I really liked this. I did not believe James stood a chance with his drift spec leafblower design as the 27 nm of force seemed inferior along with the drift inducing steering. But the results truly blew me away as James' ride truly was a cut above the competition.
@@dacomputernerd4096 James explained it at the end, the leaf blowers kept adding thrust, and kept adding thrust, and would have continued to do so as long as they were ran (until the speed of the trike matched the speed of the blower.) The chainsaw motors, while more powerful, cap out at a set speed. If the course was more complicated the chainsaws may have won the race (more power at the low end,) but it was rather smooth so the leaf blowers could just keep pushing faster and faster

The pedal assist with powered rear is actually a great idea, especially for smaller electric motors. I have an 1800w Vevor and a Far Driver nd72300 I’m thinking of using on another Razor dxt build. I powered one already with a front electric hub that is pretty cool. I’d like to see the comparison from a front wheel drive drift trike to a rear drive.

Hey hacksmith! When this quarantine stuff is over I think it would be cool if you all made some huge race course and tried driving these carts there!
Would be neat to see this in the form of 1-day, 2-day, etc events to show the difference time and planning can do to a design
