The best part of the whole video is when he plays Youngest Daughter and it sounds 100% like the record because all the knobs on his danelectro flanger are broken/stuck.

guitarfan149 all of the shit in his video has gone up in price since the video. With the exception of his Flange lol.
this stuff is expensive lol. he’s got a 4x12 cab with VINTAGE vintage 30’s, a vtm60 amp head. that whole setup is like $3k. albeit this was recorded 9 years ago and trends changed but holy moly is this setup nowhere near cheap anymore.
9 years ago that head and cab were probably $600 max 😢

2023 and still some of the thickest tones to grace our ears, I play in a three piece and as the guitarist superheaven have been a great influence in introducing me into big sounding dynamic chords, I know they're a two guitar setup, but it makes a difference on just the one guutar

doea anyone know what pickups he put in his squire jazzmaster? or what ones are in his classic player
i'd like to know myself. Not sure which ones are in the squier but the classic player has pickups very close to p90's rather than fenders regular jazzmaster pickups. You can find used classic player pickups online so maybe that's what he put in the squier.

Whats the new bridge that he put in the squier jazzmaster?
+Danny Weinhofen I think he just swapped the old bridge for a tune o matic. A shitload of Jazzmaster players do that so they don't have to deal with strings popping out the saddles. J.Mascis does it, so I guess it's worth it!

IanSammiches jazzmaster pickups aren't p90s.
they do look similar but aren't quite the same.
Anyway it's an amazing fat tone for being single coils in the bridge position. That album sounds huge, I would've never imagined it.
