It’s not about him thinking he’s the leader, it’s about the fact that like he’s your son, he wants to be around you both, in his loving home which you have both provide. Great job guys!

Got a 4 month old cane corso. Did exactly the same thing though not so much barking and crying, he gets nippy. If he was not in an arms length he gets frustrated, especially in the back seat of the car. Funny, I purchased Will’s perfect puppy training course a few months ago. Best course ever. Also, I saw a humping concern. Mine did the same thing. Nothing worked but walking through him when he did it. When he jumped up I would walk through him and knocked him off balance and he didn’t like that at all. Pulling him off, ignoring, redirecting, etc. did nothing for it.
Cane Corso puppies are just the absolute #1 cutest puppies of all time 🥰.
Our max is now 14 weeks. Our breeder said you should take him home in the front seat on the lap. Max rode up front with us until recently when he ran out of room. He got up one ride walked to the back of the Jeep, seats in back were down and layed down. Now he so enjoys the ride in the back. He’s the one that decided he needed more room. It was so easy. Be patient embrace your cane, they need the touch. Great video and we always look forward to Bruce. Thanks

We currently have a puppy corso . The whining is decreasing but yas 👏🏻 she just wants to be beside us at all time . Giving attention while also maintaining boundaries is an art . Never had a dog that’s so about their people before .

Thanks so much for sharing. I guess dogs are a bit like children. The closer the contact with you when they are little, the more confident they become as they get bigger. We all need to feel like part of the pack.

I'm so glad we have someone like you on youtube talking about your dog the way you do. I have an Isreali friend, who had a Cane and I fell in love with the breed. My dream, is to have a Cane Carso, and a Belgian Melanoise. I just wish there was someone that made videos like you do about Belgians, so I can educate myself on both breeds. My dream is to open up my own mechanic shop, and have them both so well mannered that they can basically be my shop dogs, and have them have free rein of where they go in the shop...with in reason haha. Plus having those two breeds would definitely deter anyone from coming in and trying to rob the place. But again, thank you for being so awesome on youtube and educating on your dog. This will help me a lot when I am able to get my own.

This works for lab puppies too. We have a 5 months old and he is really good about everything. This came with that great balance of love and discipline. (And a LOT of exercise.)

He just wanted your love. Nothing wrong with that. I want my dog warm and fuzzy like that with me. Thank you so much for teaching me about this breed. I've had both a bull mastiff and English mastiff as well as step dad to a great dane. I know what my next breed is going to be. Best temperament from an animal. You just have to be the pack leader and acknowledge you need them to get by. Treat them like you care and they are the most loyal creatures.

My mastiff puppy cries so much he doesn’t bark but he cries what we did to stop it was we stopped putting him in in his crate and he stopped. I also started sitting in the backseat with him and the crying was gone.

The more I look at these videos of those many with cane corsos, the more I realize these dogs are somewhat high maintenance. But it doesn't take away how fasinated I am with them. Especially the very few like Bruce Wayne and another who I shall not name out of respect for this channel.

Thank you Jason - even though I decided, this time around, to go for a local (Portuguese) Mountain Mastiff breed pup rather than a Corso, your advice has helped TONS: Every night at potty-times, your words are in my mind about not to let your Giant Breed pup walk stairs. Every night, the little thing is getting heavier - "puppy-lifting" is a serious workout -, but it's easy to persevere, knowing I'm preventing later joint problems. Your advice about stopping crying by just putting the little thing next to you absolutely works. Mine gets vocal as soon as the crate door closes, even though I might be sitting right next to the crate, so: Leashing the pup and encouraging the habit to lie down and stay next to me is the answer here. Much love from Portugal!

My corsa developed a close relationship with our postman,to point where she would take the letters from him,if we happened to run into him whilst out,only a leaflet would placate her had the mail already been dilivered,in her world all postmen offered friendly interaction,this was not always recipricated as you can imagine,and lead to many memorable moments,once that head is buried in the bottom of a posties bag,its not easy to extract,shopping bags fall under this heading also,even after moving house this behaivour continued,corsa,s love familarity which breeds success,a dog with character,u have been warned,lol

I've had my two Cane Corso puppies for about 2 and 1/2 weeks now so they're about 11 weeks old and there have been constantly crying as well but I did figure out as long as they were with one of us down on the ground or up in our chair or couch that it subsided. Having two is definitely a challenge if you have any suggestions please I am open to any

Hi Jason I've seen a corso recently that looks like she has an overshot (bottom) jaw. Is it possible that they may have played tug with her too vigorously and too early in her development and therefore created the problem? I don't remember noticing this when she was much younger but maybe she was always this way. It's not something I would have thought about in the past but scary for a puppy's future development if this is correct. Thanks
