual medieval sounding music . Lacking those features would be a deal breaker for anyone who actually makes medieval/ medieval inspired music
Looks like an old-time desktop calculator interface. The retail of $299 isn't too bad for all you get, but it seems to be such a niche product, albeit a well done niche product, I wonder what their sales forecasts are?
I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that - I don't need that
It's the same thing with a different color. They're just trying to get you to spend $300 10 times. And come on like I'm no computer whiz but I know they could fit easily a gig of RAM or solid state in there no problem. In 2024, nothing should be touted as having 64 MB of memory

@@executor32 I'm in love
My partner looked me in the eye and said, who else was this made for other than you?

I can't wait to hear all the new bardcore tracks that get made with this thing.
'Tis a hit with all the lords and ladies of the land!
Best core I've seen thus far, well done.
quickly, lay down a fat bubonic beat upon which we may gyrate.
Well said, my lord.
indeed.
One of the best B&H videos. Love this!!!
This is the D&D tool we all need
The design is actually iconic. Not going to lie. Nothing looks like this at all.
Medieval is ICONIC.
Agreed.
Looks like a calculator and an mpc 2000xl had a baby
Well actually it looks like my old calculator

I play lute and was thinking the same thing... cheers!
I want it because I can't get a hurdy gurdy lol it nice just with the instruments you can play
Medieval clothing paired with sneakers are a real fashion statement!
Need this for my dungeon synth setup! ⚔️🐐
Me too and I already have one, I’d dedicate this just to Dungeon Synth, praise Mortiis
The medieval vs the ko2 reminds me of the friend you used to nerd out with in middle school, showing up to sit with you in high school when you were trying to reinvent yourself and be cool.
who's who tho lol
@@ventusmoses3428 lol the medieval is the one who’s still nerdy. The KO2 is nerdy but trying to rebrand 😂
@@billiedoesbeats 🤣🤣 I love this
ROFL does B&H usually do crazy in depth videos like this for new stuff?? this is gold lol.
First time for everything.
This products is so insane they couldn't resist.
Yes, I loved this. 🙌
Never have I simultaneously needed something so little but wanted something so much.

Fantastic Video! A new genre is born. Med Techno
Dropping soon to a village near you.
Anyone else thinking “Velcome to Bad Gear”…?
Thats going to be a fun one
I almost bought a new KO II at the local store a few weeks ago. Glad I waited! This one has more appropriate sounds for my tastes...
But, I mean, if Florian gets one, that would be epic...
More like Bard Gear
@@GizzyDillespee Maybe B&H will lend him one?
I'm such a nerd I was hoping/expecting this to be a new electronic instrument that constrained you to programing using medieval music theory 😅
Yes... you're a nerd alright! 🤣
Very cool, "Out-of-the-Box" tech! Undoubtedly good for a little bit of wenching!
BRILLIANT!!! This was so fun! 💜✨ Keep up the amazing creativity
Just ordered one cant wait to get it
The King will be looking forward to your beats.
We shall be extricating ourselves from this wretched village with this fresh song.

Mirthful enough to slay the Bubonic plague and bring in such tasty pheasant with its curious melodies. Huzzah!
I did not expect this. But I love it!

Good lord that intro was glorious ❤ Nice to see some companies not afraid to take risks!
Tis fun to take risk.
Amazing video, thank you.
I didn't realize this is an actual thing I can purchase. :O
I wonder how many takes it took for each clip I would’ve been laughing my ass off
It’s so ridiculous and I want it so bad
Exactly my feelings.
Ohh wow this is like EXACTLY what I’ve been dreaming of!!
We’re here to make your dreams come true
Instant like for that wonderful intro😂
Best vid!! Cute redhead!! Slay Gabe, what a perfect review
Everybody now do the Safety Dance! It's too dangerous in here! 🤣

A fine review if I ever saw one, now all I require is a shrubbery!
Yeah, great !
Haha, this is amazing!
“Sir Robin,” from Monty Python approves this video.
He bravely ran away and scarpered off....
Looks awesome
Excellent video, perfectly entertaining and informative.
I so want one of these lol love the sounds and aesthetic
That flute sound is sick
Fair does they pulled out all the stops for this video..I'm impressed
I have a mighty need for this.
This is top notch stuff; I may just go out and buy an EP ❣

"LAY DOWN A FAT, BUBONIC BEAT UPON WHICH WE MAY GYRATE" is the sentence of 2024! 😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
I’m all for efficiency but surely it’s too early for Aprils fools.
Twas wonderful Magic, ye have avoided the ducking stool .. hurrah 🙌
we making it out the shire with this one
So basically the same as the KOII but with medieval samples. Got it.
This thing looks beautiful, I don't even make bests and want it
If you get it, you can start making medieval beats!
Getting very strong 'Safety Dance' vibes from the video ...
We can dance if we want to.
Awesome production, take my like and subscribe.
congrats to you guys your EP-1320 video is better than Teenage Engineering's.
Hell yeah
Hmm, looks very vintage as well, like some of the things I have in the loft, should I get one of these ? Liked the video and demos.
YES!
This intro is so epic haha sir LENSAlot
Hmm. Comes with a lot. Let's hope the slider doesn't instantly break and fall off this time, huh?
More of The Wicker Man(1973) vibe than The Holy Grail(1975).
No need to use FX to make it creepier.

Maybe so, but that nerd sure made it sound great.
It’s a ridiculous idea, but on the other hand, is there any other company that can pull it off?
In faith and word, it did have to go that hard.
“Fat bubonic beat” was diabolical 💀
feels like this would be perfect for the Texas Dungeon Siege!
Brilliant video
what a review! Lol! Well done!
Got mine🔊🎼🎵💪🏾
Why didn't they call it midi eval rather then medieval

I think they just invented a genre. MEDM: Medieval Dance Music.
