I can totally see someone pulling up an anvil at an anime convention, clanging it with a hammer and starting to sing this with a ton of fans joining in within the first couple of lines.
This OST being dropped in on this scene, honestly, is likely one of the most groundbreaking uses of an OST in Anime History. The timing, the presence, the build up, the roleplay interactions, all of it, just led to this thing being sicker than the sickest bass drop of all time.
This reminds me of the book "Brisinger" where an elven smith sings while she forges, her music being a means of weaving spells into the metal of the swords she makes.
@@blurwake every anime that has a smithing scene has the characters just hitting the same spot over and over. Same with video games true, which doesnt give anime a pass to copy bad behavior.
@irmiwolf I didn't give anime in general a pass, I gave this video game anime a pass as it makes sense that a video game would simplify blacksmithing since they are condensing hours and days of work into under a minute.

I rarely stick around the songs where there isnt some epic moment or something, i believe we are so used to it, but i watched the episode and was like man i gotta find this on YT ASAP. And i havent stopped listening to it since... it is just amazing to see this scene and the song just fits, like old timey stuff, so much so that my vorpal soul is singing too :D
i am so glad i started watching this anime it even got me into the manga which rarely happens for me it's been literally perfect for me so far 10/10 goated
Honestly I saw this the first time after spending 4 hours in a forge and needing to veg out for a bit as my shoulders and hands were numb after the hammering. It now sits in my forge playlist with a bunch of shanties as it's easier to keep a steady hammer rhythm with them.
dont let your dreams slip away , i forged 3 knives and dont had equipments or place to did it , i just dig a forge bought a small anvil and hammer and done it.
This video doesn't really do this clip justice, because there is nothing else in this show quite like this moment. You watch the entire show and then this scene comes out of nowhere and suddenly the atmosphere and pace have completely changed and taken on a solid and serious tone that the show has never really played before. This scene really stuck with me and a lot of other people, not just because it was a cool scene, but because of how vastly different it felt from the rest of the show. Even though you know logically it's all a video game created by developers with too much time on their hands, something about it just feels special.
D&D: a dwarf was forging a sword en the bard decided to buff with song, a terrible 1 the knight shot him up, but Dwarf decided to sing a song instead, a natural 20, play this song 🎵 the dwarf gave him smug face
The fucking people in the comment section gettin all mad about the hammer striking the same spot need to know that this scene is from inside of a video game INSIDE OF THE ANIME. It's perfectly logical for the story to have a game use the same animation INSIDE THE ANIME for something as minor as blacksmithing.
Top it off, he is using magic to keep the metal from cooling while he shapes the metal. The song and rhythm of strikes are all a part of a complex mini-game we are so not seeing. Cause, all we see is him, hitting the same spot.
Dubbing songs is a different matter entirely so most dubs don’t sing An example of one which broke that rule is Iruma-kun From what i remember the dub on 1 and 2 has some of the songs translated but not all Probably takes a lot of time Not sure about season 3
the anime is Shangri-La Frontier. The guy with the bird head is just playing a full dive VR MMO. He was the first person to find the secret story line in the rare rabbit land event. This whole thing is a cut scene while he gets new weapons.
Unfortunatlely, not even this fire ost could save this dumpster fire or an anime. Even worse for the absolute trash LN/manga since they don't even have this to make even a little bit entertaining.

….I’m going to learn this song now to pull that off one day
@@tsunami729 i was finna say the same shit xD
In the manga it was just a nice moment, the anime version they just dropped this beautiful thing that nobody expected. No complains, its perfect.
Well to be expected as you cant produce sound in the same vain in book format as you can in a video with audio.
I love how it sounds like an actual old folk song rather than anything modern that most animes have
thats what I love about this scene. It sounds like an old timey adventure theme.
this is giving me a Lord of the Rings vibe and I love it

Sanraku : what's vorpal soul ?

Played this when my players in my dnd game visited a high end Dwarven blacksmith. Everyone was really enjoying it

Agrees with you, and this why I saved this to YT
was watching the anime and when this bit came on just stood still af absorbing what was happening

Not now ,not in 4-5 years from today. Mby in 7-8 years if tech isn't stop to evolve, and if world would not be destroyed by greed and fake ideas.
i wish they would make this an actual song and post it on spotify.
I've seen this scene 3 times now, when I watched the episode, when my bf watched it, and now... Goosebumps every single time!
No matter how far Anime progresses, they never got passed the "only hitting the same spot over and over" animation.
It is a video game based anime, of course its hitting the same spot, as they do with all video game blacksmiths.

Listening to this makes me wanna go forge a blade the heart and soul u can feel it going into the blade with every hit😊

Not only that This loading screen is an Ultra rare one where only a limited number of people have seen
This was so amazing song to hear
man. yujiro hanma can sing pretty well.
My buddy sent me this, and it was what got me to watch the show. The op piqued my interest, but this sold me on it
Well worth the watch

This scene feels almost like something out of a Ghibli movie.

i love they made the correct lip movements...i love this
been looking for this
Soooo going to cosplay Vysache....
Are you going to sing the song as well?
I wonder if there’s a way to make the magic circles into props
Need to do more research, but hologram projectors look like an option…
With that speed of hammering it would take him a few days straight to make a sword
