Loretta is the best kept secret of American Standup Comedy Scene. She has mastery over the ability to talk humorously ...much better than very many youngsters. I found her video cassette tape (VHS) in a local library more than a decade ago. I was lifted out of my depressive mood immediately with a good laugh. WHAT IS VERY IMPORTANT IS THAT THE PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE SHE TELLS US TO REFLECT UPON regardless of who we are. She calls out people's stupidity and to look at all the catastrophization, Awefulization, Sphincterization etc. Her slaps are just wonderfully cathartic; Not only hilarious but a good deal educational.

🌸 Greetings everyone, I am going through a lot of stuff the past week, Covid19 just bloomed and I was unfairly written out of my mothers will all in the same week but ~ listening to Larreta just totally helped me break the bubble of Stress that I was lost in. I’m just so impressed that she’s as old as she is, sharp and poignant and her nuances and she’s such a good standup comic and all the lovely little gems of wisdom that she passes on to us !
I wish I was related to her but luckily we have her on our phones and I highly recommend anybody if you’re feeling blue, lonely ~ listen to her ! She’ll brighten up your spirit like a 🌈Rainbow, thank you Loretta thank you so much for your funny, loving presence ! 🌸!
