Yeah exactly, they're more or less uniquely identifieably by their model names. Also it's really just a combination of the Series, string number, wood, and sometimes extra stuff like tremolos. Hard to remember but no one's calling them by their model name anyways, everyone just says "RG" "Iceman" whatever.
The Fender (and Gibson) thing of naming guitar models with a year they weren’t made in is such confusing garbage too. Check out this ‘79 American Heritage Classic Tele, it’s the 2008 model.

Part of the reason I love knocked loose so much is they are legit extreme metal/hardcore but they seem like really nice and genuine dudes that I would see myself hanging out with on a random weekday.
Met Perry at furnace fest in 2022, he is really that nice and down to earth in person. Was crazy to run into him just walking around a festival as a fan.
i know alot of bands use modelers but i’d like to see the rig rundowns give more info on what amps, cabs etc are being used within the modelers / capture.. pedals , routing.

Nicko's AZ is interesting! I had the one with the same router password lol...AZ24047. Was a little different though...HSS with a trem. Interesting that they used the same exact model number. I traded mine for something else with a thinner neck. It's cool that Nicko was able to get a slimmer neck on his, I didn't know Ibanez did that on AZ models, thought they all had the same medium kinda neck, even the signature models seem to have the same specs. Perks of being an artist I guess...if it's a reasonable enough request you'll get taken care of. I saw a live video of Knocked Loose where one of the guitarists was using the completely stock AZ24047 (perhaps it was Nicko). Those guys (and/or their techs) clearly know how to setup a guitar nicely to get them working well in drop G. I actually preferred to tune up to drop B on mine using the stock strings to keep it feeling tight (and drop B sounds awesome on a 7 string when using the baritone version of the tuning).
Yo Isaac, and anyone who cares 😂 I use a mix and match hybrid string set up, Ernie balls super slinkys , the baritone set 13-72, and the mammoth set 62-12. The baritone strings are awesome, very easy to play, great gauges too 🤘

The quad cortex is so simple, easy and it's a smooth transition and yet it's so complex to configure and need a tech to get it as close to your old tube amp as possible but still have a lot of tweaking / patch tests to eventually improve the sound? 🤦🏻♂️
