Brilliant video with some excellent clear camera work. It made me chuckle. You didn't speak all the way through then when you mated the gearbox back up you gave us a celebratory whistle. I've one to do on my daughters car, just summoning up some enthusiasm. I've done a few over the years but mainly RWD. The only FWD was an Astra GTE and the clutch came out of the side of the bellhousing - simples. On my daughter's the clutch has got stiff. Ive tried a new cable. Were there any bushes in the clutch release mechanism that could cause the issue. I want to do everything just once :)
Pana pero no mostraste como cambiaste el disco y la prensa y si le hiciste algo al volante... :( y tampoco vi en que momento le sacaste el lubricante a la transmisión... si sacaste los semi ejes tenía que drenarse el aceite por lo sellos del diferencial... :(

Hi awesome video , I have the same car but recently it does not want to start , i keep hearing a clicking sound and the lights work , i think something came loose when I accidentally knocked the pavement on the left side , any help would be great thanks
Johan Pretorius gearbox oil was as soon as driveshaft was put back in. ... There should be a level plug on the front about halfway up the box. Otherwise right at the top there’s a big nut. hi i have a kia picanto i tried to change the gear box oil so undid the top nut to see how much oil was in there and it started to drip indicating it was full so i undid the drain plug which is near to the inspection nut but no oil came out strange so i started the engine and about a pint came out but then i though why is it telling me it was full up on the level nut can you help thanks.

blijytoo they don’t drain well unless you crack the level plug due to the location of the breather. Fill it back up till it overflows at the level plug.

Try and put a jump cable from the battery earth to the engine see if that does it.
How did you managed to separate The Gearbox from The engine? Mine won't come Loose...

@@WMCS ps could i use a syphon pump to drain it.
blijytoo you shouldn’t have to. Take a pic of the drain plug and WhatsApp it to me. Just be sure. 07376369067
