HECTIC BATTLE with a Monster Catfish! (Barge Bite?)

I took the kayak out on the James River looking for a giant Blue Catfish. I had to wade through a handful of smaller fish to find him, but then HE BIT.
I also talk a little bit about some new kayak gear, as well as the simple technique I’m using to fish today.

I used to live a few minutes from that boat ramp. Cats and Vultures were terrible years ago too.

Yeah whenever I go there's usually one or two gnarly looking stray cats in the parking lot too.
