People saying that it sounds the same than stock, you have no idea.

nice sound for a slip on, but the angle could use some adjustment.

It doesn't sound a whole lot different on camera.

These bikes have a cat and 2 mufflers. This was just a slip on for the second one. It's perfect to give a little sound and better look without being loud or expensive

      @@thumperfromthe951 yeah,true.That's why slip ons don't make a huge difference.Still nice though.

It’s sounds like the stock pipe.

there is still a cat and the primary muffler. this replaces the secondary muffler

Well at least it’s a little lighter, that stock can weights a tone 😂

@@NettoZ900 Yea, but if you’re going to do it then get rid of the massive primary muffler that sits under hidden. That’s what’s restricting everything.

@@techguy3373 I know, I did that, but for some people it’s super loud and some countries have restrictions with noise sound… but personally I like it loud and ripping 😼

@@NettoZ900 Yea. There’s actually two mufflers on that stocks exhaust. The larger bread box hidden under the bottom is what dampens all that bikes beautifully sound. Replacing with fill system is the only way to open it up. The slip on is mostly cosmetic.

Get rid of the breadbox and it won't still sound stock.. might as well of saved the $100 and kept original one on

It was paid for by the dealership and looks better than stock. when we bought the bike it had a small scratch on the stock can so we got 500 off and bought this. it's the perfect volume for my wife.

@@thumperfromthe951 Bike mechanic told me that most sport bikes beyond 2012 do not require any ECU tuning if you do full aftermarket exhaust. According to him the bike will automatically adjust in the ECU to compensate for the Cat missing. He said a power commander and tuning is not necessary these days. (I have somewhat verified that) but I’m not an expert to know for 100% sure. In other words he claims late model bikes will auto adjust to the improved air flow of a full exhaust system. Although he did say the Z900 only gets about a 3 HP improvement from full stock to full aftermarket. The Cat seems to be the most restrictive part of the system and with aftermarket your eliminating that Cat restriction. I suppose later you could always buy just the header to your pipe system at a later time which would dramatically improve the sound. Check on that because I don’t think any tuning after full exhaust is required for the 2020 and later z900. It auto adjust just fine so it won’t burn too lean or too rich👍

we probably will just leave it as is. she's not that fast so the money doesn't seem worth the power. when we bought the bike it was a showroom model and the ugly stock can was scratched so they gave us 500 off and I ordered the slip on while we did paperwork lol. my bikes get all the goodies she's always content.
