lol heard an extra voice at end lol. Cute
" Let's get involved "!! Love this channel❤❤
Another product that isn't needed. Honestly pap there are many good oven chips out on the market. I just stick to my conventional chips/crinkle & use a chip fryer with oil. Xx
Maybe if they were cooked at a higher temp / for a bit longer? (But I know that's breaking the rules for not following the instructions!)
I deep fry the frie version of these there very similar to mc ds with sum salt added ofc 😊😊
The last frozen chips we got that were any good was icelands ridiculously crispy but the we stopped eating frozen chips a couple years ago because of the veg oil. We now do homemade deep fried in beef dripping. Theyre not as crispy but taste so much better.
Chips in dripping are amazing mate. I don't eat frozen chips personally, just love to review, I dig up my own spuds, cover them in olive oil and salt and air fry them, spectacular :)
Can always predict the enthusiasm of your “oh yes/oh yeah” and got it spot on again haha. These look like…….normal chips 😂
i suppose they will go in a conventional oven then
I find these brand crossover things rarely work well and are just an excuse to jack up prices.
Normally I'd say to just go with a deep fryer but I'm on a health kick so am learning its best to air fry your own homemade chips/wedges, etc. Then you can choose your own seasonings, coatings and the like.
I like to chip my own spuds, rub them in olive oil and airfry on 205c, works every time.
As per usual I'll just mention 4 large potatoes are probably the equivalent of that bag and probably 5 times cheaper but we all know this of course.
Wow you are on a roll! / Sound nice enough! / LOL at CHiPs, back to my school days, nicely played / They do look really tasty. / A "muted" oh yes for sure. / Don't use our air fryer as much as I should, but I do think real chips from chopped potatoes is still the most satisfying choice! / Mark
That tune was tricky to learn mate, some difficult hand movements. As for real chips, Mammaroni has told me to do a members video digging up my own spuds, and cooking chips ;)
I had these for my tea earlier with some chicken nuggets and baked beans and really enjoyed them, but then again Paps like you said they did have some salt and vinegar on them, also can definitely see your point about them being too similar to oven chips when they profess to be something special 🙄
Indeed Mr Atkinson, I will use the cheaper ones or just dig up some spuds, which is what I normally do :)
I do love crackle cut chips. I have to have chips once a week love them. Oh I expected more really. Thanks Papparoni 🤗
They use to process something like 800 tonnes a week or a day, crazy amount of spuds.
I tried them it says 8 minutes in the air fryer well if you like warm soggy chips like you get in Mcdonalds then there the chip for you if you want them nice and crisp you need to leave them in your air fryer for longer. I don't think there a bad chip but I wouldn't pay £3.20 for them luckily Sainsbury's were doing them for £1.60 the other week nectar card only no riff raff and I bought 2 bags for my freezer.
All the more reason to buy a block of lard and get the chip pan out.
Sadly oven chips leave me cold! It's the old chip pan on the gas hob for me every time! Either with rapeseed oil or, occasionally lard or beef dripping!
They look ok to be fair
I love these chips
Nice one pappa, you made chips so you did the theme from chips, smart thinking, shame they wasn’t better. But I’ve always found McCain chips pretty mediocre
Don't know if they'll be at your Heron but here in Preston, 49p big pot of Japanese instant noodles. Haven't tried them yet. Bought two because I know they'll probably be gone forever the next time I'm in.
I just buy chips from Aldi or Heron, those crinkle ones in a green bag. Actually mainly Heron because the Aldi near me closed and moved further away.
The noodles sound interesting chap, I'm a long way from a Heron these days unfortunately but I will pop in to one again. As for the chips, the cheap crinkle chips are just as good as these things.
Ahh McCain. You're crapping on again....
I have a Ninja and all chips cook a bit differently. So if these chips are specifically recommended by ninja, I cannot see why.
I wouldn't buy them in any case as I'm not a fan of crinkle cut. I'm a straight cut kind of guy.
I had the KFC $2 large chips and a can of sirena smokey chilli tuna for lunch again today. Best fish and chips ever. Well almost...
Cheers Papp 👍😀🤤
A product that only exists to make uninformed people fall for it in favour of other equally good products that don't happen to have 'air fryer' written on the bag. Pretty crappy behaviour if you ask me.
Not a happy man 😂😂😂😂
Great review however I wouldn't trust a ninja recommendation if u saw my warning about the Ninja 9.5 u would understand 😊
@@Papparoni thanks paps still waiting the manufacturer xxx🤗but I do think ur review was great 🥰
These looked very bland, Papp.
Weaning myself off "vegetable" oils.
Leftover new potatoes, sliced to pound coin thickness, and then fried in olive oil or beef dripping would be my chip of choice. ✌
I'm with you mate, I review this stuff so people can see but chip my own spuds and air fry in olive oil ;)
"crispier... or tastier... or SOMETHING-er..." made me laugh. You're a great and very watchable consumer video host! So glad I discovered you and looking forward to enjoying more of your content. Best wishes
