Not a cheesy bean fan but that metal can stuck to a wooden cupboard got my attention.
Ha ha!that made me laugh 😊
Daft price. Good tune!
Morrisons own brand beans and beans and sausages are my ‘go to’. My go-to quick comfort lunch is beans & sausages can, cheese, black pepper, fried egg and toast 😊
AH! great playing - love the Doors, got all their albums, loved all my life. / Oh yes, these look like the deal, added to list for sure. Mark.
Hi Papp. Heinz/CC cheesy baked beans sounds good to me. Something definitely not in the range we have and I don't remember ever seeing a cheesy beans around these parts. Our Heinz range is made in New Zealand from imported ingredients and then shipped across the ditch to us Aussies.
Obviously the pot of beans wasn't very hot, the way you were holding it. I haven't eaten bb's out of the pot in years.
Something I must try with my enamel coated milk pan, camping equipment.
Mate, great choice The Doors, Light My Fire. Whenever I'm feeling out of sorts, I'll put the doors on for comfort and distraction. Riders of the storm is so relaxing and L.A Women gets me going.
If you're going to say Heinz. Say cheese 😜.... Please.
Cheers John 👍🤤😀
Bought nothing heinz since the price rises and dont intend to start again. Great review as always papp. Used to love the doors, the hippy favourites 😂
A bit dear when I can buy separate beans and cheese but they look 😋
the moment its Heinz , it too expensive .
Cheesy beans were my favourite way back over 40 years ago, when I came home from the pub. I never thought that it would catch on that much but a tin of those makes it so much quicker. Shame that the beer isn't that price anymore.
Nice one Papp... I'm the same my friend... And precisely for the exact same reason as you... I can make my own version much cheaper myself... When we were kids... One of our favourite meals... Was a tin of Heinz Baked Beans... And we had a fresh Egg cracked into the Baked Beans and mixed thoroughly once the Baked Beans had been warmed through... This makes the Baked Beans much thicker... And it also had a much paler orange colour to it too... Once the Egg had been cooked through completely... We would have it on fresh Buttered Toast... Then we would have the Baked Beans covered in grated Cheese and put them under the grill to melt the Cheese... After adding some Salt & Pepper... We would all tuck in... I was always a HP Sauce lover Papp... So i would also add on some delicious tasting HP Sauce too pal... 😋 I've just had a bag of Whitby Seafoods Scampi for my evening meal... Along with some of the new McCain Air Fryer Deep Ridge Crinkle Cut Chips... As they're on offer at Asda at the moment my friend... A 750g bag of them should cost £3.00 each... But on offer at Asda... They're only £1.60 each... Many thanks for the review Papp... It's very much appreciated my friend... All the very best... Cheers mate. 🍺
Cheesy baked beans on toast, that's how I'll have mine YUMMO!
Stupid money for beans
Not if you're the manufacturer.
Dam right it is, that cathedral mob love sticking the prices up when they get involved with anything, same at Ieland, stuff is expensive for what it is
I mostly add my cathedral cheese,in my beans, and two fried egg dinner isdone.
I tried these, the flavour is good but I found the beans to be a bit hard. Like you, I will continue to add cheese to regular beans.
Good choice of music mate! 💨🔥🤣
Hey mate. Hope you're OK... you should definitely try Heinz Curry Beans and the Heinz Chilli Beans. They are really nice.
Nice tan Pap! nice to see some summer action...The Doors class! yeah these gimmick beans will fill a hole I suppose
Nice to see there isn't any added nasty gunge.
Oddly there are more beans in this than a normal tin of heinz beans.
I'll stick to Asda red tins which id put money on being made by branston and some grated cheddar cheese
I wasn't too keen on these.
Decent at first but got a bit sickly after a few gob fulls.
Sound decent to be fair, my fav beans are branston beans, but id try these, nice one
Hi Papparoni, another top drawer review here on this Heinz product - I do like Cathedral City Cheese and the Sauce in here looks really good ! I will have to try it ! have a top Monday Mate :-)
Evening Paps ! Hope you’re well mate , and finally enjoying some good weather . Ahhhhh , another Heinz rip-off . Still trading on the name , to be honest I’m amazed they’re still in business . However , a selfish part of me is kind of glad they are , as they’re still making Sandwich Spread , the taste of my childhood !
Ridiculous mate. Tin of beans & some grated cheese & save yourself about £1 per tin.
Reminds me tho, haven't had beans on toast for ages. Bit of cheese, dollop of brown sauce... 2mrws brekkie sorted.
Glad you do this, so we don't have too....👍
They're also doing a frozen cathedral city and heinz beans cheese toastie at Iceland - I haven't tried it yet but it sounds appealing.
I will admit Pap I had been put off a bit buying these as I thought they may have been gimmicky rubbish with not enough cheese flavour to them.. however after watching this review I think i'm definitely going to have to give them a go! That creamy yellowy bean sauce looked lovely as well! 😋
Go for it Mr Atkinson, I'd even go as far to suggest that you add extra cheese for maximum comfort ;)
£1.50 of your hard earned for a can of beans? Heinz are taking the proverbial…
Well sorry to say they are out of my price range for a tin of beans I will stick with the Sainsbury's baked beans (40p) and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese I'm sure that is just as good if not better
Hi Pappy not feeling too good today but it's good to watch another food review them beans would be lovely on toast.😊
Yuk! My idea of cheesy beans is cheese grated over the top so that it melts in, I wouldn't dream of cooking cheese with the beans. I can honestly say that I won't be trying these.
I’m conflicted about these, I’ve seen 6 reviews on these, 3 said there good and 3 said there bad, unfortunately as I’ve told you previously I now live in America and there’s no way I’m paying about $4 or more for something that I may or may not like, I’ll just stick to making my own, but thanks for the review pappa
Jesus, I wonder when we're going to see a CHICKEN Aloo Saag, Cathedral City, MADRAS with EIGHT eggs?
£1.50 for beans is a bargain
Lidl beans taste good and not a rip off price.
Cathedral City cheese could make the a smelly sock taste ok...FK sake did i just say that😆
so really what is the point other than they earn shed loads of money from mugs.
just get a tin of beans and add some cheese
Why pay £1.50 when you could get a tin of supermarket own branded beans & add your cheese of choice. It's another pointless gimmick product from Heinz. Just like the cathedral city toastie. That was rank.
my friend your late out of the traps on this sorry to say no one has given them a good review 😂
Hate baked beans. Whatever flavour they are available in they are still baked beans. Think the texture is the worst thing about them. Eating them would be like an Australian bush tucker trial to me. Just a humble opinion though.
Then you definitely wouldn't like hot coals roasted witchetty grubs. Sort of a creamy nutty flavour with the texture of baked beans.
@@johndavis7944 Probably wouldnt. Also, I like to have a sell by date on the packaging of my food. I then feel safe knowing when it needs to be eaten by. I would prefer to buy meat from my local butchers but how does anyone know how long the meat has been lingering?
Sell by dates are just guidelines, tinned products are full of preservatives and 9 times out of 10 canned food is good for multiple years after its 'gone out of date'. I recently ate a tin of Heinz beef ravioli that went out of date in 2021 and my stomach didn't even flinch
Thought would be rank 😂 1.50 tho for beans rip off Heniz as per usual
EXPENSIVE gimmick. Do your own for cheaper. Good review though. Papp
I'm not a fan of baked beans
£1.20 in Sainsburys just now.
